We have been taking our dog to DSC for over 2 years now and have NOTHING but great things to say about them. Ginseng has been there for both daycare and boarding and has always been so eager to go into the door she practically leaps put of the car when we get there.

Great place for dog day care or boarding. Easy parking, friendly front desk staff, clean and organized. Puppy loves it and knows when we are headed this way! Comes back exhausted from playing all day. Glad to know this facility is here.

I love that it is a cooperative, that allow dogs to rest and that they all seem dog lovers, and also that you don’t have to commit to a specific number of days, it is flexible. My dog loves it there.

Dog Social Club is amazing. The staff is very friendly, adaptable and flexible. Most recently we’ve had our two dogs stay there, and both had the times of their lives. It’s great that they have play structures, pools, and additional services you can add for your pups. Our two boys have very different personalities, one loves dogs and is shy with people, the other loves people and is shy with dogs. Both came out of their shells and loved being a part of the pack. It’s been the only place that we’ve boarded them where we had full peace of mind during our own vacation (and where it seems like they are on vacation too!). Thank you DSC!!

This place is awesome! My dog Junebug is excited to go every time and all the staff know her, and everyone is great with dogs. Our number one pick for so many things, including keeping your dog comfortable with other dogs. We could not be happier!

We are so grateful to the Dog Social Club for the care and loving oasis it is becoming for our pup Dulce. We are new members and have been feeling concerned about Dulce's sudden fear of humans being too close to her or approaching too quickly for her comfort level. This is a new development for her and appears to have started after spending a few weeks at a less favorable/professional day care. Dulce had started to become shy, timid, and literally had to be pulled inside to her last day care. TO THE POINT.....we are going in to our 3rd week at Dog Social Club and wow!! The staff have been so professional, supportive and understanding of her needs. Now, Dulce whimpers with excitement as we approach the Dog Social Club. And yesterday, when I was turning to clip her with the lead to be taken away by staff- she was gone! She ran in on her own to the staff. She is clearly very happy to be here and enjoying herself greatly. Moreover though for us, the staff are truly considerate of her needs and wellbeing. A final note, the communication with staff and professionalism is top notch. We have finally found THE best day care (trust me- we've tried a few these past several months as we tried to navigate what's out there).

Our puppy Shoyu loves coming here. We've been going weekly since he was a small puppy and he's gets very excited to see his friends. They also have vet connections and grooming services if needed.

We love this place. As co-op members, we take pride in how awesome this place is. Employee owned and they really do love the dogs that spend their time here. Basil says it's her favorite place to be!

I'm almost 100% confident Rory (my dog) would give this place 5 stars. As pawrents, we would also give DSC five stars. The moment we pull up to the gate, Rory's super excited to see his pals at da club. We first started bringing Rory here when he could -- had all the vaccinations required -- and had his puppy assessment. At the time (circa Dec 2019), they were doing tours of the facility which I thought was great and talked through how they facilitate the dogs' schedules. For example, they try to keep no more than 12 dogs together at a time, cycle between one hour of play and one hour of rest. When they're less than 6 months, they'll feed the your dog a lunch (byo). During Spring 2020, they only took in dogs of essential workers but as soon as they re-opened, Rory headed back at least once a week to hangout and socialize with other dogs. We like to think taking Rory to DSC helped him socialize and play well with other dogs. I'm not sure if other doggy day cares do this but they would like your dog to sit before they open the gate to receive/give you your dog. #manners From a covid safety protocol, they're doing it all. Only one pawrent for pick up and drop off inside the lobby area. You can't leave your leash there anymore which I totally understand and masks are required. To many of our friends who don't even leave near West Oakland, I always recommend DSC. As a pawrent, you're protective of your fur baby and wanna make sure they're in good hands while you're away, whether for the day or overnight. Every one on the team is great and super friendly. I've never had a doubt in my mind that Rory wasn't having the time of his life at DSC. My one wish that was that they had live streams just so I could see Rory during the day.

