Midtown Veterinary Clinic really went out of their way to help us. We found out that we needed a last minute vaccine to be able to board our pup. They fit us in at 545PM on a Friday night 15 minutes after we found out we needed the shot. They really helped us out! We appreciate the great service.

My senior dog was having difficulty urinating suddenly and I was unable to get her in to any of my local vets for over a week out! I called Midtown this morning and they were so kind and helpful - they squeezed us in and were very compassionate and thoughtful with me. I was worried about this being an end of life problem and Dr. Thomas helped ease my mind and provided great instruction on how to keep her healthy and happy! Well worth the drive if you are no longer local - only vet I will go to now!

One morning our pocket beagle wasn't herself difficult walking would't eat and (she always likes to eat) we called our regular vet and they couldn't see her untill the following week. A friend recommended Midtown and they squeezed her in that day.!! Dr Thomas was awesome he did an exame diagnosed the problem and prescribed some medication, the office staff where great friendly and helpful. Our beautiful Abrie is back to her hungry self.

This is the second time Dr. Thomas has pushed expensive treatments or procedures on us without justification. Dr. Thomas relies on scare tactics so you will immediately let him operate on your pet. This was the last time I am setting foot on that practice.

They saw my ginny that very same day I email a few places asking if they had drs that work with Ginny pigs! Upper respiratory infection he is on and I by Antibiotics now and seems to be doing much better, checking back in on monday! Thank you to this vet and the people working here!

Caring Hands, my usual go-to vet was filled up, so when my dog’s eye was weeping and he was squinting I took my dog here. After paying the substantial fee my dog was returned home with drops. -0- improvement. My dog was taken back in, fee again paid, doc said “dog is fine”. I e’mailed the clinic explaining that my dog’s eye was still weeping, he was still squinting .... I asked why? No response. I phoned today, August 14. I reiterated the history. I told them that I did not want to have to pay -again- for a problem that has not been addressed. I had explained from the beginning that this very thing had happened a couple years back and that when original drops did not work he was then Rx’d another type of drop plus an ointment - which did the trick. This must have not phased the doctor who simplify wanted me to come back in yet again and pay a third time, saying he would “just recheck” - which is what he had said the second time. This whole time my dog (a very intelligent Aussie) has been in irritated pain. I have had every kind of animal for decades, and if you are an animal lover, you know what I’m taking about when I say that you know when something is wrong with yours. I have vast and years of experience with veterinarians — I found this vet to be on the incompetent side and I will never go back here.

I recommended them to my neighbor who's vet was booked for at least a week. They saw her pup right away! Calmed her nerves and made her day! I can't thank them enough!

Everyone there is friendly and helpful. They strive to get you the appointment and attention you and your pet need as fast as possible.

Everyone from the technicians in the treatment area (hi Miguel and gang!), to the office staff (hey ladies!) And to the two doctors, Dr. Thomas and Dr. Folse, are absolutely amazing! Espicially when your cat's favorite flavor is "human flesh", they all still love him and do what's best! Fantastic!

I have a Dutch rabbit which has some dry fur on his back, I did'nt know it was mites eating away at his skin, I now give him Revolution once a month. Thank U

Torri did my dogs pedicure Monday, which is hard for most, since he is dramatic. So it may not seem like much, but she did so well with him and he came out happy, instead of upset. Very much appreciated her!

My first visit to Dr. Thomas was, honestly, the best vet experience I have ever had. He is caring, knowledgeable, and took the time to make sure I understood my cat's condition. I came to Midtown when my cat, Lilly, was having difficulty urinating. Dr. Thomas was extremely thorough in figuring out the cause. Even more impressive was his ability to walk me through the test results and how he came to his final diagnosis. The bad news was my Lilly had crystals in her bladder. The good news was Dr. Thomas put Lilly on special food to see if that would eliminate the crystals instead of jumping right into surgery. After a month on special food, Lilly is crystal free! I am so grateful for Dr. Thomas' wonderful care!

Our one year old dog needed surgery for patella luxation. Dr. Thomas performed the surgery for a price well under what vet hospitals in Ventura and the valley were going to charge. In fact, the procedure came out to be less than the lowest price described in the estimate. The surgery went great, recovery was easy, and everyone at the clinic was so helpful and caring throughout the process. I needed to come back in to have her bandage re-wrapped (her cone came off one night and she chewed on the bandage) and the doctor did not charge for the visit. Many neighbors and friends use this clinic- I’m so glad we were referred! Both doctors are knowledgeable and you can trust you are in very good hands.

Tired of feeling like just a number at the other vets in town who have grown too big? (You know who I am talking about.) This hometown vet treats you like family and truly cares about your pet. The doctors really try to get to the bottom of the issues and work out a plan. And the office staff is caring and always has a smile for me. Love this place!

We recently moved and had to change vets but we have been going to this vet for years so when my cat got an infected abscess, we knew where we wanted to take him for a second opinion. Midtown ended up agreeing with the vet we went to …

My 2 dogs have always had incredibly bad anxiety in other vet clinics. As we've been bringing them to Midtown for the past year, they have been noticeably more and more comfortable in a clinic setting. The front office staff always greets them and makes them feel welcomed, and are always down for a kiss or love from our fur babies. You can tell the employees in back genuinely care about the level of care given to the animals, and that Dr. Thomas has years of experience and knowledge and makes sure I understand and that I'm comfortable with any procedure necessary for the health of my pets. Very happy I started bringing my animals here.

Dr. Thomas is a very caring and compassionate man. He takes his time to explain everything to me which is very helpful. I have 6 dogs and have been taking them to this office for 2 years. So far it has been a great experience. The girls in the office, Judy, Jody and Debbie are the best! Love them all!

Fantastic vet! The entire staff have cared for all of our pets for the past 15 years. They are knowledgeable and have provided great care and comfort to our dogs, cats, and rabbit.

I will be moving on from this vet. Bad experience with 2 dogs and mis- diagnosis. Frustrated with the level of care. Not good. Constantly upsells on needless drugs and Meds. Now using another vet.

Have used them for over 30 years! Dr. Martin was a very caring, compassionate and wonderful veterinarian. Once he retired, it all went downhill fast. What use to be a warm and personal experience is more like a cattle drive, you feel like just a number. It seems the business is more about the money than it is about quality of care and the love of animals. Appointments are never on time, usually end up waiting 15 to 30 minutes past the appointment time only to be shuffled off into an examination room to wait yet once again. I paid for a slew of tests on one of my dogs, still have been waiting since March for a return call on the test results . . . I gave up and moved on.

Love coming for vaccines. Another time came when my dog was bleeding from her nose and they helped me right away. Staff is great!!

This place was awsome from the start the office staff was so friendly and informative. The Dr was great and I have never had such a thorough exam for my little guy. I would highly recommend
