Great Veterinary Hospital! When we had Stitch we were referred to Woodminster. Stitch passed away, he was a fabulous pet with a great attitude. He was protective, but loving! We lost touch and went to 2 other vets. One was too far, the other I was just not pleased with. I felt we were not valued clients. Thank you Woodminster for making us feel like family!

I've been taking my dogs here for over 20 years. I have found the staff to be very caring and loving of our fur babies. I appreciate that they are open 7 days a week. Their prices are fair. I would recommend them.

The team at Woodminster Vet has been very responsive and supportive. I appreciate being able to contact via email and the appt. scheduling process is great. Medical records via email is helpful and the care we've received has been excellent! Everyone on the team knows my dog and she loves coming to visit.

The team here is incredible! BIG SHOUT OUT to Hannah & Dr. Lee for always treating our fur-babies with so much love and compassion. The energy at this clinic is so good and I appreciate the attention they provide to my pets and I. Highly recommend!

Great customer service. The doctor was really nice and informative. They called me a week later to check up on my puppy and made sure she was doing good after her procedure.

So bad that this office’s name has become a synonym in our household for anything of low caliber or general awfulness and misery. (e.g., “that place is the Woodminster of what it does”, “would you rather do jury duty or have to make a Woodminster appointment?”) Yeah, literally go anywhere else. Check out their Yelp page if you’re curious for more details.

The staff are helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The vets are also helpful, they are knowledgeable and well informed about their work. They also have good recommendations for specialists when needed.

Unreasonably expensive: $900 = cat supposedly has heart murmur, so he'll need tranquilizer and pain injection ($350!). Exploratory inconclusive procedure for our cat's limp ($145!). Lab panel...for what? Our cat was limping and in pain ($172!) and $50 here, $46 there...total $900! Bandage wrap of procedure site SO unprofessional and DEFINITELY cheap insufficient first aid supply...exploratory inconclusive wound area bled through gauze (not non-stick gauze, just one pad of *hopefully* sterile gauze) even after being on site at the vet facility 7 hours...it was bandaged like how I would bandage myself after getting cut on the trail! We will never patron this place ever again!

We have a cat in declining health, and in need of in-home hospice/euthanasia at home. Received initial medical treatment at Woodminster Vet, and it helped for a few days; but cat continued to decline. Requested help in determining our next steps; that is, more medical treatment, or end of life assistance from Woodminster veterinarian, such as in-home euthanasia recommendations. Received some help from one of the staff members, but never received a call-back from the veterinarian. Very inexcusable, and unprofessional.

I went here because no where else was accepting appointments. I should read the low reviews first. There are a few nurses who are kind and friendly, the vet however, was very rude and totally unreasonable. Zero communication as far as what's going on with my dog, and when she was finally diagnosed a day later, the vet was attempting to emotionally take advantage of me and charge me over 2k cat scans and over nights for pneumonia? Why not just give my dog the antibiotics she needs instead of a cough syrup and pepto for dogs.. like what the heck. Not to mention they made a follow up appointment for me that I never booked. So all and all, not a good experience for anyone.

This is the most straightforward vet I have found in the East Bay.

It's the only place I would take my dog treble to . I live all the way in Richmond yet I will make sure that treble is taken to Woodminster to be seen by there friendly staff. They treat treble with lots of care

This vet hospital is quite empathetic to the needs of pet owners. I am very happy with it. They do seem to try and sell you on extra care products to raise up the bill a bit and that's why I didn't give 5 starts

They were able to get my dog in on short notice for a skin reaction when my regular vet wasn't able to. Will definitely consider coming back to Dr. Sangha.

Recently moved to the area and Woodminster was the ONLY vet office in a 15 mile radius even accepting new pets. Our pup had a bad rash and they did a thorough examination, reviewed her previous medical records and prescribed an appropriate treatment for the allergic reactions. I was very impressed with their communication and follow up. Look forward to having them as our local veterinarian

Luckily I’ve only had to make two visits to Woodminster Veterinary Hospital as my dog Brody is usually in great health, but each time I have used Woodminster they have been beyond amazing. They take the time to answer any and all of my questions. Brody gets really bad separation anxiety when we drop him off and they’ve always been able to calm him down so they can perform the required treatments/exams. They’ve truly got the magic touch. I highly recommend this veterinarian. If I could give them more stars I would.

Dr. Sangha was incredibly thorough, professional and comprehensive in providing care for our cocker spaniel at the last minute.

So I had my appointment for my dog "Bubbers" this Veterinary hospital is 100% covid-19 friendly you pull up in your car and the nurse comes out asks you briefly what's going on with your animal and/or what you would like to be treated with them today, then they return back inside with your animal and then from inside they (The Vet) will call you with their basic assessment and treatment recommendation which you can completely agree with or completely disagree with and then you can actually choose what service you would like to have taken care of whether it be just medication or just the x-rays if it's a broken bone or something like that... Luckily my dog only had an ear infection but she also told me about some possible spinal issues so I'm going to get X-rays at a later time but they were extremely thorough and extremely helpful and I would definitely recommend this hospital to any dog or cat owner that is i n need of seeing a doctor

After setting up an appointment online, I brought our 11 y/o cat in as a new patient to Woodminster because she had a significant infection and swelling. While many vets are not taking new patients due to COVID, Woodminster agreed to fit her in within a few hours of my calling. They did a good job with all COVID precautions. The cat is not one to participate in anything that isn't her idea, but they were very kind and diplomatic in discussing her temperament and dealing with her. They were able to treat the infection, made good suggestions for diagnostics, provided good instructions for home care, followed up with test results and to inquire about her progress, and the cat is now in her usual state of good health 2 weeks later. They provided excellent care and excellent customer service.

Nicest, most competent and caring team we have encountered. A first class operation. Were making this place our first choice from now on.

Everyone doing the best they can under Covid conditions while still maintaining their caring disposition, responsiveness, safety, and thorough veterinary care. No complaints.

Normally I love this vet but I had a 1:30 appointment, I had to call twice while waiting outside and ask an employee when are you taking my cat which was now 2:10. I had to call twice about picking up my cat. I picked him up 4 hours later and all he had was a butt shave. Put on hold two times for over 20 minutes each.

Wonderful staff who truly care. Our pitbully gets nothing but love whether it's routine healthcare or emergencies (on two such occasions they took care of him without hesitation). I'm very grateful I found Woodminster after slogging through assembly line vet clinics for years.

I appreciate the follow-up phone call about my cat after his dental procedure. The phone call and email reminders about the appointment were helpful too.

All Westminster care about is $$ not your pets. They changed me so much money and my dog is still sick. I waited my money and my poor dog is still suffering. I am currently looking for different veterinary care.

This is my go to place for vet care. The techs are awesome and extremely helpful. They love their animals and always give excellent advice. I find their prices to be reasonable and they always let me know what is absolutely essential when I need to cut costs.

I wish I was informed ahead of time that the medicine for the worms was not available. It’s inconvenient to order from chewy and that’s taking more time to get the medicine. Next time let the customers know ahead of time.
