I've been coming here for over 20 years Great staff, excellent doctors - compassionate, considerate and very helpful. All of my dogs have received excellent preventative care and diagnoses here.

Dr. Choi is amazing!! I love this place because they are very thorough and reasonably priced. My kitties go here and they are treated very well. I highly recommend Pacifica Pet Hospital.

We live in San Francisco and a friend once told us that if she had a car, that was where she’d take her pup. We’ve been with them since 2005. All three dogs have been patients there and we’ve continued to refer others there as well. Grateful for their practice.

My dogs seem very comfortable with their visits. A bit pricey but can you really put a price on your doggy family? ????

So today our dog had suffered some sort of acute leg injury while out playing ball. Knowing she is 6 months post op for knee surgery i feared the worse. After getting a staff member on the phone to explain our issue she put me on hold only to return and tell me they had no record of such procedure ??? REALLY they dont do that type of surgery there. At any rate I have used that Vet for a very long time and have see it steadily decline over recent time in all areas front desk, technical, you name it . I am done with them and really dont know how they are still in buisness. Will be going somewhere else in the future.

I've taken my two Polish rabbits (Momo & Mochi) , my netherland dwarf rabbit Duncan, and my chinchilla Taro to see Dr. Hurlbut at this hospital. My rabbits came here often for annual check ups, and nail trims. My chinchilla was very ill one day so Dr. Hurlbut prescribed me the meds to get her well again. He called me to update me about Taro's treatment and he even asked a friend of his who is also an exotics specialist for a second opinion on Taro's treatment as well. Thank you Dr. Hurlbut for treating all my pets and being their doctor. Unfortunately, I can no longer take my pets to see Dr. Hurlbut since I moved across country. But for any future customers that have exotic pets, I would highly recommend you to see Dr. Hurlbut because he's honest and doesn't overcharge for any unnecessary exams and truly cares about your pet and their overall health.

Would NOT recommend- Bad experience after bad experience- 1- Called with a pet emergency- receptionist advised to call back in 3 days when a doctor would be free??? 2- Took our dog in for last round of vaccinations- came back a month later for a pre-spay check up and they advised that they didn't write down the vaccination history correctly and/or didn't charge us for all vaccinations- so have no idea if they indeed gave our dog the write vaccine???? 3- Our dog had a mass on her head- Both doctors reviewed- NO guesses- no insights- no help at all 4- We ended up switching vets!!!! Which was a must!- Had the masses removed from her head- trying to submit medical history to our pet insurance company- our insurance company called 3 times and I have called twice- Pacific Pet Hospital has still NOT forwarded our dog's medical history (which was only 3 months with them- since their service was so awful)- completely unacceptable to not have the capabilities of generating our dog's medical file to our insurance company. DO NOT use this vet for any reasons! Numerous other vets on the Coast to choose from. DO NOT TRUST or Recommend this Vet!!!!!

They are so nice, knowledgable and full service. And they understand cats get scared.

It was great. I liked the way my pet was given the attention and the staff gave me all the details about what my pet needed.

Always exspensive. But good service. But it's hard to get outta there for under a 100.

Dr. Choi has been an excellent vet to all of my animals over the years. He's patient and really cares about your pet. I would definitely recommend him and Pacifica Pet Hospital!

Truly caring vet office. They are not out here to try to make money of you, they really just care about animals and finding the best solution for your pet. I drive all the way from SF to go here, even with a vet literally across the street from my home (and I dont have a car) because Pacifica Pet Hospital's care is that superior. Yall are the best!

My 15 year old dog had severe dental disease and needed 16 teeth pulled. They took such good care of her. I truly appreciate everyone who works here.

Good for routine vaccines and checks. When our pet became quite ill they made it sound like an inconvenience to get him seen and then were unable to figure out what was wrong and weren't able to look into it more or perhaps were simply too busy to care. Our pet did pass away later that day after we finally found a vet elsewhere who could help us, but it was just too late by that point.

Loved the staff. All seemed so very caring and patient. Tiny waiting room but the other customers were all friendly and while it did smell like a vet office it wasn't as bad as some. The veterinarian offered several different options for my older cat without being pushy. I found them trustworthy and will return with my other cat.

Service was excellent, they were very graceful when handling my cat. The room was nice and clean. It was a good and calm experience for him which is amazing. The provided excellent services and were very hospitable and approachable.

My father was a veterinarian, and I worked for him as a teen. Since moving to the Bay Area, finding a veterinarian that is as good as my father has been impossible, until I started going to Pacifica Pet. Don't tell him I said so though! But seriously, diagnostic skills seem good, they discuss treatment options fully, they are realistic about what people may be able to afford or not, and they understand and handle animals really well. Maybe this would seem like a requirement, but not all vets are good with every type of animal. The best ones genuinely love them all and understand their behavior. I would not take my cat to anyone else but these folks.
