Mariners Mile Pet Clinic Newport Beach, California

SO happy I found this local clinic. The staff was stellar and made me feel very comfortable. Doctor Boyker went above and beyond. Answered all of my questions and was very thorough. This will be my new place to take my precious pup!

Doctors Nichols and Boyker and the entire team were incredible during Pete's lifetime. He went through some issues as many dogs do, and they were so kind to Pete but also very accessible and communicative to me. We got through torsion, stomach and personality issues. Truly, they were an integral part to the incredible and rewarding experience of living with this dog. Thanks for all the support during (and after!) my time with Pete. These folks are the best.

Dr. Nichols and team are fantastic. I've been going to Mariners Mile since I moved to OC almost 10 years ago. The care and compassion cannot be beat and the cost is very reasonable.

The staff are very caring & loving towards our kitties. The prices are reasonable and we've always had great service. Over the years we've used other vets in Newport-Mesa area, but once we discovered Dr Boyker at Mariners we've never gone elsewhere.

The staff is incredibly friendly here. When we take our dog Gucci there they always know him and treat him so good. I couldn't ask for a better experience for him. He actually likes going to the vet. They give him shots and he is ok with it because he likes them. Dr. Nichols is so good and really cares about animals and the time of their owners. She is quick and direct with what is going on. We could not have found a better pet clinic.

We take our golden retriever puppy here, and we couldn't be happier with the service we've received. When our pup fell ill, they continued to call us to check in on him after they treated him. We also enjoyed the free bath that they gave him!

I moved to OC late last year and Mariners Mile Pet Clinic was recommended to me by a friend. I started bringing my 2 (now 3) dogs there and could not be happier. The technicians and doctors are true animal lovers! They take the time to get to know your pet, showing kindness and compassion in everything they do. Every interaction my dogs have had with the staff has been stellar and I feel so comfortable in the expertise and knowledge of the doctors who treat them. 2 thumbs up and a 5 star review. These guys are the best!

I took my dog to this clinic while travelling in June, we needed a stamp in the pet passport confirming good health and the administration of Milbemax. I brought the pill with me to ensure the appointment will go smoothly. As part of the health check, my dog’s temperature needed to be taken. The petite female nurse with blonde hair in a ponytail entered to take his temperature, she was aggressive and rough with my dog that weighed only 4 lbs. My dog was yelping in pain as she pushed half the thermometer in him with force. Despite his protest she continued to push the thermometer in him until he was screaming. I yelled for her to stop but she didn’t stop until the second time I shouted. She did not apologise and appeared to have not cared for the pain she’s caused. There’s no need to put 3/4 of the thermometer in a dog to take the temperature. So cruel. The more senior experienced female vet came in after that and the rest of the appointment was normal. However I cannot understand the need to hurt an innocent animal during such a simple procedure. I would not let anyone but the older and more experienced vet to take the temperature of your animal.

The techs were very nice and professional. Dr. Boykler was very thorough with my dog, Tessa, and I have confidence in her recommendations.

Found myself in Mariners Mile Pet Clinic just this last week and the vets, the staff, the facilities are all dedicated to treat animals with tender, loving and intelligent care. I highly and unconditionally recommend Mariners Mile Animal Hospital for all those looking for the best of care for their pets.

Been doing business with Dr Nichols for years she has another Dr on staff she is awesome too. Everyone at that clinic has consistently provided great compassionate care for my pets and excellent service. I have moved from Newport Beach to Huntington Beach harbor and still go to mariners

I have 3 dogs and 2 cats so the vet experience can be overwhelming. But, Dr. Boyer and Dr. Nichols both provide outstanding care for my extended family. You are not rushed through an appointment. They take the time to get to know your pet, explain any procedures or medication, and offer immediate and preventative care. Highly recommend!

We are very happy with the way Dr. Nicholls takes the time and patience to explain to us about our pet "GEORGIE'S" test /lab results. We know our pet is in excellent hands. Dr. Nichols is a great Vet....very knowledgeable in her field. I have recommended my daughter and grand daughter to Dr. Nichols and they are very impressed with her. The staff there is very friendly and helpful.

Miracle Mile Pet Clinic is an outstanding facility with exceptional veterinarians and pet care. Dr. Nichols is a stellar diagnostician. I have witnessed first-hand her dedication to her profession and saving the lives of pets that had received inaccurate diagnoses previously or were extremely ill with not a lot of time to determine what treatment was needed. She is the one veterinarian you can count on to have your pet treated thoughtfully and accurately. Dr. Nicols also works with the best veterinary colleagues and specialists. Dr. Boyker is outstanding and takes the same care and intelligent approaches to treatment. The back office technicians are knowledgeable and efficient, the clinic will bathe and treat pets right and the clinic is a one-stop shop for food and medicines. I cannot recommend this clinic enough!

Love everybody. They have taken wonderful care of all my animals for almost 20 years.

I've been really happy with Dr. Nichol's and the technicians especially Haily who have helped me with my previous cat Mongo and my new rescue Otis. Mongo was a senior who had some issues that Dr. Nichol's helped maintain in her twilight years. When I finally had to put her down, Mongo was in great hands and the transition was really smooth. I now have a rescue named Otis and again, Dr Nichol's and her team are doing a great job with his ailments and even call to check on his progress. I really appreciate her knowledge, care and also understanding also appreciate her understanding that I'm freelance so have cashflow issues. So the staff provide me with good estimates and options for a care plan that fits my budget. I give the clinic 4 paws and 4 starts.

Our dog trainer recommended Dr Nichols at Mariners Mile Pet Clinic, and we've been very happy with the service and treatment of our dog Echo. We don't feel rushed, as they take the time to listen to us, answer questions, and provide explanations. Also quite prompt service, which we appreciate.

This is the dirtiest place I have ever taken my dog. Whatever you do don't go there!! Stay away there is dog's feces not cleaned up properly on the floor. The staff is rude. Use lido animal hospital down the street. Much better service and a clean facility!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Took my dog to the clinic to get a food allergy test waited a month for the results. It came back my dog is allergic to Cockroaches. Dr. Nichols and staff didn't want to take any accountability for the mistake so I disputed the card! Now they sent the issue to collections and they feel they did a service they should get paid for except the service isn't the one I ordered. BEWARE OF INCOMPETENCY!!
