Dr's and staff friendly and helpful been going here for long time

I’ve been taking my senior dog here for years. Unfortunately, I have to find a view veterinarian because they never have any appointments available for semi-urgent care needs. My dog gets bladder infections. She’s 14 in a breed with a life expectancy of 12. It happens every year or so. She doesn’t drink enough water. I’m told by reception that the doctor will not prescribe without an office visit AND they don’t have any openings for a week. AND they won’t prescribe antibiotics in the meantime so she’s not in pain. Then I speak to the doctor and get a long explanation of why they need to run a battery of tests and take X-rays in case it’s something very bad. Despite basic antibiotics having cured it within a day in the past. Enough! I’ve spent several thousand dollars there over the past few years. I guess a new vet will get my senior dog money.

The Doctor and staff were outstanding. Thank you for helping me with our Mimi. She is exploring and mingling with us everyday. Thanks to all.

Great Docs and staff.... Way overboard on their covid precautions. Should reconsider making customers kids or in my case grandkids stay outside until you see or pass off your pet to a tech. Made me very nervous because I'm a retired cop resulting in me being very much a helicopter grandparent. Maybe just me but plenty of room for social distancing in waiting room.

This place was very accommodating and able to get me scheduled very quickly. I once called with concern for a symptom my dog was having and they helped me over the phone and even offered to see him then and there which was amazing! The staff is friendly and helpful and I could tell they really cared about the well-being of my pet as if it was their own ❤️

This Vet is alright been taking my dog here for a year for her skin allergy and they just assumed it was skin allergy without testing my dog to see what her allergies were. They started giving her allergy shots every 4-6 weeks but those only help for like a week and then her skin is back to itchy and dry, you would think they would try something else after a dog doesn’t get better after a year. Very nice staff just feel they couldve been more proactive in finding a solution for her skin.

Great for boarding but got several things wrong.

I think these folks are pretty good. Getting a vet appt is super hard (at least 7-10 days in advance), but they seem thorough about figuring out why something is happening. Still super expensive, but better than VCA Greenback and less of a wait to get an appt.

I want to thank Dr. Hermann and all the excellent, caring staff for the excellent care and compassion that they have given to us and our two little Chihuahuas. It is because of their obvious love of animals that keeps us coming back. Thank you so much! Lisa and Mike

Friendly, helpful. They are doing a good job with the pandemic restrictions that are plaguing us all. Our was a difficult visit, we learned our fur baby was very sick. They gave all the facts and helped as best they could.

Procedures antiquated missed a diagnosis of ringworm.

Dr.Neri and the team looked after my sick pup with kindness. He's usually pretty anxious but he was very relaxed with their staff. I am making this clinic our primary because of their service.

This vet is a game changer. I feel absolutely comfortable here and appreciate the staff so much. They have been great with my pitbull boxer who has skin cancer. I very much love Dr. Herman and highly recommend him!

VCA is the best Veterinarian service in Sacramento.

Great vet and staff was wonderful, was able to see us the same day. And just as important, VERY HONEST AND REASONABLE! Unlike other places in town.???? oh and a great goodie bag????
