My cat was sick. I was super nervous, my cat has never been sick and I didn’t know what to do. The staff was super nice, very friendly and very loving to my cat. The doctor was so gentle to my Jerry. They made a difficult experience so much easier for me.

I am full of gratitude for this vet hospital. During one of the most stressful times of my life, my dog Apollo became super sick and I began to think this would be the last time I would see him. When we transferred him to VCA Ontario, the first vet specialist who saw him brought me so much comfort and gave me hope. There were many who helped Apollo and I cant thank you all enough. You guys saved my dogs life and I couldn't have been happier to have him home for christmas. Since I have moved you all have been the most helpful and caring people. I no longer live in southern california but I highly recommend this place for emergency pet services!

I had a terrible experience at this clinic. The employees were very rude, insensitive, and did not help me or my pet cat. They sent my cat home even though he was not okay and needed more treatment. Now I am over here paying more bills and going to another vet trying to fix what they started. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT take your animal here.

Poor treatment by front desk staff. Ridiculous wait times. Told 3 to 4 hour wait when I checked in. Not seen at 5 1/2 hours. Worst vet experience

After an hour and 40min drive from the desert to find a skilled surgeon Dr. Nucci was able to save my dogs life. his skill, expertise ,compassion and communication was amazing. He never let me down keeping in touch with me after a very serious surgery. I agree with others the front office staff needs more training. Anyway my dog is doing fine, Dr. Nucci you are a rock star.

The people at this hospital are amazing. We took our cat there because he was not feeling well. We saw so much compassion in such a difficult and busy work environment. Staff gave us water for our kitty and even some litter so he could use the restroom while we waited. The doctors and technicians were very helpful and answered our questions. He stayed overnight the doctor called us with updates in the morning and kept us informed as he got care. A really great experience and a resource I'm happy to have in the community. Thank you all for your help!

Thank you so much to the staff at VCA that took my baby negra in, she had fluid in her abdomen and they were able to remove it. Very kind, and communicative, not demanding in sending in diagnostics or upselling like other emergency vets, it was also her birthday today and although she spent it sleeping, she wasn't in discomfort, and she can enjoy her birthday cake for another day. thank you!

Drove to location at 4:00 a.m. No patients inside, but informed of 4 to 5 hour wait. They answer the phone, but direct you to other locations, so not reliable in urgent situations.

We had just made an agonizing decision the day before having to put one of our dogs down when she became paralyzed and lost all nerve sensation in her legs and could not stand up anymore. The following day our other dog, Charlie became quite ill throwing up every 20 mins through the night. I called every 24 hr vet clinic within 20 miles of me and was turned down by all of them stating they were at capacity. I live in OC and the only place that could take him was VCA Ontario. I called as we pulled up the night of 7/28/21, it was a very rough ride as his breathing was labored and he continued to throw up. Immediately we were met by two technicians and a gurney to help us get Charlie out of the car. They took him back and started treating him immediately. The vet on duty came in to talk to us and gave us a run down on what to expect and our options which I much appreciated. We decided he would need several days of antibiotics to treat his aspiration pneumonia and was also found to have mega-esophagus. The following day Dr. Peterson contacted me several times to give me updates and request permission for what she thought was needed. She was absolutely fabulous! We must have spoken at least 4 or 5 times that day and made a plan. I know she spent a lot of time with Charlie and I am so appreciative of her. She knew we just lost our other dog two days before and was so very sensitive, professional and compassionate. We were planning to go see Charlie the following morning but we received a call around midnight that evening that Charlie had passed away. We drove to Ontario to see him as soon as we got off the phone. It was devastating to lose two dogs within two days of each other after having them for over 10 yrs. The staff was absolutely amazing from the receptionists at the front desk, to the technicians and the veterinarians that we came in contact with. Every single person was awesome. We knew Charlie was in good hands when we left him the night before. Unfortunately he was too ill with complications to survive. I truly want to thank all the staff for showing us such compassion at a very difficult time for us. It is very evident that they are all animal lovers! Keep up that compassionate way you care for the animals and their families VCA Ontario, you are all great at what you do!

If you want a puppy you found with severe injuries to get no emergency care, then this is the place to bring said puppy. Would not recommend to animal lovers or just anyone with common sense of helping an injured animal. I called asking if they could help me, they asked if I own the puppy and I said no, well they turned me down simply because I wasn't owner of the pup. Next time just tell me to f off and I will probably be less angry.

