The Long Leash has been the best find for our pets! We've been very lucky to have Leanne and Ari take care of our shy dog, Kenzie and two cats. If you're looking for consistent, compassionate care of your pets, you've found the right group. Leanne and Ari took their time to really gain our dog's trust and were great about communicating regarding scheduling, etc.

The Long Leash has been absolutely FANTASTIC. From the moment they met our dog, we knew they were going to take good care of her, and they've proven that they do time and time again. After each walk, they send us multiple (fantastic!) pictures of our dog and a detailed after-walk summary (including information about where they went, how they beat the heat if necessary, and whether she peed and/or pooped). After each walk, they refill her water bowl with fresh water. The dog walkers are also happy to feed her if we can't be home at dinnertime. They're extremely accommodating, too: if our plans change last minute, they're always happy to cancel, reschedule, or add a walk whenever we ask.

After trying several dog walking and cat sitting services, a friend recommended The Long Leash. Since then they have made a huge difference in the life of my pets. The long leash team is always flexible and accommodating, and they provide the most love and care for my pets!

If I can give 6 stars, I would. The ladies of the Long Leash, Leanne and Skye, encompass the definition of the dream dog walking service. The love and attention my dog, Lena, receives rivals that of a family member. Every day I get updates on her walk or hike. Reliably on time, the update includes multiple photographs by the dog walker that day, along with a description of the experience and what my dog was up to. If I need special attention or a last minute request, Leanne or Skye respond within minutes, even on a Saturday night! My dog struggles with separation anxiety, so it's comforting for me when I leave her at home daily, she's in good hands. When Lena has a moment, (usually redecorating my apartment with torn up papers or shredding the sofa) I get a full detailed report of Lena's 'artwork,' and in turn know what I have to take care of when I'm home. They even clean up the mess for me. I can't emphasize how important my dog is in my life, so having a service that helps me give her a daily love and care, is a game changer.

Leanne and her team are beyond fantastic! They have been a part of our lives, both human and dog, for a year and I can't imagine our year with out them. We have two, full of life, 10 year old Airedale terriers who bounce for joy when the Long Leash comes to our door. A major highlight of my day is the daily email with photos and updates on how our pups were on the walk and what they experienced. Leanne offered flexibility and accommodated all kinds of my requests, some last minute. They added days to our schedule when we needed extra care, they brought them to grooming appointments for us, and picked them up from appointments. We are traveling for the summer, but will pick back up with the Long Leash again in August. Most importantly for us, they genuinely LOVE our Lucy & Rufus and show it at every visit and through every email and communication. Our neighbor comment to me routinely at how happy the walkers are and what joy our dogs exhibit in their company. I could not give them higher praise, FIVE PAWS!

We absolutely love The Long Leash! All of the caretakers are extremely kind to our dogs, and when we traveled last summer, they even took care of a stray cat we feed as well as the birds. Amy from the Long Leash introduced our beagle, Zoe, to a brain game she brought over one day, and Zoe absolutely loves it. We bought one of our own! Leanne is a natural...we knew she would take great care of our pooches the first time we met her. Tracy is fantastic too. We don't know what we would do without The Long Leash.

So fortunate to meet Leanne and Skye. When we moved here we asked our Vet who we could trust to love and care for our Beagle as much as we do. He told us hands down it was The Long Leash. That was 6 months ago and it has been bliss ever since. Our little Sammy is walked twice a day, every day. Instructions are followed to the "t", we get pictures and comments for every walk and updates on where Sammy goes via GPS in real time! Cant say enough about this company...call them. I consider myself so lucky to have run into Melissa in front of our house right after we moved in. Her and Leanne came by to meet my dogs and cats a few days later, and I knew right away that I would entrust them with my pack. My dog Susie LOVES Leanne, who is usually the one coming by. Here are some more reasons why I love the Long Leash: - I get check-in and check-out emails every time they come by. The check-out email always contains a little message regarding the visit - which I LOVE to read. It makes me smile every time. - I foster homeless dogs on a regular basis, and Leanne is just wonderful with every single one of them, and will even take them on a walk. One of the fosters was a 12-year old scared chihuahua who would just shake when new people came into the house. Leanne would sit with her for a bit and kept her company. Another foster (now permanent dog) is rather suspicious of new people and barks uncontrollably. Leanne has incredible patience with him and knows how to handle his difficult personality. - I also have them take care of my 3 cats when my husband and I are out of town. We look forward to the daily report and know they are in the best hands. I highly recommend The Long Leash for your pets. They are very responsive, flexible, and work with my weekly changing schedule.