The Dog Social Club is a life saver and our pup's second home. We started hanging with them frequently when our puppy hit 3.5 months old and needed more socialization than was possible before her shots were finished. Just through attentive care and play Dog Social Club helped train her out of some of her growing habits, like play biting, and as she's become older they're a favorite spot for engagement while my partner and I work during the day. They genuinely love and care for her and help us keep track of things we may otherwise lose in the midst of larger chaos (like when we needed to add a family member as a contact when we ran out of town for an emergency). You can trust them with your dog - old, young, morning, noon or night. Their staff are kind, flexible and genuinely love our dear pup. They're worth every penny.

The BEST dog daycare in the East Bay. Would recommend it 10/10. Our dog loves it there, and always comes back home super tired (and sometimes wet from spending time at the pool).

I really can't say enough good things about Dog Social Club. To sum it up, they're the best. We were taking our dog to another nearby daycare for about 8 months before we made the best decision to switch. Our dog was continually getting sick at the other daycare, mixed up many times with other dogs (for feedings, credit card charges, etc), nobody ever knew her name and she seemed bored. She was happy, but not excited to go. The last 4 months at Dog Social Club have been amazing for her. She's healthy, happy and SO excited to go. She has room to do zoomies and I love that the dogs are broken up into smaller playgroups. The facility is amazing and somehow it's actually cheaper here! The COVID protocols are so smart and we feel safe. Everything about Dog Social Club is well thought out and absolutely impressive. By the second week EVERYONE knew her name. It is so fun dropping and picking her up and hearing everyone say her name and boast about her. Highly highly highly recommend!

There is no better place to take your dog in East Bay. Amazing, caring staff, who will take great care of your pup. My Australian Shepherd puppy has been going here since he was about 10 weeks old, and loves it there! 10/10 - do not hesitate to take your dog here!

We moved to the Bay Area recently and chose The Dog Social Club Cooperative for our dog, Rocky, based entirely on the online reviews. During our initial consultation, we could tell this facility is really well run by kind people who genuinely love dogs. Now that Rocky has been to daycare several times and has boarded for a full week, I'm starting to think this is his favorite place. If we ask him if he wants to go to daycare, he immediately runs to our door with a dog smile and he whimpers and wiggles with excitement when we are getting close to drop-off. I highly recommend The Dog Social Club Cooperative!

Best dog day care ever. Weasley misses all his friends, human and canine. I never worried that anything bad was going to happen to him here and he always came home tired but happy and not overwhelmed. Thank you to everyone who works here for making this such a great business. We moved away and miss it terribly.

I’ve been taking our golden doodle, Lewis, here since he was a puppy (he’s now 6). I really feel the staff are deeply fond of him and I’ve never once questioned the kind of care he receives. He is always excited to go and happy when he comes home.

Our pup gives the social club 5 stars. Since we started going there he drags us to the car everytime he goes on a walk as he wants us to drive there so he can socialize.

I take my puppy here for daycare and she loves it, all the staff are so kind and very helpful and take good care of her. The pricing is way more reasonable and affordable than the place I took my puppy to at first and tbh I like the facility better too. My puppy has been super sociable with other dogs and people since she started going to DSC. I highly recommend this place :)

I can't say enough good things about The Dog Social Club. When the prior owner (Every Dog Has Its Day Care) decided to close, the pet parents and employees rallied together to buy the (phenomenal!) building and take over the business. The community outpouring was INCREDIBLE - a true testament to the team of dog handlers there who love our pups. They have amazing and friendly staff, lots of outdoor space, swimming pools, retractable roofs - it's truly state of the art.

Co-founders Katie and Lindsey continue to be my go to. They are accommodating, thoughtful, responsive, and much nicer to my own dog than I am. I'm regularly humbled by how warm and knowledgeable the whole staff is. Sending my dog to Dog Social Club feel like an investment in her well-being and the well being of the neighborhood.

This is absolutely the BEST boarding and daycare facility I could dream of. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive with the dogs, and as a result I never worry when I drop my dog off at the Dog Social Club. My dog gets great exercise and socialization as well as loving attention from the staff. Katie and Lindsey have run the place for many years and have built an incredible community of thoughtful, hard-working, compassionate dog-lovers. The facility itself is also top-notch. The many play yards mean that staff can create groupings of dogs that play together well. For all of us who love our dogs and want the best for them, this place is a dream come true!
