Very helpful, very organized waiting moves right along. I've had more than 25 dogs and cat go through there and have nothing but good to say about paws in Oroville, thank you everyone at paws , wonderful hard working people

I wanted to get my female dog spayed. I made an appt at another vet but it would be over two months before they could do the surgery. I was leaving messages at other places including PAWS where I had my male dog neutered. I had left a message and they called me in two days. They said there was an opening that same day if I could get my dog there. I drove to the clinic and they took her in right away. My dog is a service animal. She's small, weighs 11lbs and I've always been nervous about her going under anesthetic. I was there early to get her and everything went well. I was very happy with the way it all went. No waiting for months and it doesn't cost as much as most of the other places I had called. They were very nice and I felt at ease about leaving her. My dog is a drama queen and when we got home she was still out of it but next day she hammed it up. She recovered from surgery in a week. She's seems happier since and I'm very grateful for it. I would recommend this place to pet owners. They did a heartworm test on her as I asked. I order heartworm online and she needs a yearly test for a new prescription. The company I order her meds from were able to confirm both her and my other dogs negative tests right away so I could have their heartworm preventative shipped to me. I'm also new to Butte county and it was easy for the county to get confirmation that my male had been given rabies vaccination to get his licence. I like the people who work there. They care about animals and it shows.

My go to for dog and kitty needs. Friendly staff. Inexpensive and they don't do anything without your permission. Other places I've taken my critters, mostly for profit vets, seem to add on procedures that were never mentioned until you pay your bill.

VERY BAD experience here! They appear to focus on grooming, not veterinary care. I took sick dog(throwing up blood) as a walk in at 9:30 am. Checked in, she had to tell me it could be hours before seen, but likely won't be long as only one walk-in ahead of me. Nearly all the activity I saw was for grooming. Every couple of hours I checked in (had to wait outside) but still "could not fit me in." 2 pm my dog threw up all over me (staff knew). By 3pm I was about to give up, asked about next available appointment. Was told they likely could see me the end of the day 4:30, so I waited. 4:30 she asked the (only 1) doctor, and I was denied (I was never told I might not be seen at all). I pleaded for at least 1 minute advice from the vet...just how serious this is, was denied again. Unbelievable, especially that they would prioritize grooming (with appointments) over a very sick dog. Run, don't walk, to ANY other clinic!

I have been going to PAWS ???? for awhile now and they have helped save the lives of my animals ❤ that would have died without there care! They care as much about our pets as they do for us because I feel that instead of turning people away they find a way to work with you. They know that we care for our animals as much as those with plenty of money, I wish I knew about them even sooner because a few of my furbabies would probably still be here.

The young vet, Travis, was so patient and compassionate with us because he knew it was so difficult to have our dog put down. He commended us for not waiting until Elsie was in pain. The cost was less than half of other veterinarians.

Poor staffing and no appointments are really made. They tell everyone to come at one time

Amanda was such a caring person and took wonderful care of my dog. I would recommend her to everyone. She is that good.

They offer a valuable voucher for veterans to have their pets spayed or neutered I have called then on many times trying to get appointments to get two rescued cats spayed and neutered left messages spoke to somebody was but on the list never got a call back tried it again no luck so I couldn't tell you whether they actually perform the service over there or not they say they do but I know they do have an awesome program for helping people with affording to have procedures done on their pets.

They tried charging me to get my dog spayed even when she was spayed there a year ago. On the same visit we were the first ones there and the last ones to leave for the clinic on Wednesdays and all we were getting was a rabies shot

We were on a waiting list for a short period of time. Employees were terrific. Would recommend them to any pet owner. Thank you.

For me the wait was worth it! Just be prepared for the wait time. I was looking for affordable vaccines for my 2 dogs and this place was able to meet my financial needs! I called before going and they prepared me ahead of time letting me know it was a walk in clinic (no appointments for vaccines, however they do offer appointments for exams), They also warned me there could be a long wait so I knew what I was in for. I filled out the paperwork and had it turned in about 10:00am, I chose to wait in my car with my 2 dogs, they called us back about 12:00, they took 1 dog at a time and were understanding of their needs and the actual vaccinations were very quick. We paid and we're on our way home by 12:30pm.

Great place to take your fur baby's, I like that you can make payment to them . Don't have to pay full bill all at once.????????????????