They saved my dog Remi's life! She is a german shepherd husky mix and is 7 months old. My poor dog got into some commercial grade pesticide and when I got home from work I saw her laying on the ground foaming at the mouth and convulsing. When i checked my cameras From the time she got into the poison to when I got home from work the convulsions were for hours. i was told by a previous vet that there was no antidote and she would have organ failure and probably wouldn't make it...we then drove her over to vca in Ontario...the doctor that helped us was amazing Dr.Aaron was so helpful and very confident in her work. Pricing was fair. Our dog got seen by them immediately around 9pm she stayed until about 2am I got a call she was ready to come home. To see her having her head up and alert and not convulsing was a miracle! Here we are two days later and she is 100 percent herself and running around. If I didn't choose to come here I don't think my Remi would have survived. Thank you VCA you saved my girls life! God bless you Dr.Aaron and all that work there.

Last Friday night, we unfortunately arrived home late to find our 11 year old dauchaund had been attacked by a coyote and was injured badly. After rushing her to VCA, I walked into the office at midnight and stated that I had a trauma case. A technician came out and immediately took my little girl to the back. They gave her pain medication and started to work on her. She was in bad shape. The staff worked very hard to keep her stable but when it came to the point where she wouldn't make it much longer, they brought my daughter and I to the back so we could be with her before she passed. I want to thank you all who were there at midnight and helped my baby girl. You were compassionate, thoughtful and I will always remember what you did for us. My daughter was upset but being able to say goodbye and kiss her really helped. She spoiled her since she was a puppy. I have had animals for 55 years and never met such a group of people who were so helpful in this situation. You all are Angels ????

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!! THEY ARE VERY UNRESPONSIVE. WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR OUR DOG TO GET FOLLOW UP TREATMENT FOR SEVERAL WEEKS AND THE DOCTOR IS NOT RETURNING OUR CALL REQUESTS. WE PAID ALOT OF MONEY FOR OUR DOGS EMERGENCY VISIT, BUT THIS PLACE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT POST TREATMENT OF YOUR PET. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO BAD, ITS VERY FRUSTRATING!! AVOID SO YOU WONT HAVE TO EXPERIENCE HORRIBLE TREATMENT!

They say their 24 hours but they wouldn’t take my puppy at 2am, the guy couldn’t even tell me why, he said to take my dog somewhere else and on top of that when I was trying to speak he would talk over me. It seems like I was being pushed away and to take my puppy somewhere else, very unprofessional and rude!

My dog was having multiple seizures yet I waited while other people’s animals who came after me were seen first. I was told they were more important but my dog was having seizures every hour and I looked it up and that’s pretty serious.

The staff at VCA truly cares about your pet. They are honest and don't give you any false hope. They clearly explain your pet's condition and provide you with the options. They are not there to upsell or give you hope when clearly the condition can't be resolved without your pet experiencing additional pain and suffering. They supported us with some very tough decisions and truly care about your pet and the owners.

They were at capacity when I called to see if they could take my pet as a walk-in late at night. But they were kind enough to take the time to get me information for another clinic I could take her to. Thank you so much! Even though you didn't treat my pet, you still helped her :)

Worse place ever. My cats bladder was about to rupture and had us waiting outside for 30 minutes and never got helped even though we kept calling and saying it is and emergency and needs to be seen asap.. Had to leave and go somewhere else. Worse place ever. Dont bring your animal here. They don't care about your animal what so ever.

Jennifer Hoose watched our dog die there, she did not perform CPR or anything to save her. She said we signed a DNR form which we never did.

When my baby Oliver was showing signs of being blocked for the 4th time I called his regular vet and they could not get him in, I frantically began calling every vet/hospital around me and no one would help me or give me any common decency. I understand things are busier due to covid restrictions but I could not believe how many places answered the phone and were just so rude and heartless. I knew I didn’t have much time and I finally was given the phone number to this VCA and a sweet man answered the phone and let me explain my situation and let me know they would be able to help us. Once he was seen by Dr. sun(I think/hope I’m getting her name right) she called me and gave me all the facts and was so patient with me crying and trying to decide if it was now time to put him down. When we decided that was his best option they let me come inside and have a few more moments with him. I’m so thankful for that, I was so scared I wouldn’t get the chance to say goodbye. When I was in there they were so sweet and helped me with the paperwork. When I was ready Dr. sun came in, gave Oliver some pets and let me know how beautiful he is and reassured me that I’m making the right choice. I was there having to make this decision alone so her kind words and presence really meant so much to me. I’m so sad my baby is gone but I’m very thankful to have given him a peaceful transition to the next life. Thank you guys so much for your help.

Saved our pups life! Our pup got a surgical site infection and needed daily attention and treatment. Each day the Vet would work our guy into their extremely busy ER with love and professional care. Our pup is now on the road to full recovery....thank you!

Will never recommend this place to anyone I know. Worst service! Said my dog wasn't critical enough even though he had a broken jaw and deep lacerations to his neck. They do not care about pets!
