Didn't even go just called to see about a check up and flea meds and lady just sounded rude. No thanks maybe just me but don't like when people seem like that. Hope others have better luck.

Called & told them our cat was extremely sick. They could not get her in & she died a couple hours later. Very few vets seem to care if there is an emergency anymore!

This is a long story involving three different cats who became ill over the course of 30 days, and the three different veterinarians I took them to for treatment. In the end, Three Hearts is the clinic I will come back to every time. The first cat I took to Animal Hospital on the Ridge. The vet did not treat him because she didn’t see him exhibit any symptoms—despite her saying she saw spots on the back of his throat indicative of Feline herpes and despite showing her several videos of him gagging and wheezing from the week prior. She took no diagnostic tests and I was ultimately sent home. The exam cost $75. The second cat needed to go to VCA Valley Oak because he was having an emergency urinary tract blockage. He needed a urinalysis. The vet also recommended an x-ray and quoted me around $300 for it, which I declined. He was diagnosed with FLUTD and was sent home with two prescriptions. The entire treatment cost me $334. Finally cat number three rapidly became very ill over the course of a night. Interestingly, he started showing the same, though more severe, symptoms that number one originally had. I called 11 different vets and Three Hearts were the ones that could get him seen the soonest—only 5 days after his illness began. I cannot say enough about Three Hearts. From that very first phone call, I was treated with nothing but compassion and care. The receptionist heard me speak about my cat’s lethargy, vomiting, and wheezing, and she put us on a priority list. If someone canceled, I would be one of the first clients called in. During the exam, I explained my cat’s symptoms and Dr Wentz listened attentively, asked me questions, watched a video of his wheezing, and began a physical. She was especially concerned because his symptoms didn’t lend themselves to a simple diagnosis. This didn’t look like feline herpes, but it was definitely an infection of some sort. Especially considering it was obviously contagious. Onto diagnostics! He was given x-rays, blood work, a urinalysis, and an anti-nausea injection to ensure he could keep food down. She set me up with a follow up in a week and told me they would call with the results soon. The exam cost me $59, the x-rays were $293, the urinalysis and blood panel were $275 together, and the meds were $54. This sounds expensive, but the exam price was actually the lowest of all three clinics and the treatments were the same or lower when compared to VCA. I will end my review by saying that I have a serious anxiety disorder and once I got to the clinic, I began to have a severe panic attack. The staff was so kind and respectful towards me. I was offered a bottle of water and allowed the space to breathe without being gawked at. I want to thank Three Hearts Veterinary Hospital for not only treating my pet with the utmost care, but also for allowing me to keep my dignity during a horrific and embarrassing personal experience.

We were looking for a Vet that would do an exam for our rescue and every where in Chico was booked months out in advance. I was referred to this place and honestly it’s worth the 30 minute commute. We called and got an exam within the week. We’ve been seen at multiple vets within the Chico area prior and haven’t had a prompt and attentive care as we did here. We also got the kitten package that covers all the shots and exam needed. Prices here are very reasonable. I would recommend Three Hearts Vet to anyone in the Butte area!

DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY & SEND YOU HOME. I had me get 3 sets of x-rays taken here all in one week, &then told me she was fine. The next day her stomach was extremely swollen so bad & she kept vomiting so I took her in here to 3Hearts again.... (*big mistake*) They told me to get more x-rays where they said they seen nothing & sent me home with medications. All the money I spent at this place was down the drain, they were absolutely useless. Hundreds of dollars spent here for nothing. I wish I never would of went back there in the first place. At home, I could tell she wasn't ok so I took her to Valley Oak Hospital in chico that same night. They took only 1 set of x-rays & told me she's too sick to be at home, she needed to be hospitalized immediately to get vitals. She actually needed emergency surgery for a hernia that was blocking her passage ways. SPEND YOUR MONEY AT A GOOD VET. NOT ONE THAT SCAMS YOU & SENDS YOU HOME. YOUR PETS LIFE DEPENDS UPON IT.

This place is pretty awesome you can drop off your pets in the back at least until the covid-19 teen is over and they'll take all the Pepsi half so one person can take three or four patch there and I'll come out and get them I thought that was pretty awesome then a doctor tells you what's wrong or what's good about your pet when you leave

Hands down, Dr. Wentz is the best Veterinarian I've ever taken my pet to and I'll only go to her. She's very up to date with the newer treatment options available for animals, she had that hospital built from the ground up with state of the art equipment & an in house pharmacy. She's kind, patient, explains EVERYTHING to you, there's no hidden costs and she clearly cares & unlike some Vets, Dr. Wentz is not in this business for the money. I found out May 2020 my pet I take to her is terminally ill. Dr. Wentz is an excellent veterinarian. I can't say enough great things about this lady. I just moved out of California this week and I can only hope to find a new veterinarian that was as kind and compassionate to my pets as Dr. Wentz was.

Thought this place was good. Took my mainecoon in cuz he was sick. Miss diagnosed him and never gave a follow up. My baby got worse. He was dying and they wouldn't see him or give us nothing for pain. Just told us to take him to yuba city. He passed away! He was only 9 mos old! Very upset and heartbroken!!!!

First visit. Clovis-19 safe. They met us outside and contacted us throughout our dog's visit by phone. I want the best care for my new pet. Not knowing her history having chosen her from NW SPCA, we will do what is best for the dog and take our new veterinarian's advice.
