These people cut my dog's nails too short and didn’t tell me it's bleeding. I then get back home and take off my dog’s harness, and he was bleeding from a giant scrape. Again they did not tell me about it. I honestly almost filed suit. DO NOT GO.

In and out under an hour, Miki is the best!

She did an excellent job. I love the fact that my baby wasnt sitting in a cage for hours. I dropped him off at 11am and picked him up 5 minutes early at 11:55am. When I got him he was super happy and playful and his cut was exactly what I asked for. I tried K9 on College ave and wasnt happy any of the 4 times he went. They had my baby in the cage for 8 hours one time, another time they cut too close to the quick on his nails and he was bleeding and then I got a really shaky uneven cut another smh.I will continue to use SpaGoDog from now on

They do a good job with my difficult pup. Plus no cages, they can run around.

Not the friendliest staff, did a decent job with my pup, her cut wasn't perfect or very straight but they got her done in less than 2 hours

First time here. In and out in less than an hour, and Miki groomed my 15lb westie mix. During SIP, this is one of the few dog groomers that's still taking new clients and making appointments was easy online. Dog looks great! Cost around $90 after tip.

This place is the best! Today was our 3rd time getting our dog groomed here and we have been very happy with the service and the results each time. Miki is a really great groomer and we love that it usually only takes an hour or less!

The owner is one of most devoted dog owners I know. Our dog has been going there since she was 6 or 7 months old now she is almost 4. There hasn’t been a single time I would choose to go anywhere else. They are kind, thoughtful, and always make the perfect cut for your dog. Not only that but every time that my dog leaves she is happy and that is what really matters.

Mikki is an amazing groomer who easily handles all types of dogs no matter the size or personality. We’ve used her for over 6 years. My pup loves her to pieces!

This place did an ok job the first time I brought my Havanese in for a bath and grooming. I thought it was because we were new to the area and she needed to get to know my dog better. Two weeks later I brought her in and just wanted a bath and a trim around her face. The owner didn't do the grooming and the person who did didn't even know how to carry my dog. Worse, she shaved her, claiming she was too matted. No way. She gets brushed every day. She didn't even shave her evenly. Her trademark trail has chunks cut out of it. I wouldn't take my kids' stuffed animals to this place for a bath. And it cost $85! Rip off and incompetent!

PLEASE do not take your dog here. This was our first visit here - my dog has a hack job of a cut and she is full of razor burn. There is no way a guard was used to cut of baby. She is traumatized. When we walked in to pick her up, the lady can be heard yelling at a dog, when I scooted closer to the bookcase, IT WAS MY DOG! She is a hair dog, she gets matted and she was matted but not to warrant the treatment she received and the horrible cut she received. We take her to Petsmart (of all places), same level of matt and we have NEVER had a problem, I just didn't feel like their wait time, so I figured I'd pay a little more money (a lot more money, more than I booked for - not worth it) and have no wait - it is my fault my baby is in pain, I can't imagine how she felt because we have never put her in harms way! I was so scared for her that I ran her to Banfield Vet after and they said that the amount of burn that she had there was no way a professional groomer cut our dog - if she was fidgeting they shouldn't have proceeded. This place is money hungry and they are not dog people. Also, not that it matters at this point, there is no way she was bathed in 45 minutes. By the time I am done complaining and reviewing, I hope this place is shut down: 1. 7 on your side 2. BBB 3. East Bay SPCA (I don't even know what they can do, but I am advising them) 4. State of California Attorney General - Consumer Division 5. Alameda County Animal Services Reviews on Yelp, Google, Nextdoor, and counting. Wrong owner, wrong dog.

This place is super clean With big play area My Yorker and retriever were clean and ready to go in 1.5 hour there was no waiting time. The groomer is super friendly. I would definitely come back here????????❣️

This is a fabulous place - the owner truly loves dogs and is talented at what she does. The place is clean, well-run and the on-line booking is super easy. The owner is also a lovely person. It's great to support women owned businesses in Oakland - especially one that is as top-notch and customer friendly as this one!!

Pleasant personnel, soso cut pm

One of the worst cuts. I have a standard poodle who gets an even utility cut. Even then her feet were not trimmed up (and she said she used a 40 blade, no way is that true) . I groom her myself in between professional grooming appts. She had my dog only one hour and charged $125. It is not possible to wash, dry, brush out and fully groom a standard poodle in one hour (one person). I would llike welcome a groomer to tell me otherwise. Terrible experience

First timer from out of state will keep looking for a groomer. Only street parking, way over priced, understaffed and just not 100% satisfied. We groom every month and half and feel this is not our new dog groomer.

We found Spa Go Dog a few years ago before they had store and loved having the van come to our home to groom our Shih Tzu. They gave Bella a great haircut, in less time and with no stress to us or our dog. Now we have gone to shop twice and Bella loves going there! She plays with other dogs in the great space provided (indoor and outside) before and after her haircut. What use to be stressful experience is now a fun day! Miki is professional, sweet and great groomer!

SpaGo is great. I use the mobile service and have been really happy with the results. My small dogs are disgusting little animals with an unnatural ability to find mud puddles and filth in the most unlikely of places. SpaGo comes to my house, gets them back into shape, and deposits them right at my front door at a price competitive with any other groomer. One time I couldn't get an appointment at the time I wanted, so I took my dogs someplace else that was super high rated. Not only was it incredibly inconvenient, with constant phone calls back and forth trying to figure out when they would be ready, but when I finally went to pick them up, the grooming was subpar and they charged me extra because they had gone to the bathroom! The whole thing ended up costing more than SpaGo, and wasting a bunch of my free time. From then on I've been sold. I will never take them elsewhere. They are great with feedback, honest, thoughtful and considerate. One time I was not super satisfied with the way they'd shaped my dog, and she happily redid it before she left. I have been to at least half a dozen groomers in the East Bay, and I won't go to anyone else. To be honest, I don't even really want to write this review, because I don't want to make appointments harder to get, but they are so good I am willing to write it against my own best interests.

After 2 years of having Miki come to my house to groom my cocker spaniel mix, I just visited her new shop on Broadway in Oakland. It's a great space and I love having an appointment which means not having to leave Reyna caged for several hours as is necessary at most groomers. Reyna doesn't do well in crates and there aren't any at Miki's place, which fits in with our boarding philosophy at Dogs of Berkeley. I recommend Miki and SpaGo Dog to everyone

Great service, always on time as scheduled

Miki and her crew are terrific. Our King Charles Cavalier loves coming for his grooming sessions! The service is first rate and fast. I highly recommend SpaGo Dog to anyone who wants to have consistently high quality care for their dog.

I LOVE SpaGo Dog! Miki is the best! And Virginia is good, too. I especially love the mobile service because it's so easy - I work at home - and they work on 1 dog at a time so there's no cage time. Also, it costs the same amount as a visit to a regular place. I think it's a great value!

I really love having this option for my 9 month old pup who hates riding in the car. This is the second time I've used the service and have been very pleased each time. The groomers have been kind to my pets and do excellent work. I wholeheartedly recommend SpaGo Dog!

These people did a great job and really love dogs. I have a labradoodle whose wiry, wooly, coat is frequently and easily matted. They warned me that they might have to shave very matted areas, but they did a great job (see photo of Teddy the Labradoodle),

Convenient! Excellent service for the price! My two little terriers are not easy dogs to groom - they hate water and want to play. With SpaGoDog, my dogs get cleaned up quickly, with no trauma, and almost no stress. I would recommend them for all services - they are excellent!
