Banfield Pet Hospital Northridge, California

Very nice lady. She helped me a lot answering a lot of my questions.

My pup (10 years young) is very nervous when going to the vet- much less going to a new vet. They treated her with absolute care! The only thing I will say is be prepared to book your appointments way in advanced. Seems like they are very busy.

So many dogs, will be going back to opening drop off my kitty

So bad where do I begin. Puppy had blood in its stool. They took results gave me back results vet unavailable to tell me results. Didn’t know if should take my puppy to emergency or not. Called another Banfield to get doctor to explain results. Their doctor explained results in 5 minutes shocked Northridge left me hanging! Then charged me for meds I never got or asked for. Wouldn’t credit. Or give me meds! Manager was abusive and rude! Run away from Northridge Banfield this place is awful

I really appreciate the way they took care of our family pets...

Their wellness plan is amazing. I actually feel safe with leaving my fur baby there and picking her back up know that she is in great caring hands.

Never have the prescription food my dog needs

GREAT ENVIRONMENT, STAFF & VET! ABOVE AND BEYOND SERVICE.

I have been going to Banfield Pet Hospital in Northridge for 2 years. The service is great if there is no issues. Can not get an appointment if there is a problem with your pet. They do not reply to voice mail. My Dog had a bad ear infection and I tried calling the office, leaving message since I could not get a person to pick up the phone. This went on for 5 days. So I went to the office with out an appointment. The vet acted like he was doing me a favor see my pet that had a ear infection. Would not recommend this office. Will be looking for a new vet to care for my babies.

My MaltiPoo wasn’t doing well. He was losing weight, getting weak and had no interest in play, his eyes looked sad. He also had frequent loose stools, was always hungry and super thirsty. I had taken him to a few vets who meant well. At least they ruled out pancreatitis and diabetes and made suggestions for diet. Finally I tried Banfield figuring what do we have to lose. They assigned the dog to Dr Del Pino. She looked over his medical history and listened to my story. She recommended bloodwork that many people opt not to do because of the cost, but I didn’t care, so I asked her to please do it if she thinks it might give us some answers. Well, it did. It showed he had ‘Pancreatic Insufficiency’. His pancreas wasn’t producing necessary enzymes for metabolism of nutrients. Dr. DelPino recommended EpiEnzyme which I have been giving him ever since. Miraculous! His stool became formed and less frequent and he started gaining weight. I don’t feel his bones anymore! He got his life back, he runs, grabs toys and plays. And he looks happy ????. I am grateful for the professional smarts of Dr DelPino and Banfield.

They take care of your pets with care

They have some great personnel there. Dr. Del Pino really knows her stuff. For for years she's the only one who See's my dogs. I realize the seriousness of Covid-19 but I would like to be there when my dog is being check-out. I do feel a lot of questions or statements are forgotten when it's always a phone call when exam/procedure is already completed. Other then that, great place.

Darby, my Shi Tzu has life threatening respiratory problems. While referring me to another specialist, this is beyond my means. Dr. Valencia is doing her best to keep my buddy comfortable. Tumors happen. Bummer

AAA+++ Great staff, courteous, all around great.

3.5 stars. Just very busy even if you have a specific time. They do take good care of your pets. If you're not part of the wellness plan, it's extremely exquisite cuz its already expensive with the wellness plan

Awesome, standalone Banfield location. I’ve never seen a standalone location in LA. Cool! They were super helpful.

Great customer service! They called me over three times to keep me updated on a procedure they were performing on my two senior pups. I switched over to this office from the canoga park location in pet smart, they were to small and staff are rude.
