We came here as a referral from SIL for neutering our adolescent challenging behaviors. So far, so good ... He settled down very quickly after our visit - which tells me he was minimally stressed - which tells me they know how to handle cats. We scheduled his neutering appt and have found his vet. ????

I took our 13 yr old cat ( who we rescued just 2 yrs prior) for a cough. Took several hours for the doctor to get in touch. He wanted to do lots of test snd XRays, almost $900.00 worth! I went with just blood test, still over $500.00. He was healthy but had a respiratory infection. So we got antibiotics, cat could not tolerate them. So I called snd they said just break them in half. Still was barfing them up. But the worst was within 10 days I got calls and emails to have him have his few remaining teeth cleaned. This is a very sick cat and they wanted to put him under and release more bacteria into his system. That’s just greedy and shameful! They didn’t care about him just wanted more money. I must have received 4 emails and 3 calls to do this????He would of died. Found a new vet

This clinic is small and they give no explanation on the phone regarding how the visit will be before arriving, then are rude when you ask questions because there are so many signs out front. They also either assume you know every appointment is a drop off, or they expect you just to wait outside. I thought I would try a new vet, vet was VERY nice, but was not impressed by the staff.

This place is great as a specialty for cats. I find most fats are not as knowledgeable in cats as they are in dogs, which is why I come here. They are fantastic in their follow-up, and they really care!

My experience with North County Cat Hospital was a five-star experience. Dr. Daley is a superstar. We recently moved from Louisiana and our cat Bartlett had painful swelling on his chin. He was examined on a Monday morning and the vet called to explain later that afternoon (COVID protocols) that he had a fungal infection in his lower jaw. He needed his lower canines removed ASAP. We were able to get him in for surgery only a couple days after because of a cancellation, and Dr. Daley identified the larger infection, removing all 8 infected teeth from his lower jaw. He also identified a larger weight issue with our cat and put him on a wet food diet where he is now losing weight and is more energetic. Dr. Daley also took a bone graft of the infection and sent it in to check for cancer or if our cat Bartlett needed to be on an additional long-term medication. Those results came back negative. Bartlett is now doing so well, he's getting healthier and is happy he can eat again without any pain or discomfort. I highly recommend! This place is so thorough.

I sought out Dr. Daly when my beloved cat was diagnosed by another vet with diabetes. I knew from prior experience that a fructosamine test was needed. Because Dr. Daly is a cat only veterinarian, he was able to find that my cat had much more than diabetes going on. We were able to work together to resolve all of his issues that the other vets missed. I have since lost that beloved cat. But I have learned so much from Dr. Daly, it was easy to continue his services when I adopted my new feline friends and he doesn't cost much more than other vets in the area. I do miss the face-to-face visits, but he's very good at returning calls, and answering my questions. Dr. Daly is very passionate not just for cats, but YOUR cat. With his professional, no nonsense and compassionate manner, he will do what he can to educate you with as much information as possible so you can make educated decisions for your cat(s). Lindsey and Brandi help to create an amazing team at the cat hospital. I've used a lot of vets in my life, and Dr. Daly is my all-time favorite!

Unprofessional and rude vet , my wife will not bring any of our cats here again.

Dr.Daly is a great doctor. Over the years he has had some less than adequate front desk help. I wouldn't let it deter me but I also wouldn't go there in an emergency and expect the front desk to get the message to the doctor or even return a call even in an emergency.

I have taken my cats here for a long, long time, over 15 years. My mom took her cats here, too. I feel like the staff does a good job of caring for the animals but also recognizing that the owners have to make hard decisions, sometimes, and providing the information we need to make those decisions. This office, too, doesn't make me wait around all day with my stressed cat in his carrier. They make sure to get us seen and out the door quickly. I wish I could take my dogs here, too.

Excellent veterinarian. He's very thorough. Then he takes the time to explain everything to you. Cats only.

Mohnacky hospital was the best experience. Not only were they affordable but they made us feel so comfortable and safe and my cat, who is 17!, was so comfortable there! Would highly recommend!!!

My cat Tara and I think that Dr. Daly and his very caring and excellent team are rock stars of feline health care here in San Diego county. He and his staff have done an outstanding job of handling difficult tooth extractions for Tara over the last 2 years. Due to their great skill and caring manner they made a very stressful situation yesterday much more easy to handle for me and my cat. I trust them 100% and could not imagine risk using any other vet after browsing the many nightmare Yelp reviews of some other vets in the north county. Thanks again for the fantastic job you did yesterday for Tara!

Bout my kitten here for shots and a checkup, they were amazing. Easy and fast pick up and drop off. I loved that they kept us updated on her,and the priceing was good as well.. Vixen loved them to.

Dr Daly is thorough and patient and kind

We're new clients but we came referred. Ge only things we've gone to Dr. Daly for a couple of things - neutered our Bengal and for over the phone advice. No haggling, straight forward information and wonderful service.

Excellent Care and Customer service. Dr Daley always takes his time and does a thorough examination even with difficult cats.

Dr. Daly really cares about cats. A bit expensive but worth it.

The good people here at North county cat hospital really helped me out even though I was mean to them and scratched and clawed at them. They did not deserve my vitriol, they deserve my respect. Unlike most other area vets this one is worth coming back to. Meeeeeow!!!

Everyone is so nice and caring. The dr is great.

Efficient but concerned help for cat lovers who care about their animals. They do everything right here, but just like going to urgent care or the ER for humans without insurance, it ain't cheap.

Dr. Daly and his staff are very professional. They have gone out of their way to make me and my formerly feral cat comfortable! Smudge has been a client since 2015. We are so grateful for their tender, loving care!

I have nothing but praise to say about Dr. Daly and the North County Cat Hospital. Dr. Daly is very knowledgeable, kind, and is sure to make sure that we pet parents are on the same page of what our little ones need. My cat, Phillip, came to Dr. Daly with a swollen and bloody mouth. I had just adopted Phillip and supposedly the humane society had removed all of his teeth because of stomatitus. Dr. Daly went above and beyond and preformed surgery to remove the plethora of little bone "chips" that were left behind in the previous surgery. Phillip has not experienced any more pain in his mouth because of Dr. Daly.

This place was wonderful, doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful and kind, the vet tech was super nice and I did not have a long wait for my appointment. I loved how they attended to my cat in the office with me in front of me and didn't take my cat in the back like a lot of places do.

My cat needed immediate attention. I was given a choice of 3 appt.. times the same day I called. I was seen quickly when I arrived. The staff is caring and provide exceptional customer service. Dr. Daly is skilled, understanding and compassionate. I was given several options that were explained patiently. I felt confident that my cat was in good hands and her needs were being met without being overwhelmed and pressured into overly aggressive treatment choices.

When I moved to the area, I did not expect to find a vet I trusted as much as my last one. Dr Daly is wonderful, and I'm so glad I found his practice. He's calm, thoughtful, and really listens to what you tell him. He explains what he's thinking and why, and explains both the options and the costs. I don't feel that he's overly expensive, and I'm confident he wouldn't recommend unnecessary treatments. He and his staff are gentle even with the more challenging patients, take their time, and go out of their way for the cats.

Dr. Daly and his entire staff are incredible. They literally saved my 14 year-old cat's life, after having had a severe upper respiratory infection this past winter, which had left her in pretty bad shape. Thanks to them, she's doing fine now, and her hyper-active thyroid and IBD are also well under control. I would highly recommend North County Cat Hospital to anyone who truly cares about their cat's health and well-being.
