Excellent service and staff. When I couldn't get my sick dog into my regular vet I called them and got him in the same day. My puppy came back home well. This is now the only Vet I want to go to. Thank you Rancho Pet Hospital!!!

Our beloved Yorkshire terrier died in the early hours of September 1st 2021. We had rushed him to an emergency vet after he suffered a brain bleed and a seizure. We had been coming to Rancho Pet Hospital for around 3 months. Our dog first suffered from diarrhea and weight loss. Numerous blood tests were done over this period and at no point did Dr Ravi or Rancho Pet Hospital tell us about his serious underlying issue. This was either due to incompetence or outright negligence. Dr Ravi and RPH categorically failed to warn us let alone treat him for his underlying issue. This resulted in a brain bleeding episode which was massively distressing and entirely avoidable if the appropriate action was taken after reviewing the blood results. The emergency vet reviewed the blood results carried out by Rancho Pet Hospital and was horrified. They informed us that the results indicated that he had a serious condition, quite possibly bone cancer and that the final blood test indicated that a bleeding episode was very likely. Dr Ravi and RPH completely failed in their care of our dog and he was never treated for the condition we did not know he had. This resulted in an agonizing and traumatic end to his life. Going to RPH was a serious mistake and resulted in the painful death of our dog, traumatic memories we will never forget, and hundreds of dollars wasted. This review serves as a warning to anyone thinking of taking their pet to Rancho Pet Hospital. We have submitted a formal complaint to the California Veterinary Medical Board.

Dr. Ravi did 2 surgeries for our little Shih Tzu COCO. He was very responsive to our questions. COCO is recovering well and everything seems to be smooth after the surgery. Very Knowledgeable Vet. Highly recommend him.

Rancho Pet Hospital is such a wonderful place to take your sick pet. We took our cat in for an emergency visit at 1pm, and he was in for surgery within four hours and home the same day. Very affordable prices and a very compassionate doctor and staff. I can't thank them enough!

First time we brought 2 of our cats to Rancho pet Hospital was in 2019. At that time everything seemed to be nice. Now 2 years later – this place has gone downhill and our experience with this Vet and his staff was simply sad and not reassuring at all. They seem to be very disorganized and our impression was that they probably accept way more patients than they are supposed to. However, we can’t see what is going on behind those entrance doors since we are not allowed inside due to the pandemic. Back in May this year one of our older cats Charlie was experiencing symptoms like allergies or cold and so I called Rancho Pet Hospital and made an appointment. We dropped Charlie off at 1:30 PM. Dr. Ravi called later to tell us about the symptoms like sniffling and runny nose. He said it maybe related to allergies or cold. Then he said he would like to perform and X-Ray and blood work. He also said he wants to put our cat on antibiotic immediately. Well, that was a bit weird – administering antibiotic before the diagnosis! Later his assistant (or receptionist) while informing us about the charges told us antibiotic would help any of the symptoms; whether it’s allergies or cold. Really??? Since when antibiotic cures all of the above symptoms? It took about 5 hours for the bloodwork and X-Ray. That is an awfully long time… After that we waited for 3 days to hear about Charlie’s test results. Meanwhile our Cat was vomiting from the antibiotic that Dr. Ravi prescribed him. Charlie lost his appetite and refused to eat. So we had to discontinue it on our own since we had to wait for the follow-up for such a long time. We decided to call and were put on a long hold. During that hold a few people (must have been assistants) picked up the phone asking how they could help. We heard lots of loud dog barking. That alone made an impression that Rancho Pet Hospital was overwhelmed. Then we had a conversation with Dr. Ravi and he created a lot of confusion for us. Charlie’s labs and X-Ray did not uncover any infection, but our cat was prescribed an antibiotic? Dr. Ravi didn’t seem very detail oriented (possibly due to being overwhelmed). In regards to our comment about antibiotic side effects he said he would give our cat an additional medication that would eliminate the vomiting. When we asked why our cat needed antibiotic in the first place he said we had the right to reject the antibiotic. Really? We thought we would trust a Veterinarian in his assessments and sound advice. That didn’t make any sense. He also said our cat had kidney disease and suggested hospitalization. Hospitalizing our cat in a place that sounded like a Zoo would not be a good option for us. We were left with a lot more questions to Dr. Ravi and so we had to call again. The nurse suggested to send Dr. Ravi an email which he would respond to. We did so and got an extremely defensive response on the second day. We found a new Vet for our Cats and are very happy with the new place. The new Vet explained to us about a very mild early-stage kidney disease our 15.5-year-old Charlie has. He did not suggest any hospitalizations and said it could be managed with a diet at this point. And our Boy is doing much better now!

Dr. Ravi and the staff are just amazing. They are very kind and prices are so reasonable. Services are so fast and always provide clear communication with great patience. They provide the complete clear estimate before doing any service on your pet and good part is they don't try to overcharge. So fortunate and glad to found this place. Highly recommend this place.

Unprofessional, incompetent, lies after problems are pointed out. I took my young cat to be neutered at this clinic. Upon pickup (Contactless due to covid including a carrier to carrier transfer) it was immediately obvious that my cat had urine on him. Upon closer inspection he was actually completely covered from head to tail in pee to the point of fur being matted. A call was made to the clinic and a technician claimed my cat was checked on 3 times. That is not true and if it is that is even more sad. At discharge time, one of the technicians or the "vet" himself made the choice to discharge my pet knowing very well that he was covered in urine completely. Then to have the "vet" try to claim he was cleaned several times and he must have urinated again at discharge time is a completely laughable attempt at a cover. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS JOKE OF A CLINIC IF YOU VALUE YOUR PETS SAFETY, HEALTH AND WELL BEING. (should I even mention the fact that every time i spoke to a technician the price changed)

This is the best place I have found for my dog, Tenshi, who is still a puppy sharpei. They are busy and probably because they are good, and have good doctors. I would not recommend showing up too early cause they are usually right on time, and busy like I said. I just had Tenshi spayed, and they did everything I could ask for, and followed up too so recovery is going nicely. I would recommend getting a protective cone ahead of time as they may not have your size. But will still make sure your pet is protected with something.

The absolute BEST EVER!!!! Dr. Ravi and his staff literally saved our pup Django's life! Long story short, we were sold a very sick puppy that was never weaned from its mother. Dr. Ravi and his amazing staff spent an entire week nursing this poor guy back to health. He is a crazy little dude now that will remember Dr. Ravi and staff forever! I can't say thank you enough!!!
