OC Pom Rescue is the absolute best! I’m a current foster and can attest to the level of care and love all the pups get! They’re very dedicated to getting the perfect forever home for each dog, so don’t be disappointed if you don’t get a dog you’ve applied for, there may be future dog available that’s an better match. They’re searching for the best fit to make sure the dog has the best second chance at a loving happy life with their family!

If you are looking to adopt a Pomeranian, this is the place. I had the most wonderful experience adopting from this rescue. They really take care of their dogs and it shows. They keep all of the dogs in foster homes before they get adopted and get to know each one of their personalities so they can put them in the most compatible homes. They also have the cutest adoption events which make the love at first sight all the more special! I am now united with my forever companion and i'm so happy! Thank you OC Pom!

The OC Pom rescue placed us with our perfect Lannister, they asked us many questions, home check, they are very vigilant and aware of the adoptees forever homes. Also, they do this out of the goodness of their heart nonprofit organization. Since adopting Lannister I had become a foster parent for the rescue, and I love each and every moment of it.

Everyone at OC Pomeranian Rescue is in it for the benefit of the dogs. Whatever is best for the dog is what they receive from medical treatment, grooming, socialization skills, a healthy diet and, most of all, love. The quality of each dogs long term well being is the focus of everyone on this team of people who donate their own personal time to help dogs from a life that is way less than they deserve to a life that is healthy, happy and stable. Every person involved goes through an application process from volunteers, to fosters and the adopters. I am fostering a sweet little old guy named Baboo. He is a hospice foster and at his advanced age needs a bit of special care. I am never without support for him or for me. They cheer his successes and answer any questions or concerns I may have. The teamwork that go into rescuing dogs out of bad, sad and unhealthy situations is amazing. I’m grateful for every dog that gets rescued by this group of awesome people because I know without a doubt that the dogs will be better off and get the love and attention that they deserve.

This rescue has everything. Compassion, leaders, great team, resources, and the biggest hearts. I had the opportunity to volunteer with OC Pom Rescue and be a first time foster and the entire process was professional and well-organized! OC Pom Rescue definitely has a lot of experience and makes it a priority to ensure their dogs are vetted before allowing them to be adopted. In addition, they also ensure the fur babies are spayed/neutered, checked by vets, and experience some socialization and housebreaking prior to searching for their furever homes. OC Pom Rescue truly cares about their fur babies and genuinely want them to be happy and go to a loving home. Everyone on the team is lovely and great to work with. I fostered the sweetest girl and cannot wait to foster more with time!

Andy and I recently finalized our adoption of Pixie from the OC Pom Rescue, and we couldn’t have been happier with the process! They are truly an amazing organization to work with and support. They facilitated a very detailed and thoughtful adoption process. I worked with Karley, Pixie’s foster parent, and their founder, Jasmine. They are both amazing at what they do, and truly passionate about rescuing Poms! We were given a 7-day trial adoption period, which worked out great since we didn’t know how our 10-year old Pom, Bon Bon would react to getting a new sibling in the house. However, because Karley was so involved as a foster, our first week with Pixie was a true success! We knew that we were taking home a well-mannered adult Pom thanks to the detailed description that OC Pom Rescue provided in their posting for Pixie (Gypsy). Karley also geared us with a ton of information about Pixie’s behavior around other dogs and people from the very beginning. It’s been so great updating Jasmine and Karley on the new memories that we’ve made so far with Pixie! We highly recommend this rescue if you are interested in fostering, volunteering, donating or adopting a Pom! They are truly the best!

I started volunteering for OC Pom Rescue in November, and it has been my favorite place to volunteer. Whether it be transporting dogs to the vet or their foster home, it's been such a joy to see that the dogs are going in great hands. Some of these dogs have a sad and horrible past, but everyone works extremely hard to ensure they get the care they need. The founders and other volunteers are the sweetest people ever and work super hard. Everyone has such a big passion for saving these dogs so they can find their forever homes, and it is INSPIRATIONAL! OC Pom Rescue is the absolute best, and I highly recommend adopting a dog from them!! :)

OC Pom Rescue has made my experience with dog rescue overwhelmingly positive and educational. They are clear and transparent about their intentions, what they post online, and about how they handle donations. I think that these are insanely important qualities to have, considering many dog rescues masquerade as "nonprofits", but are not clear about where donations go, what dogs they have in their rescue, or even the trust status of their 501(c)(3). What really blows me away is their response rate. Any question at all, they are happy to answer it over email or Dm. I cannot possibly recommend them enough as a potential adopter or even as a potential volunteer.

Wow I love you guys. For about 6 months we kept submitting applications with different rescues, the communication was terrible and I was getting exhausted from the whole process, I came across OC Pom Rescue and were able to finally find the perfect new addition to our family. Jasmin is an AMAZING human being and very punctual, she made this process a breeze. As a volunteer for OC Pom Rescue, I can say without a doubt I absolutely love this rescue. Every volunteer pours their heart and soul into each and every dog. The fosters have been wonderful to work with and treat their rescue dogs just as they would their own. Each volunteer puts in the work with their various commitments, like transporting, writing, or fostering. The volunteers spend countless hours responding to EVERY single applicant via email and social media. All of the volunteers are so respectful and try their best to match each dog to the right home. Each dog gets several applications and, as a volunteer, it is a joy to work with applicants who are patient, kind, and respectful. As I have worked with OC Pom Rescue, I have met many wonderful people who love working with people and advocating for dogs. Such an amazing organization. The volunteers are extremely helpful finding the perfect match. They are constantly updating a list of available rescues online and on social media. Adoption paperwork is easy and everyone i’ve worked with has such a passion for animals.

OC POM Rescue is an absolutely fabulous rescue and I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking to foster or adopt! All of their volunteers/founders are so kind and helpful, and the entire team works around the clock to save as many dogs as possible.
