Although BPH is a bit more on the pricier side. It is worth it! All the staff are excellent and compassionate.

They offer flea medication at a monthly dose. 20 bucks. Amazing.

We live an hour and a half one way but we would go anywhere else unless it was pet emergency. Even during the covid crisis, they found away to make you feel your buddies were getting the best treatments. We have been going here for decades and I would be amiss to the good life of my animals by not telling anyone why and where to go for their buds too. I know there are many pet hospitals just as good but AND this is a BIG BUT, there are none better than this one.

The wàit was pretty long. But they gave yòu a time frame. MY DOODERS vet was so nicè. You could tell she was a dog lover. The next time I'll bring both dogs.

Felt much less pressure to choose my dog’s course of treatment compared with how I’ve felt at other veterinary offices. Dr Cohen was thoughtful and I appreciated her bedside manner a great deal.

They are wonderful with your pet and everyone is great with wonderful attitudes. They show extreme and kindness towards not only my puppy, but my famil, as well.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the appointment went very fast! Their tastes are very reasonable too. I am so happy to have found this clinic and I look forward to working with them to make sure we always have a healthy and happy kitty.

Unfortunately the ability to actually to be seen when you do have an emergency is non existent. I would not even call this place a clinic for your pet anymore. They refer all emergencies to other facilities so what the point of even creating a file and a long term record if when its needed they shun you somewhere else. I suggest the many other facilities in the area.....

BPH has been our go-to vet for our cats for 30 years. They are only three blocks from our house and the staff are friendly, kind, professional, and thorough. Good value —they may charge a bit more than some other local vet offices but the quality of care is top notch. Most vets there I think are Cornell or UC Davis trained. I appreciate that dog and cat waiting spaces are separated and the appointments are usually on time. We always feel that we are in good hands, especially when dealing with chronic medical conditions. Highly recommended.

Dr G & Dr Yu are the best doctors that I found to treat my dog. The staffs are wonderful as well.

My former vet my pet was not the biggest fan. He was always terrified and the team there were not super friendly. My dog had a cherry eye surgery recently, the team there was beyond helpful and friendly. We had some questions the following day, everyone that saw my boy remembered him and was genuinely concerned. Dr Sheleby and the whole team was great with my boy. He also was happy to see them and not shaking in his boots like previous vets.

Dr. Gutlaizer is an incredible veterinarian and boss. I am a former employee but it has been about 18 years since I worked here. Dr. G remembered my family and children's names. We were so happy he could see our 2 yr old chocolate lab on our visit to California. The only downside was that due to the pandemic I couldn't actually visit with Dr. G and the staff. Broadway Pet Hospital is and will always be the best possible veterinary care you could get for your pets. ❤????????????????????❤

