Needed someone to look at our dog. Our regular Vet couldn't help us so we went here. Glad we did, they are great. Said that they were very busy but took us in anyway. Will go here again no need to run to Chico.

I had the worse experienced in my life , never had such a bad service in a vet like with this corporation. They don’t know what they are doing as animal health service , they only know how to get money from you. I took my dog when she was really sick and they had made many ‘mistakes ‘ , for example they told me the regular fever in dogs is 99 degree (just google it , is not!), they charged me for an more expensive medicine that the one had been prescribed for the Doctor , they trying to charge me more hours than the hours that my dogs was there , etc ... they didn’t abused of me taking advance of my vulnerable moment . I hope nobody else more have to go thought what we went thought with this Company , they only make business and don’t care about your pet health at all . Please people take care of your pet and don’t exposed them to this people treatment, they are not professionals, they are rude and they care how to make money more than help your pet.

My dog has Addison's disease and after my last vet refused to work with me on her treatment, I found Dr. Duran. He is kind and compassionate and very knowledgeable. He also makes me feel like we are a team when it comes to my dog's care, rather than just an owner. He is now helping me treat a CCL tear in my other dog and I honestly can not recommend him highly enough

We just wanted to thank the staff and Dr Duran for all you did for our maincoon kitten. Your love and compassion was very appreciated ❤ Thank you for never giving up and for trying everything to save him. Unfortunately our baby ASLAN didn't make it. But without this office I don't know what we would have done. No other vet office would have donevwhat you guys did. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts also we were charge minimum fees for all the care they gave. Money well spent

Very caring and thoughtful in my time of pain

Dr Duran is the best vet in area. My cat has systemic lupus and a parasite that was killing him. Dr Duran took my kitties case personal and we stayed in contact daily. He personally calls me daily to check on him. I thank God that he sent Dr Duran!!!

2 of my daughter's cats became poisoned and one had to be put down. The cost was roughly 2,400.00. It is a very expensive place and I had to get Care credit to help pay for it. The Vet is nice, and so were the vet techs. Saving one cat was a miracle. The only negative thing I can say about this place, is the prices. Costly.

We had been taking our 2 dogs here for years and they were great (we loved Dr paul Dent) but it really depends on which vet you see. After our last appointment I will never bring an animal back to this place. We took our dog in for a back issue, she has been diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease in the past and the Dr came out and told us she has a lump in her chest, he said "it's probably CANCER" umm excuse me aren't you a Dr. Shouldn't you confirm this with a test ? He told us if it was cancer that it's too advanced to do anything and we should just take her home and let her live out her natural life. Then he sent us home with 2 weeks of pain reliever/anti-inflammatory for her back basically ibuprofen for dogs. By the way all they did was a visual examination and an x-ray. We were devastated, we took her to another vet for a second opinion as the diagnosis just didn't make sense to us , how do you confirm cancer with just an x-ray no untrasound, MRI or blood work? Also our dog had her annual checkup 6 months before and she was perfectly fine. Thank God we took her for a second opinion!!!!!!!!! The second vet did an ultrasound and a complete blood panel, she couldn't find a mass!!!! That's right there was NO CANCER!!!!! Our dog had a herniated disc and her hemoglobin level was low. We got multiple medications to give her and within days she was eating better and running around. We did a follow up apt with the new vet a couple weeks later and her hemoglobin levels had increased. Thank goodness we didn't listen to Dr. Julio Duran!!!!!! After reading through reviews it looks like we are not the only ones he did this to. If you want my opinion DO NOT LET Dr Duran anywhere near your dog!

We have been going to butte oroville vetrenary hospital since we moved here in 1989. We have always been treated with kindness and have had excellent care with our pets. I would recommend this animal hospital to anyone looking for an animal hospital. Doctor doran

Due to Covid-19 I am unable, as a new patient, to observe the interior of the facility. They are prompt in coming to your vehicle and speaking with you about your animal. The veterinarian even takes time to speak with you at your vehicle. The pricing for the services I have received are reasonable. I feel comfortable in taking all nine of my animals for procedures to their hospital.

This clinic is my go to clinic for my Chihuahua. They took good care of her... They took good care of me too as she took her last breath in my arms... ????????????????. Now I take Our two ???? ????'s as well.... Small piece of advice.. Ask to see the plan or procedure sheet that is created in exam room... I found items/meds that we thought were not necessary...Made a big difference in $$ amount for service rendered.. Still rate them ***** on services and care... Great staff.. ????????????????????????

Love their system for treating animals since outbreak started

The best in Oroville! I have 3 pugs and Arthur is so wonderful with them! The vets were also very compassionate when I had to put my 17 year old pekinese down. A very hard day to get through, but they walked me through the process and made it bearable.

They have a very nice crew

I've been taking my pets to Dr dent for long time

I took my nephew here when his cat got hit by a car.. Isn't the name "Veterinary Hospital"? We were told that there was no Vet there. They would rather your pets die if they can't make a buck!

Vet and staff are always more than good to me. I've been using them for nearly 5 years.

Everyone was really nice. Kind of hard to get some one to answer the phone. You do need an appointment, no walk ins.
