My family in the past has taken all of our dogs to be seen here but today on 1/09/22 @ 11:25am I called and s/w a very rude old lady who placed me on hold (understandable) but came back to the line and I clearly heard her there and still hung up my call. When I called back I told her I clearly heard her and she hung up my call she did not apologize and I asked her if she was having a bad day and her response was" not yet" I explained to her my cat is ill and needs to be seen right away. My cat is having difficulty breathing and she did not have no sympathy for my cat and stated he could not be seen till Monday 1/10/22.I told her how is that if this a hospital for pets this is not just a pet he is just like a person who feels the same way we do. She still did not have no sympathy and was very rude and did not care was never courteous at all. People like her should not be working in a place where we as people take our pet's who are family to us could imagine the care they give them there??? The owner should have better judgement who works for him. They are a reflection of himself as well and that should speak volumes!!!!! Horrible place and I didn't even have to step into that office to experience their horrible customer service I experienced it over the phone and that was enough!!!

It's unbelievable to me that people will stay at a job we're they're unhappy. So what happens is they become rude without realizing it. It's unnecessary and upsetting. Being a paying customer I shouldn't have to deal with employees attitude for no reason. It's almost sad that I had to be the one to act professional. I took my dog for his shots. I wasn't comfortable at all and either with my dog. I see no point in having cameras in that hospital if all they do is disrespect paying customers and mistreat our pet's.

The receptionist who answers the phones always has an attitude. If you don't like your job just quit. Went to a different vet who's staff doesn't have such a negative attitude.

Despite what they say on their web-site, “No Appointments Necessary, Walk-In Only!” they do not accept walk-ins and you must make an appointment for your pet to be seen. Thank you for the waste of time.

We have been going there couple of years and the service has been excellent. We like the doctors, can get in fairly quickly, and is a bit cheaper than done other vets.

Went to take my Cat to be uthenized on a Sunday Afternoon. While Most Vets and Animal Hospitals were closed they were open and answered all my questions and concerns. They were very patient through the whole process of me making decisions about my cat.

Very unprofessional. You call to ask a question and they pretend they can hear you.

Thought whomever answered the phone was rude. Asked a question, she put me on hold and after a long wait, I gave up and hung the phone.

Great Vet. I have insurance with Banfield and due to never having immediate appointments, I always go here and pay out of pocket for the services. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It's not fancy or has any bells and whistles (still on paper charting) but it is affordable and the quality of services is the same or better than the national competitors.

Awful place. Dirty and smelly, longest wait times and extremely disrespectful. Came here 3 times hoping for a different experience each time but instead each time I got a dirty attitude and rude comments from the vet.

My Dad went on a Easter Sunday, mind you he is senior citizen in his 80's who has a limited income, and loves his doggy, but they still charged my poor dad $500 , and referred him to another clinic, which is bs they should have refunded at 1/2 his money back , the other place wanted 150 just to walk in to get seen!! This is so wrong !! They said work with u, he is senior, and on a fixed income, they took advantage of him because of his love for his doggy, shame on u! U should have refunded it if u weren't going to help him,

This is a terrible place to take your pet unless you have a lot of money. The vet overcharges for services and is rude. I took my cat here because he was limping. I could not get an appointment with his regular vet until the following week. The vet assistant showed no compassion to my cat. My cat was nervous. The vet acted like he didn't want to touch my cat. He was not friendly at all. I had trouble bringing up a coupon on Yelp. The receptionist worked with me an hour trying to get it to redeem. The vet still would not honor the coupon. They were supposed to give me antibiotics. The vet charged me the price for antibiotics but gave me cheaper pain pills. I didn't get an itemized receipt. It is not worth it to argue and get the correct pills. I asked to pay for part of the treatment and to come back and pay for more at a later date. He refused. He was also intimidating. He was pressuring me to pay. He threatened that he would not treat my cat at all.

oday I went to the animal hospital to take my dog, and on the door there is a sign that says that there is a maximum capacity of one person along with their pet. I went to try to get in the building with my son, and they told him to stay out so I went in with my dog and they told me to come back later to pick up the medicine for my dog. Then in they told me to come back in three hours, so I do go alone, then when I get there I see there was a couple along with their pet, this upset me. So I tell the receptionist in front of the doctor angrily, "The sign on the door says one person at a time, I didn't know there were exceptions, and if there are how could you let my son in when he is a translator for me". I ended up not knowing whether there are exceptions for entry or not. But, the main issue for me, isn't the fact there were two people, my problem is that they were two white American people and the doctor and staff were also white, yet I'm a person of color, Cuban, and they tell me that I can't have two people at once. It sounds like an overreaction but like at these trying times, ultimately this is the last thing they should let happen, how could you tell me to my face that the sign says there is only one person allowed at a time then I come back later and you have two people in there at once. It doesn't make sense. Basically, if you're gonna make exceptions, put it on the sign outside your door.

