SPCA East Bay - Oakland was a good experience. The Staff was so very helpful, courteous, and professional. The process was expieditiously handled; and, my puppy is now doing just fine.

A blessing for our community that ASPCA has such a professional and friendly staff, and wonderful facility here to take care of our animal friends. Thanks for everything! Had a great experience scheduling and getting my pet's surgery needs all taken care of.

Qina was spayed here. I really appreciated all the helpful information provided ahead of time, and the surgery was done amazingly, only a small wound that healed really quickly. Qina recovered on her second week. Thank you guys for your awesome job! I would give it a 6 stars if I can :)

We got 4 cat spayed here. The staff members were very kind and caring. We love this place, and they deserve 5/5 star!

My dog was sick but they still close I washed my dog with disinfectant and use cortisone once a day and a pain killer that I use. A few days later she was healed and herself again, the doctor called a few days later by that time I didn't need help.

They handled dropping off and picking up the cats really well. The staff were friendly and gave advice post op and seemed to really love the animals. Saved about 400 from going to my normal vet, who I love. Neuter your pets, people!

I went there to ask a couple of questions, I was concerned about my baby. It was one person ahead of me. A staff member was assisting them. When she was done, instead of acknowledging me she walked away. I had to call her back. She was rude and not very knowledgeable of the services they provided. I'm glad I found out before I received any services.

They offer valuable help for our pets. Nice that there are association that care for animals, as they charge far much less for neuter and spaying. Bless to you all ❤????????❤

After about a year of rescheduling my mature dog vaccines, I finally got an appointment. Not really satisfied with this place, there is no other around me that I could go to

Two stars because this facility would take my pup to be spayed when no one else would during the pandemic. They'd get less for professionalism. They apparently have limited experience with my dog's breed, which is understandable. During the drop-off procedure, I was questioned twice whether or not I wanted to update the breed info because "she doesn't look like that" (she's a coated toy Xoloitzcuintli). Even after explaining I have papers from the breeder, was able to meet the hairless parents, hairless siblings, etc, the girl actually laughed at me over the phone and proceeded to guess what breed my dog *actually* is. Not only was this conversation 100% irrelevant to the spaying (unless their anatomy differs vastly?), but at the point that you're questioning my knowledge of my dog's breed, is your 2 minute eval any more credible than my info, as the owner and purchaser of the dog? If you think I'm guessing and you're also only guessing, what does it actually matter? You're just arguing. And most importantly, why is there any back-and-forth about this during a stressful drop-off for dogs and their owners? Completely unprofessional and it sure didn't make me feel confident to leave my dog with someone arguing with and laughing at me. Won't be back if we can help it.

Came here for the first time and the staff was real nice to my Hannah. Even though I was not able to go inside due to covid, they showed kindness and where carrying when picked from the car. The entire process was smooth and on point. It is hard to make an appointment. I was lucky. I hope I can get an appointment to spade her. Definitely coming back if I can. Thank you for your services.

I was very nervous as my best friend left me in this strange new place. The humans were friendly enough, but I am pretty sure they slipped me something. I woke in a daze, some time later , with a since that something was missing. Once fully awake , I was able to take inventory. What the French poodle? They were gone , my favorite pastime were no longer there. The next time my master says Vet, I'm going to hide.

So glad this place exists. The staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly and great with animals. They got my dog fixed and the surgery went great. He is a pit mix so I only had to pay $50. No problems afterwards, healed nicely.
