The staff was nice and provided good service. Especially Kaitlyn. We were disappointed that our dog’s registration didn’t transfer from another location to this one so we had to do everything all over again.

Family emergency and needed a spot for the fluff ball. They called the vet, got her immunization record and were good to go, quick as a wink. Love these peeps❤❤❤

It was nice seeing the dogs play. We have a Pomsky that has separation anxiety, her first day she played nice and the trainers came down to her level to pet and hold her since she followed them everywhere. It was nice seeing her not being ignored then dealing with her issues by herself. Even though her tail was down she was not being ignored and she got along with the other dogs. Remember it was her first day. We like the fact they have 1/2 days since we work from home she can still have the separation.

Some people have rave reviews and I’m sure they had positive experiences here, unfortunately we did not. My dog’s 6 and has been going to daycare about once a week his whole life. Quite literally every public place he’s been in has had nothing but good things to say. From daycare and dog parks to restaurants. When the Dogtopia staff took my dog back for evaluation he seemed nervous. They said he snapped at another dog and I believe them even though he hasn’t done that before. I asked for more details but they weren’t interested in elaborating, explaining, or much else. Fortunately we found another facility and all seems well so far.

We tried out this facility and dropped off our dog for about two hours. We constantly watched the webcam to observe what was truly going on during doggy daycare and to monitor our dog. When receiving the tour of this facility, I was told the owner was gone for a few days, and he left his dogs behind at the facility. Where were the dogs, you might ask? In the playroom/doggy area, running around most of the day, like the customers' dogs? No - they were in a quiet, dark and air-conditioned office, snoozing away peacefully, on a dog bed, while all the other dogs were running around in a claustrophobic, busy and unclean room. If this doggy daycare place is so wonderful, then why doesn't the owner board his own dogs in the same conditions as his customers' dogs? Think about that... After testing out this facility for only an hour, my previously spunky, confident, young, and healthy dog was exhausted and had an eye injury that resulted in a pricy vet visit for antibiotics and care. And she was only in there for an hour, before I pulled her out. Imagine a whole day of that chaos! I truly wanted to like this place. I read all the positive reviews, but unfortunately, did not have that experience at all. I recommend for anyone reading this to carefully decide whether or not your dog would be happy or healthy in this environment. They prefer quantity over quality and I urge anyone reading this to consider another doggy daycare option. Issue #1 - CLOSE QUARTERS/ CHAOS - There was an extremely large number of dogs running around in a small room - around 30. It looked claustrophobic and stressful and the dogs standing and walking in circles, unsure of what do with themselves or how to navigate the room. There was no peace or dog bed or place a dog could rest or truly retreat from the situation and take a break from the constant stream of dogs. Issue #2 - HYGIENE There was one attendant working in the room and she was just mopping and mopping and mopping. How clean can that room really be with the same bucket of water? Issue #3 - LACK OF PERSONAL ATTENTION/CARE I found it unacceptable that there was just one person in a room with thirty dogs. I watched on video as some dogs, including ours, were uneasy and needed human comfort and reassurance, but were ignored by the attendant working in the room. Unfortunately, the room was so understaffed, all she had time for was cleaning! I observed on the video my poor dog kept going to the exit door or following the attendant around, desperate for a little acknowledgement. It was truly heartbreaking to watch my dog and others to go through this ordeal. Issue #4 - NO REAL SOCIALIZATION/HEALTHY STIMULATION/LEARNING OF MANNERS I thought that doggy daycare would improve and nurture a dog's social skills. After reading articles and observing it first-hand at this place, it's clear that this situation is not conducive to that at all. The room is small and packed with dogs, so there is no room to play or romp around without running into another dog. Dogs are like small children or even adults. We wouldn't like being expected to play and socialize in a packed room full of strangers.

My 2 large dogs LOVE Dogtopia. I love watching them on the webcams. My dogs run around and play all day. They’re so excited when I tell them they’re going to daycare. The best part is when they come home, they’re absolutely exhausted! It’s almost funny to see how tired they are. Dogtopia is also a great place if you want to board your dogs. Instead of sitting in a crate all day, they get to run around with their friends. The last time we boarded there, my girl got sick. Not sure where she got a bug (not from Dogtopia) but she started vomiting. Dogtopia called me right away. They took her to my vet and were also able to give her meds. They called me daily to update me with how my dog was doing. They were incredibly accommodating with her treatment and vet visit. I felt very sure she was someplace that was caring for her and looking out for her while I was away. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at Dogtopia. They’re fabulous!!

It would have been a 5 if they understood dogs don't need the dog flu shot. My dog could not play with others because of this.

Literally best experience with dog grooming ever. My husky came home without hair flying off everywhere for the next week. They're kind to the dogs and you can tell the dogs actually want to go there.

My dog loves going here! He practically jumps out the window when we pull up! I know he is having fun and is well taken care of and that has helped me tremendously after having to go back to work! Its also comforting to know that I can check up on him throughout the day if I wanted by looking at the live stream cameras :-)

Everyone was engaging with myself and my dog right off the bat. We felt very welcome! I was given a tour that covered everything but wasn't an overload of information. I let my dog stay for the whole day so I was able to watch her on their webcam which was so exciting! It was great to see her run around but also great to see how the other dogs were reacting. The humans in the room were constantly doing something: cleaning, blowing bubbles (dog safe of course), scratching dogs, filling water, so it was nice to know that my dog is in good hands. The place overall is extremely clean, modern and safe, which are top priorities. I can't wait to bring my dog back! I'm hopeful Dogtopia will give her the confidence to be less timid and more engaging with new dogs.

After a pretty lame experience at another doggy daycare facility in the area, I was nervous and skeptical of how we/our pointer would be treated at Dogtopia. From the second they answered the phone, to walking us through the interview, to how happy they are to see us pull up to daycare, we’ve been nothing but stoked. Without going on and on and sounding like a crazy dog mom, I’ll just say you won’t be disappointed by Dogtopia - Nimbus Winery location in Sac/Rancho. We LOVE this facility and the happy, helpful, passionate and friendly employees.

I’ve been using Dogtopia for the past 18-months for my two pups. The staff is great and my pups really enjoy going. It is nice that the staff is flexible, as my oldest isn’t a big crate guy, so he gets to sleep in the office and be an assistant while it is nap time.

We've been going to Dogtopia for daycare and boarding for awhile now (love it!) and yesterday we tried their groomer Jocelyn for the first time as we've been looking to establish with a new groomer and we could not be more happy with how our pup turned out! We're picky when it comes to grooming, and Jocelyn did such a fantastic job with our border collie. We've tried several groomers in the area and she's by far the best we've had. Thanks for the pristine trim and bath, he looks amazing! Thank you Jocelyn!

I would highly recommend Dogtopia. The staff is friendly and professional. Their rates are completely affordable and the app is a convenient way to book appointments, watch my dog through out the day on their cameras. My dog is so scared of people and use to fight me going inside. After a few visits she now runs inside with the staff without looking back at me. Such a great feeling to know my fur baby is in great hands and she is happy while I'm at work.
