The in-store experience is usually always very good. This time though I was finally given the correct answers and information on my rewards, how not to keep losing them to expiration and how to get the most out of membership and the app - FINALLY!!

This is a review of the grooming service. We scheduled a grooming appt weeks in advance, and we were told upon arrival that dogs on medication cannot be groomed. There was no sort of notice of this policy, so we didn’t find out that our dog could not be groomed until we showed up. Now we can’t get our dog in to be groomed anywhere for weeks as everywhere is booked up. We called another Petco location, and they were unaware of such a “policy”. When we asked why this policy was not made clear upon booking the appointment, we were told it was to prevent customers from “lying” about their dog’s medication. We found this to be deceitful and no way to treat a customer. A policy like this needs to be transparent, especially one so arbitrary. They didn’t ask what medication our dog was on or why, and they claim any dog on any medication of any kind can’t be groomed. Terrible way to treat a customer, and we will not be going back to Petco again.

Petco just lost me as a customer. Cannot get my dog bathed and nails buffed here because he's on a simple digestion pill. What does that have to do with anything I am bringing my dog in for? Petco, some logical advise. If you can't handle any legal responsibility so you can never be blamed for an accident because accidents happen and customers understand that, then just go out of business.

I ordered my dog's food online for me to pick up at the Templeton store. I never received the email that said the order was ready to pick up. I went to my Petco account online to see the status of the order. It said my order was ready for pick up. Then I printed out the status. I took it to the store on a busy day so I could pick up what I'd already paid for. The young lady at the store got a cart & put the dog food in it. That was the only good thing that happened with the order.

Employees have gotten friendlier in this location over the past year or so. That is nice to finally see as I was one shopping trip away from gladly taking my business across town. ????

I went there because I'm a shopper on instacart. The employees there are beyond wonderful, they are so helpful and always in a good mood I'm going to be getting a kitten soon And I definitely will be shopping at this particular Petco when that happens!

While looking around the store we had a a very helpful employee talk with us. However, when we went to check out the cashier was very rude and talked to us like we were stupid and made us feel very uncomfortable. We will be taking our business elsewhere because of this encounter. Her attitude was very unprofessional and unnecessary.

I’d rather give no rating. Terrible service waited for 30 min went to find someone to help me. Associate was cleaning out an animal habit. I needed assistance besides the question I asked but none was offered. Someone who worked in the fish department could have been called to help me if you weren’t available.

It took about 30 minutes for someone to actually come and help me at the fish. Then the person helping was not helpful at all when I asked if there was anything else I would need. Then 1.5 hours later I am checking out and the person checking me out tells me I need to set everything up, run the water for the tank for about a week and then get the fish( which actually was helpful) the checkout lady was actually very helpful and helped me figure what I would and wouldn't need. But it would have been nice to get the info when I was asking and about an hour prior to that.

Good place. Knowledgeable staff. They seem a little understaffed sometimes but it's not the employees fault it is managements. Management should take care of the employees they have because they seem a little over worked. But still very pleasant and professional. All of them.
