Great place to take your pets, thorough exam and recommendations of what we could do to improve our cats health. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Great staff, very helpful. Definitely plan ahead and make your appointments early as this is a busy practice.

I have been a customer of Dr. Dalia Mathan's for over 20 years! I live out of the Paradise area now but still continue to come back with my animals regardless of the distance. Dr. Mathan is a master at her profession and Paradise is lucky to have Dr. Mathan and her services.

I love the Animal Hospital on the Ridge and the people there are great. Caring and thoughtful.

Started bringing my dog here for Chiropractic adjustments and laser treatments for back related issues. ALL of the staff are wonderful and very patient with him because he gets somewhat fearful at the vets office. The chiropractor they have is AMAZING, she has changed the way he feels 100%. I feel like I have my puppy back instead of watching him be in pain daily. I am more than willing to drive over an hr from our home to get his treatments done for him here and will continue to do so. Thank you all for providing such great care for him!

I have been bringing my animals here for a few years now. I have never had a bad experience. All of the staff and the dr. are all friendly. Never once have I ever felt like it was about money. Highly recommend.

Only place to trust to take you pet. They are caring, realistic, and will take care of your beloved pet. Thank you All, I hope Ruger will keep doing good for many more years, still praying for now, folks on yearly exam opt for blood work, I should have, may keep your pet out of harms way. Small price to pay to be assured your pet is healthy, Ruger has a kidney issue/disease now that might have been identified sooner if I'd of had that small test done during his yearly exam in July, now on pins and needles hoping it hasn't progressed too far. Thanks again everyone for caring.

We got right in at our schedeled time, the staff was attentive and engaged. My dog loves to go there, she loves all the people who work there. She is feeling so much better today and so am I that she got the help she needed. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Unfortunately I had a really bad experience here. I drove from Chico to bring my daughter's shelter cats back for their 1 year vaccines. The staff was plenty, yet not present and quite chaotic. Some were dismissive and disinterested in hearing our concerns. To top it off, they tried to charge me over 500$ for something I thought was partially converted by shelter. If I didn't raise the question. They would have. Most unapologetic.

My dog has significant joint and hip issues. Dr. Mathan and her staff go the extra mile to take care his physical problems and always make him feel safe when I take him in. Great staff and very knowledgeable veterinarian. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who loves their animals.

They are the best they treat your fur babies like their own we had are cat and dogs taken care of and our cat had surgery and they made sure they were treated great

I'm a new client with 2 dachshunds. My last vet retired after the campfire so I'm trying to get every aspect of my life in order again. The staff was pleasant and the facility was clean and up to date. The veterinarian and assistant were very informative and most importantly had a genuine concern for my dogs.

These guys are amazing! Going to the vet is a stressful experience for the animal and owner but Dr. Mathan and her crew are professional and they run a clean, organized facility. Their overall demeanor is very friendly and caring and it makes me sure my dog Buster is in the right hands. 100 percent recommended.

Best animal hospital in butte county

My sister went out of town for the week, and left me in charge of her dogs. A few days in to my duties as dog sitter, her baby dog "Chomper" injured himself and required emergency surgery to close a 4" long, 1.5" deep laceration on his chest. I rushed Chomper to three different veterinarian offices, and was promptly refused service at the first two because they "aren't taking new patients at this time" Animal hospital on the ridge was super accommodating to out needs, and was able to rush Chomper in for emergency surgery.

It's a challenge to find great professional services in our community after the Camp Fire, yet Animal Hospital on the Ridge provided just that. We arrived with our cat (a new patient) and were seen promptly, treated courteously and given the time to ask questions. Each member of the staff from the tech, to Dr. Apple, to receptionist impressed me (and that's not easy to do!).

I called the place the staff was knowledgeable answered all the questions I had.

Everyone is friendly and professional. They understand how much your pet means to you and they make sure your pet is very well cared for when they are in their care. Since my precious Tony passed away, animal hospital on the ridge has been taking care of me my new puppy T2 and my kitty Boots in the kindest most compassionate way. They never sell you what you don’t need, they give you everything you need plus friendship! They charge a fraction of the price that Chico vets do and the service is outstanding!!!! I feel like I have the best support for my pets.