The vet was very very nice. You can tell he really cares for animals. The lady who took my money at the end was nice as well. The rest of the staff is completely unprofessional and rude. They are young immature people who don't know anything about customer service. The skinny guy who is a tech was extremely rude and pushy trying to rush me to make a very important decision about my dog's treatment. Besides the fact that they are open late....this place is horrible. They need better staff.

You guys as professionals claiming no chip on a pet should know better that not all chips are universally read by all scanners. So by golly I hope you guys have a scanner that scans for ALL chips because someone here is lying. How is the shelter going to contact the owners to pick up their pet but YOU claim there is NO chip. Something does not add up at all. You should also know by now that chips can move.

I just had a very panicked evening with my poor doggie but these guys took her in super fast and last minute and helped me so much. Thank you to the doctor that helped me and the techs what a caring experience!

I brought my little 7 week old pug puppy here for a check up bc he had thrown up a bit. The vet staff was extraordinary and could see the worry in my eyes but assured me it was okay and I could ask any questions. I felt very comfortable and the prices are good. Only thing people may not like is that it’s walk in only, no appointment. But that was perfect for me because every other vet told me I couldn’t come in until several days later and I was so glad I could come here. I will be returning for his shots and every other check up to assure the well being of my pup. Thank you again!

I took my cat there, she was literally dying (unresponsive but breathing) and they said they were too trying to stabilize an animal so I needed to go somewhere else. I mean is there only one Dr there? That's horrible. Plus there was a limo outside , I think they were just trying to make money off people who had money. Anyway never going back, they let your pets die. Definitely not an animal hospital.

$240 for antibiotics and pain meds? This "practice" should be ashamed of themselves! This is what is wrong with capitalism....

They saved my kitty after she was desleaved by what I can only imagine was a coyote. The where so great with her and even though it was a couple of grand I know for what they did to save her it would have been way more somewhere else. So much more good things to say about them but no more time right now.

Staff was amazing. Their initial consultation fee was only $35. 1/3 of the cost of other centers. Immediately took my sick puppy in. I highly recommend. And I drove the staff crazy looking for my keys which I left in the car. But they helped search.

Dr. Wilson is just plain RUDE!! First of all, he was talking to me like if I was dumb, AND second of all, he goes out of the room just to talk about me and make fun of me when I can clearly hear him through the walls, way to treat your customers doc! The 1 star is for the other Dr. (Torres, I think is his name) he was actually very kind when I talked to him. If you want to get treated with respect go somewhere else.

❤❤❤❤????If u love your animal and want to save big go to LA Vetenarian Center near 2 hospital by East LA ❤❤❤❤ PS: this place is really expensive and they are known for making fake emails and posting good stuff on the google page so gotta stay relevant for the love of your animal❤❤❤❤ If you are in this Vetenarian hospital and you see this post please leave now.. This place is really expensive. So my first visit here i brought over my dog who had gotten hit by a car. His hind leg was split open and his bone femur bone was broken, so i take him for xrays which end up costing 400$ alone on top of that the male veterinarian with an assent only bandaged did and cleaned he couldn't stitch up my dog and did not want to give me antibiotics and ended up costing me 680$ this is the worst place I'm sure this is the reason why many pet owners end up losing hope and let their animal's Die please avoid this Vetenarian hospital... Then i went over to LA Vetenarian Center and they charged 180 for more xrays and they gave me antibiotics, pain killers and pills for inflammation for 1/4 of their price please reconsider this place and leave immediately ????????❤❤

The Santa Fe Springs facility is great. The After Hours staff and veterinarian I just saw this afternoon need training. A visit there is not worth the wait.

I bring my cat and dog here for their treatment and I love the staff. Doctor Torres is great with my dog who is iffy about new people. I can tell he really loves animals and is very informative and helpful. I like to call ahead to see if there's a better time to bring my pets in. The doctor is very through with check ups and they're very up front with pricing so you know what you're looking at in terms of price. I highly recommend this place.