EXTORTION. Plain and simple. TL;DR - They held my dog hostage until I gave them money. I have been a client of BPH for a couple years now. My two dogs and I actually used to stop in once or twice a week just to say hi as we were also neighbors. Then with COVID came new procedures that had been in place a couple months before we had our first very awkward appointment. It was difficult because the new processes and flow that they had implemented still had some bugs that needed to be addressed. I wrote it off as just the same painful adaptation that we were all going through at the time. About a month later, I had to bring in my Mastiff, and it became clear that this dysfunction was their new normal. It's important to note, at this point, that he is a Certified Emotional Support Animal and we both tend to get a little anxious when we're apart. That said, I was still prepared to wait outside for an hour or two while the vet saw him. The system is set up through phone calls. You call them when you arrive, they call you when they're ready for the dog, they call you when the exam is over, call when treatment is finished and finally, they call you again for payment. Then, ostensibly, they bring out your dog. The system failed. After my dog's visit had concluded, I spoke with the vet and I began waiting for the 'payment phone call', in a hot car, in the middle of summer. After what seemed like an excessive amount of time, I called. The phone tree machine placed me on hold several minutes before someone picked up. I asked what was happening and they said they'd call me right back. After another extensive wait, I called back again, same result. I waited more. The third time I called back, I just said, "I don't mind waiting to pay but, will you please bring my dog out to me while I wait to pay. He gets very upset when we're apart like this." The person on the other end of the phone said, "No, we won't be doing that." At this point, my anxiety level escalated exponentially. The voice said, "We can't release your dog until we receive payment." Now, to be fair, I'm not entirely sure of the legality here but, I'm fairly sure that even if someone does owe you money, you can't then arbitrarily take something of theirs until they pay you. I felt like he was being held hostage for a ransom. I asked to speak with the supervisor on staff and she basically supported the policy and also refused to release my dog. I hung up in disbelief and shock, but a few minutes later, my dog was brought out finally, well over an hour after his appointment ended. I then received a call from the specific vet that cared for my dog who apologized for the mishap. We chatted for about 20 minutes about the situation and about my dog's condition and I felt much better about the whole thing so I left it at that. Despite the phone call, I was still unnerved by this event for about a week afterward and I heard nothing from BPH regarding the incident since. Cut to today, I submitted an online request for a new appointment and received an email stating that they wouldn't care for my dog any longer. After tormenting my dog and I, they are now telling us to go away. It just feels like petty spite. They dropped the ball and they're blaming us. When COVID hit, hospitals rightly banned all visitors. However, obvious exceptions were made for parents of children. Because the thought of being separated from our children while they are suffering is simply unbearable and unacceptable. For many of us, our pets ARE our children. They tormented us, in the name of money. That's the opposite of compassion. That's not what I want from my vet.

Great vet for our dog. Staff are professional, warm and always helpful. Vets are very responsive and thoughtful in their care.

2/4/2020 While the facility is nice and I assume the care is acceptable (because they do not allow you in the back for vaccines) the staff is not very sympathetic/compassionate. Wait time is slow and appointments even slower. I appreciate everyone's time and efforts that I even got lunch for everyone at the end of 2019. BPH has gouged me and many others for micro chipping. The city of Oakland charges $10 total for everything (registration, and procedure). BPH charges $80 which I happily paid at the time. I would pay any amount for care for my love ones and I have at BPH and understandable they need to make money but that's excessive. I've mentioned my concern about redness around my puppy's eyes and have been dismissed each time. This morning I called about a limping paw and was told I could come in two days later. Really? I wouldn't have called unless I was concerned and my puppy should wait 2 days? For being our Vet of choice and the only veterinarian we go to for everything from vaccinations, checkups, flea control, and more I would hope for better. Unfortunately, I can't recommend BPH and give only 2 stars as I assume the care I haven't seen was provided. I regrettably guess now I have to find another veterinarian that is willing to provide care that I am more than willing to pay for. BPH is welcome to reach out to me if they see a problem with my experience, hopefully they know who I am from the details I've provided.

Dr. Harry has watched over our pets for the 5-6 years. Just recently we had to put our 15 year old Lab down due to old age. The staff was very caring to him and us as a family. A few days later we received a card from Dr. Harry and staff with our dogs paw print in it. It meant so much to us as a grieving family. We framed the paw print and have up in our house. Thank you for all that you did for him.

Our 11 year old Golden Retriever is being treated at another vet but we've visited Broadway Pet Hospital a few times for an exam and some medications. We are impressed by and appreciative of their responsiveness, competence, and compassion. Highly recommended.

Dr. Harry & staff have cared for our animals for over 20 years. We could not be more pleased. I feel confident in calling them, just to check things out regarding our dog & cat. I have referred friends to them for excellent care.

Always a positive experience. They don't seem to overcharge as some vets do. Friendly staff and can always get our boy Yuba in. No complaints here!

I have known Dr. Harry for , oh well over 20 years. I have taken many animals to him. He has NEVER turned me away when I had an emergency whether he had been treating the animal or not.. I highly recommend him. He is a really nice person and is knowledgeable about veterinary medicine and cares about the animals he sees...or at least all of mine that he has seen. I would recommend him to anyone in Vallejo who would like a good vet. In addition his staff is caring and polite which I cannot say about other vet offices in town
