Upon the recommendation of a friend, I contacted Fetch to see about some occasional dog walking for our 3 year old Golden Retriever. Kathleen and Mandy came for a meet and greet with Rio. It was clear they both had great dog experience and Rio’s and my comfort in mind. They asked a lot of questions, made specific notes and their time and effort ensured Rio’s first visit and walk went as planned!

Kathleen and the team are phenomenal. They are professional, attentive to the fur-kids and conscientious about sending updates with each visit. They go above and beyond for the "kids" and have helped without hesitation when emergency visits have been needed. Great Team!!

My walker is very reliable. She comes at the same time every day. My dog loves it when she visits and gets good exercise on her walk! I can tell the walker cares about my dog. If a day gets above 80 she always brings water for her during the walk. I highly recommend.

Our cat caregiver is Kathleen and she is great. She sends pictures of our boys from every visit so we know she is taking good care of them. They’re quite shy so initially she had to look for them. Eventually they got to know her and now sometimes even come out to say hi on their own. Scheduling is quick and easy. Fetch was recommend to me by a neighbor and I couldn’t be happier with the service.

My dog was lost by a Fetch Pet Care sitter of Palm Desert the night before my wedding.  She was later hit by a car and died that night. If that wasn’t bad enough, Fetch delayed notifying me that my dog was lost, which I feel could have saved her life. The entire reason I needed a sitter was because my dog had separation anxiety and needed a person to be with her or she would sometimes open doors if left alone. As all of our family and friends whom we normally trust with our dogs were a part of the wedding, I found Fetch Pet Care Palm Desert, who had a service specifically for hotel pet sitting. After I disclosed my dogs history on an online application and then in a detailed phone consultation, Fetch matched us with a sitter we were told was experienced and capable of handling my dogs situation. That night of my rehearsal dinner, I reminded the sitter about my dogs anxiety and gave her specific instructions to never leave Mickey alone. My mother even told her multiple times to even be cautious when using the restroom as it was out of sight from the door. I still don’t understand how she got loose, and why the sitter neglected our basic instructions and wasn’t watching our dog. My dog had never opened a door when someone was with her, even if in the restroom as she does not have thumbs to just open a heavy hotel door on her own. In fact, our dog was lost within 20 minutes of us leaving her with the Fetch sitter. When the sitter finally calls us to tell us she lost our dog, I rush out of our rehearsal dinner and after 2 hrs of desperately searching, I am told my dog is hit by a car near the hotel.  We rush to the only vet open at that time but my girl was gone. Based on cell phone records, what the owner of Fetch Palm Desert details in an email, that was filled with inconsistencies, and a worker at the hotel, we know that our dog got out at 630pm, but I wasn’t called until 709pm. Time wasted where we and our 40 guests could have started searching since our rehearsal dinner was only 5 min away.  The worker at the hotel who tried to help secure our dog even urged the sitter to call me during this time.  She refused.  I'm shocked that immediate report of a loss wasn’t the procedure for Fetch and a professional pet sitter didn’t know to do this. Instead, the sitter waited over 35 minutes to call. This tragedy happened Dec 21, 2017, but I believe other pet owners would want to know, as I would, if something like this happened with a pet care company a year ago or last week if considering to use their services. I understand this was a tragedy, but in my opinion it was complete negligence for a professional pet care company knowing our dogs capabilities and given explicit instructions to never leave her alone.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Fetch!!!!!! LOVE Kathleen!!!! we travel between San Diego and Palm Springs a couple times a month. We have a terrier mix and a (freak) labordoodle. Very demanding dog to care for. If you own one then you know what I mean. Put it this way......If the color of the dog food is off...the dog will loose all its hair from stress! haha maybe not that bad but both my dogs love Kathleen. I have found Fetch has gone above and beyond in every way possible. No reason to look elsewhere. Thank You and keep up the good work.

I have been dealing with Fetch since the death of my dog. The night before our wedding Fetch lost our dog, who was later hit by a car and died. My wife wrote a detailed review about the incident, and the first response by the owner of Fetch was to send an email with threats of getting attorneys involved because my wife shared her experience. Then, Fetch tried to publicly deny what happened and discredit my wife by saying what she wrote was "completely false allegations from a distraught woman” and even tried to blame my dog and lie about having statements from my own friends and family, all of whom I personally confirmed never even spoke to Fetch. In sharing my own experience with Fetch, I can assure you everything my wife wrote happened exactly as explained. Fetch would continue to lie saying I never asked them what happened that night, however I have an email from the owner the day after the incident confirming the timeline of events. According to the email Fetch sent me, not only did the sitter wait 35 minutes to finally notify us that our dog was lost, but sitter actually followed her for 10 minutes with her in sight when she could have called us to get her since we said we were only 5 minutes away at the rehearsal dinner. Now, in efforts to minimize fault, Fetch says they didnt know about my dogs capabilities. Not only does Fetch have an application with our dogs history I completed with my wife, but Fetch called wanting more specific info about it before assigning a sitter. Furthermore, according to Fetch, one of their precautions is to meet the dog for a free consultation. At no point did Fetch offer to have the sitter meet our dog prior to the night of the incident. Lastly, I filed a claim with Fetch’s insurance, which was also an aggravating process, because I thought at least our tragedy could help other animals in need. Any compensation received was donated to various animal rescues and charities. Yet, Fetch tried to bring up compensation in their responses, as if that was all my family cared about. The owner of this Fetch removed her legal threats a month later and has edited her response to seem apologetic and considerate. I can assure you this was never my experience with them. Her attempt to save face now is telling of her character as a business owner of a pet care company.

I have loved working with Kathleen and her team (and felt this way since the very first email response I received, just minutes after sending an intro message) for the past few months. 100% professional, and a truly dedicated and caring experience from start to finish of each visit. Not only do I trust the Fetch! team with caring for my fur babies like they're their own, I have the added bonus of feeling like my home is well-cared for. Bringing in the mail, watering plants, making sure all doors and windows are locked; this is just the tip of the iceberg of what this team does in their commitment to excellent client service. I receive consistent texts confirming visits, and the photos and personalized videos of my pets are not only adorable, but totally put my mind at ease when I'm far away from them. It's as though Kathleen and her team can read my mind, and know just how to calm my fears about leaving my pets at home. I tried other pet-care services in the Coachella Valley, and simply wasn't satisfied with the quality of the care my animals and my home received. With Fetch!, my expectations are exceeded every single time I hire them. I gladly and wholeheartedly recommend Fetch!

I was very nervous to use a pet sitting company that I've never used before but Fetch was a wonderful surprise!!! Spoke w/Kathleen on the phone...very professional, made an appointment to come to my home & meet the dogs. Casey came with her who actually did the pet sitting. My dogs instantly loved Casey! Fetch not only took great care of my dogs...I now have peace of mind knowing that I can travel out of town and my dogs are happy & safe. Highly recommend ????

I recently moved to Palm Desert and travel quite a bit for work. When I reached out to Kathleen I immediately knew from our phone call that my two cats would be in good hands! Excellent above and beyond service. I have 2 dogs, 4 cats and a fish and reptile collection that is a handful.
