Great staff.Very understanding in a stressfull time.

I have been coming to CAH for a few years now at the recommendation of a friend. The doctors and staff are very helpful and provide loads of information about your pet's medical condition. They are also good with follow up.

I recently moved from the east coast with an older dog with heart issues. Dr. Carter and the wonderful staff made me feel at ease with their genuine concern and ability to answer my questions. I highly recommend them!

My 2 girls had some illnesses last month that were serious and scared me. We ended up seeing 3 different doctors as each doctor had a different day off. That did not effect their care in the least. All 3 doctors along with various techs went above and beyond keeping my girls well and me from having a nervous breakdown! Thank you Central for your continued care????

This is a caring, thoughtful, kind staff and I continue to enjoy visiting. Of course, I'd like it better if I wasn't lugging a yowling cat in a carrier, but if there was any way to alleviate that, I feel sure Central would do it. My cats have been patients (although not patient) since Matt Carter bought the firm in the early 2000s and I am grateful for their kindness during the hard times and painful decisions that are inevitable when you're a pet person.

Great vet! Ive brought both of my senior dogs here and the doctors and staff have been wonderful with them. My dogs actually like going here! We've gotten in quickly and the staff takes the time to listen to my concerns. They also thoroughly explain procedures and prices before doing anything. Highly recommend!!

I love the peeps at Central Animal Hospital. We moved to Petaluma 6 months ago and they were recommended to us by a friend. They have been wonderful to us. We had an older dog that was sick and we lost and the way they helped us through that process was so sweet and so sincere. I can't thank them enough for that. They are responsive and really good about following up. They will be our forever vets!

I brought our three cats for an annual wellness exam and vaccinations. I was impressed with the quality of care and professionalism. Dr. Carter, Dr. Atkin, and Jonathan were all great and we are happy to have a place to bring our pets now.

Courteous staff, ALL of the veterinarian's are kind & considerate to our pets, very knowledgeable too.

They are on time, quick, don't gouge you for tests that aren't necessary, but do make you aware that if problems don't resolve that then other tests may be necessary.

My new go to veterinary clinic!!!

A friend of a friend asked me to foster a dog they found on the street and I took her here for a check-up. They actually were able to track the microchip (another vet said they couldn't, humph) and reunite the cutie with her owners. They did do a check up but didn't charge me either. Kind folks here!

Central Animal Hospital has been wonderful with my little guy, sherman! All of the staff from the front desk, to the techs, to the doctors have been extremely thoughtful, gentle, and caring!

My doggie was sick and really unhappy. Dr. Lindsay put me at ease, took care of my dog and he is happy again. Rexi says "woof" two paws up.

When my cat was sick they got me an appointment the next day. Everyone was very nice and helpful. My kitty made a full recovery!

After our beloved vet retired I started bringing our labradoodle here. Great experience overall. Scheduling and communication and support staff excellent. Dr Helms knowledgeable, friendly, and has great bedside manner in handling my concerns. And very COVID friendly.

So sweet our dog loves going. So professional we always have complete confidence in their care.

We have been bringing both our cat and dog here for the past 2 years. The vets, technicians, and front desk staff are knowledgeable, organized, compassionate and truly care about our pets. The online pet store is easy and helpful when renewing medication. When we call with concerns regarding our pets, staff are able to answer all of our questions clearly and in a timely manner. We love Central Animal Hospital and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I really appreciate how fast Central Animal Hospital has been able to help when my little guy is sick. I got in the same day I called and several days after, one of the girls called to follow up and see how my boy is doing. Dr. Alman is great with explaining everything to me and making sure I truly understand how to best care for my boy. I highly recommend!

The staff is pleasant and helpful and friendly. I feel that the health of my dog, LuLu was important to them. I couldn't ask for more.

They took great care of my cat and respected every one of my wishes very compassionately and professionally. They were quick as the situation was urgent and ended up being reasonably priced. Very different than my experience with other highly rated vets in the North Bay.
