We found Cali Koi while searching online for Japanese koi. Christian spent a great amount of time explaining the different types of koi and the intricacies of each variety. His expertise really helped us better understand the different types of fish. His technical knowledge of water conditions and environment are extremely helpful too. All of his fish are premium quality imported from Japan. Both Christian's passion and expertise makes doing business with him so much more than a transaction.

First time going to Cali Koi was a few weeks ago and I have already been back again. The quality of fish that Cali Koi has are top notch, the colors and variety are amazing. I will go not go anywhere else for Koi, Christian the owner is also very nice and patient, he spends the time to info you of the differences of the fish.

I wish I would have found Christian and Cali Koi sooner!! This place is awesome and so is Christian. I have been struggling with a sick fish for weeks and have been searching and reaching out to various different people to try and come up with a plan on how to treat my fish. I finally came across Cali Koi and gave Christian a call. He was so knowledgeable and was able to help me come up with a plan to get my fish the treatment that he needs to hopefully make a full recovery. Not only did he know what to do but he also was able to supply me with the proper products at a great price. This place is the best! We had a sick fish that was floating upside down for a week or two but was still swimming around. He provided us with a water treatment that fixed little Lebowski right up! Can not recommend this place enough.

Cali Koi is a great place to shop for quality Koi. The prices are very reasonable from good quality fish breeders in Japan. The feed they sell is also top quality. I've been feeding my Koi for over a year and my fish haven't developed any disease and have more than doubled in size. If you are into Koi or just starting out get quality fish. You may pay more but in the long run you won't lose. I can't say enough about Cali Koi. Its best to call ahead and make an appointment. Check it out you'll be impressed.

I had a problem with my pond. And many of my koi fishes were dying. I went to his store for help and he was willing to help me. He gave me some medication for my fishes and he also gave tips for the future and how to diagnose problems. He also gave tips on how to care for them to prevent future deaths. He also gave me medication for the fishes and he told me I could pay him later for the medication and for now just care for the fishes as they are dying. Overall he is a great person and offers great assistance.

Christain’s passion and knowledge about these magnificent fish is unparalleled. He visits Japan often to meet with breeders and can rattle off in Japanese the names of the numerous types. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who loves what he does as much as Christian at Cali Koi. Over the past couple of years I’ve purchased several of his koi for my 9’X13’ water garden pond and each one is thriving. The koi food he also sells is top notch!

Christian is more than willing to help you with any questions you have and is more than fair on his prices. I live over 2000 miles away from Christian and he is still my go to guy for any koi questions I have. I even buy my food and supplies from him.
