Upfront it seems like they take well care of the dogs here but behind the scenes is totally different. Nancy is very unprofessional and overall not a good person. She has her meth and steroid addicted son Jesse working there and I have witnessed him pulling the dogs by the leash choking them. They constantly have new people working there so seeing their turnover rate should say something either they hire unqualified people or treat their employees wrong. There was one girl working there before i believe her name was amanda she was great very nice and seemed to love her job and the dogs if it wasn't for her I wouldn't give this place even one star. STAY AWAY!!!! there's other places In the area that are WAAAYYY better

I would give them 10 out of 5 stars if I could. I used to work at a pet resort and have boarded dogs at many different places but none compare to the quality of service CCCC provides. Jesse is the definition of animal lover and more specifically dog lover. The only thing I worry about when dropping off my dog is that she'll enjoy her stay too much and not want to go home with me when I pick her up. Thank you Nancy and Jesse for always going above and beyond to care for all of our dogs!!!

Just a great place. Staff very friendly. My 2 Portuguese Water Dogs love this place. Once we turn on the street they start to get excited. Out of the car, they run to the door to be let in the office.

My now husband and I had a 2 week honeymoon trip planned, immediately following our wedding. We adopted a rescue about a year ago and we wanted to feel comfortable with who we left him with. This was my first time taking my dog to Coast Canine Country Club. I called and made a reservation for our dog, Benny, about 1 week before our trip. I gave them our information and they confirmed the reservation details with me. When it came time to drop him off, on our way to LAX airport, we dropped him off at 6:45 pm. A lady came to the door and first of all, had no idea who Benny was. That made us nervous. Then she said “sorry we close at 6:00.” I said “oh I did not know. I was not told when I made the reservation. But It’s only 6:45, can you still take him? We are on our way out of the country on our honeymoon now.” She was very rude and cold, and said “No. It’s too late.” Completely heartless, given our situation to catch our flights. Not only was I not told, or called ahead of time as a reminder if it was getting late, but they did not even know who we were. I told her “But you’ve already confirmed this reservation. We’ve already entrusted him to you to take care of.” Then she started yelling at us. Actually yelling. I could not believe how she treated us. We were STUNNED by how poor her customer service skills were. The excitement of our honeymoon quickly turned to panic. We were then left in a huge bind, on our way to the airport. We called our friends and family and had to scramble to figure out what to do with our dog. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT take your dog here to this lady. Dogs are like family, and you want to feel safe about who you leave them with. This lady is unprofessional and rude. She should not be trusted with your pets.

The happiest place on earth for your canine companions.

Personally, I would not recommend sending your dog here. My bulldog stayed here while we were on vacation and died due to an important health condition that the caretakers apparently didn't pay much attention to. They proceeded to make us PAY for his stay, after picking up his bed and food. :(

Many years ago, we had to take our two labs here for 9 weeks while our house was being repaired after a fire. It ended up that it was more like three months before they could come home. Stevie and her staff were so amazing with our dogs and so loving that when we went to visit and take them for a ride and to a dog park they almost didn't want to leave. When we approached CCCC to take them back they got so excited to be back there that we almost felt a little hurt. Then we used them every time we had to go out of town and they were always excited to be back there. When our oldest dog at almost 15 was no longer able to move around much and couldn't handle being outdoors, we were moving out of state and couldn't take her with us. We were devastated, but Stevie took her in and gave her a home for several months, mostly at their expense, until the time came for her to go peacefully. We were unable to go back to California to be with her, but the entire staff, save one, went to the Vet's to be with our Tasha and love her thru to her last breath. I know that my husband and I will be forever grateful and in their debt for the wonderful, reasonably priced, over the top loving care they gave our dogs each and every day they were in their care. You can't find that just anywhere! I would say you should give this place a chance because people don't change that much and stay in business this long. If you do, look for a picture of Tasha somewhere on their mantle!

Owner has no appreciation for her clientele (I assume she was the owner or she would have been fired for her completely abusive behavior). When I was trying to understand the bill (they have a very confusing weekend pickup policy which I was trying to understand the number of days used to calculate the bill) the owner exploded into a rage. Completely inappropriate and uncalled for... Crazy...I have been a loyal customer and advocate for CCCC in the past, but this outburst was unprofessional and disturbing. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE-THERE ARE NO SHORTAGES OF GREAT KENNELS THAT ARE HAPPY TO TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS AS WELL AS THE HOUNDS!!! THEY DO NOT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS.

I had a older small dog with health issues. Stevie and the gang at Coast Canine CC took him in and gave him a warm place to sleep and smothered him with love, where other places refused to take him or would make him sleep in an exterior kennel (he was an indoor dog). The whole gang at CCCC are nothing but the best.
