All the employees are so nice and treat your dog as if it was their own. Dr. De La Torre is amazing. She explains everything in detail and makes your dog feel comfortable.

Got two knee surgeries for my pup, and the staff here were fantastic. After my dogs first CCL year, we shopped around for the right treatment. I found Valley Lyons, and found that they were much more affordable compared to every other vet in Los Angeles. He ended up tearing both knees within two years, and they handled both surgeries. He’s been healed from his last surgery for almost 2 years now. Although he has some arthritis creeping up, you’d never know he went through two knee surgeries. I’m forever thankful they could bring him back to his energetic and bouncy self.

We recently added a new puppy to our family bringing our total to 3 dogs. All of them WERE under the care of Valley Lyons Pet Hospital. Not anymore. We inherited the new owners from Dr. Kwon (who we loved btw). We won't be going back. We took our puppy in for shots and of course they wanted to examine her and do a stool sample. Fine. After the first stool sample she was positive for a parasite. The next stool sample showed she was positive for the parasites again. So we continue the medicine and delivered the 3rd stool sample. Again positive for the parasite. So the vet calls and was shocked to hear that we had other dogs (all of which he's seen personally). So we've been going round and round for 3 weeks and it never came up via cross reference of our address or phone number that our other dogs could be spreading it back and forth. When I called to ask them to do the other stool samples for the 2 other dogs for free they said they would not do it. I'd have to pay which I think they should take care of since this should've been noticed before. When the vet spoke to me he said he couldn't make the decision to do the samples for free. I asked him to have the owner ( or someone who could make a decision over $80 to call me) 5 minutes later I got a call from one of the office personnel saying I'd have to pay for the samples. I've spent thousands there and they can't accommodate me for $80. Go there at your own risk but hang on to your wallet.

I have brought my 2 dogs here for 6 years now and am sad to say I am searching for a new veterinarian after my latest visit. Long story short – I waited 50 minutes past my appointment time to be seen (which has NEVER happened before), I was not told there would be a long wait or that they were behind schedule. I was told bloodwork would be done to prepare for necessary dental work and days later told they received the bloodwork results, only to be informed today there was never any bloodwork done at all and I would need to return to start all over. I don’t recognize the front desk staff or veterinarian and believe the extreme drop in customer service level may be due to the new staff who are working there now. I drove 20+ minutes to this place for 6 years because of the consistently friendly and fast/easy interactions with staff that I trusted with my dogs’ care. I am sympathetic to the fact that everyone’s job is tougher right now because of the pandemic and all the accommodations that are necessary to ensure staff, customer, and pet safety - but good communication and genuine customer service goes a long way! Some ideas on how this could have been handled better: - Calling ahead to let me know they were running 50 minutes behind schedule so that I could wait to show up until later or letting me know upon arrival that they were about an hour behind schedule which would have allowed for me to go run an errand and wait until they were ready - Help people in order of arrival, not based on who knows the front desk staff. I watched someone with the same appointment time as me, who came in after me, get helped before me because they knew the blonde woman with tattoos. If there is a different order in which you help customers, maybe check in with those who are waiting to let them know how many people are in front of them or what the approximate wait time is. - Slow down and make sure the work that is discussed is completed during the visit. Mistakes happen but I can’t help but think things are falling through the cracks because of how many and how quickly pets are being seen. This office lost my trust with this – if you forget to do bloodwork (which is required to do the main procedure I went in for) and then incorrectly confirm you’ve received it only to double back and say it was never done at all, makes it clear that there are numerous oversights happening. I do not trust my dogs to be in good care there anymore. - Be honest about wait times – both for the wait time to be seen and for the lab results. I understand there are current COVID-19 related delays for lab work but just say that up front to temper expectations. I had to wait 9 days instead of the 2 I was led to believe in order to find out that my dog’s lump was not a malignant tumor. - Be apologetic if a mistake is made on the office’s part – especially if the mistake means there is a delay in necessary preventative/medical care for a pet.

I really trust this hospital. They are very good with my cats who are not easy to control. They have no problems. They are well trained on how to handle a cat. I also get affordable service.

Two days ago, I came here because my dog felt very bad. the nurse made a bill for $ 486 where medicines were prescribed, but I did not agree to pay for medicines because we did not know the problem of my dog's illness. I said to do a blood test, a stool test, and one shot. the nurse vowed to assure me that the result of the analysis will be May 29 at 10 am but when I called this clinic I heard that the analysis was not done. my dog is dying. I was hoping that after receiving the test results, they would prescribe her treatment. but the workers simply deceived me and did not return the money, but most importantly I didn’t get the test result to choose the right treatment. My dog is hospitalized in another clinic. Beware of contacting here. You may lose your pet due to their dishonest and unprofessional work.

I've been taking my dog to Valley Lyons Pet Hospital for 6 years. The entire staff from the Doctor, the desk personnel & all the nurses are always kind, very professional & they handle my dog daughter with the utmost care. My dog has had to have three surgeries. I'm very pleased with the out come of each one. I am impressed with the doctor's skills, & his genuine compassion for animals & their pet owners. After each surgery the doctor has always followed up by asking how my dog was recovering while at home. (5 Stars)

We've been clients of Dr. Garha for 13 years. He's taken care of our pug since he was 4 months old and continues to exceed our expectations. I highly recommend their services.

Valley Lyons Pet Hospital has been amazing to both my fur babies Buttercup and Sweet Pea. The staff is so friendly and professional. It is very easy to make an appointment for any service. My fur babies feel comfortable there and that's a big plus. I have taken them to other vets before I found Valley Lyons , and we were not comfortable at all. Dr. Garha is amazing. He explains everything and is very kind and understanding. Buttercup had dental surgery recently, and she healed so well and is so energetic and back to her normal self. I would never go anywhere else. There are many vets to choose from, but I am very happy with Valley Lyons and my vet. I would highly recommend for any service, from basic check ups to major surgery, they are professional and kind. The prices for service is very reasonable and affordable. Having 2 fur babies can get expensive, but the prices and service that they provide is unbeatable! Thank you so much to the staff and Dr. Garha for the wonderful service that you provide!

I've been coming to this clinic for 6 years now and felt it's time to write a review. I appreciate how the staff is always willing to work with you and Dr. Sharma is really great. In January I had to bring my dog in because she was limping and he took his time evaluating her. After analysing the x-ray, he thought we should start with some medication first, instead of going through an aggressive approach. I really appreciated that and thankfully the medication has been working. I would definitely recommend Dr.Sharma.

My pet is a rescue dog and is now a year plus. Toby is high energy and generally uncomfortable with males until he gets to know them. He has learned commands and enjoys playing with other dogs. Dr. Sharma has done an excellent job of caring for Toby. The vets' demeanor has been exceptional at helping our dog to adjust, plus receive professional care. Dr. Sharma is a vet I would recommend to other pet owners.

I have been taking my pets to Valley Lyons Pet Hosptial for years. WE had tried another vet a couple years ago, when ownership changed. I gave them another chance and am happy I did. The new doctor/vet is more attentive and knowledgeable. Love that Jess is back up front.

I just want to thank Dr Sharna and staff for bring there for me when I decided to put my cat down. They were so kind and understanding and the doctor explained everything to me at my level. The cost was reasonable. If I decide to get another furry child I will definitely bring the cat or dog to this office.
