The most selfish money hunger greedy I ever met. Inconsiderate of others. Had me go there at least 20 times . Did paperwork ,put money down ,just to have her turn around and sell it to her friend. To top.it if after thinking about the entire scene ,not one bird was tame. Her husband wouldn't put his hand in their cages. I wanted to also buy my best friend a bird. Since she was forcing me to buy a ugly cage off her. . So I figured ok if my best friend likes it ill buy it n give it to him..only problem is there wasn't any bird I could buy to put in the cage. They all were wild ,from the 2 hrs 3 times a week ,if she has that much time for them. Go there try to buy a bird. Limited choice. Since her animals are wild from neglect. She puts plenty of food n water . Spends so little time with them that they tear up metal cages. If you need an attack bird, live in a rough part of town. Then this is the place to go. Her birds will attack.

This place has been great! Very helpful and knowledgable! My 12 year old is getting a bird from here and they have gone above and beyond with not only educating us, but making sure we get exactly that right experience! I cannot say enough good about this place! We will be recommending to everyone!

The negative reviews here are no joke and shouldn’t be taken with a grain of salt. What appears on the outside isn’t what’s real. The owner Jim is rude, condescending and extremely arrogant. They have bought birds from other breeders and sold from here so don’t assume it was “born” here. The almighty dollar is what reigns here.

Absolutely wonderful people, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here. I bought two wonderful little cockatiels for the flock I already currently have and I'm only hoping they'll acclimate well. I can tell they're extremely well hand-raised birds and I'm very impressed with how they handle everything with their birds. I would definitely come again and again. Very nice people.

9 years ago I went in for a bird and left with a Shih Tzu puppy ????. Surprisingly to me. Feather Farm isn’t known for their dogs but I had such a wonderful experience then. My grandfather passed away yesterday and today I woke up and realized it was time to get my baby. I brought my little Shih Tzu with me. Not only did it make the owners day, I finally found a baby Sun Conure I’ve always wanted. I put a down payment on her. She recommended that I come in frequently until she is ready to go home with us (about a week). She allowed me to sit with all 4 babies, interact with them and watch them. It was such a wonderful experience. It also made my day. Since my family news yesterday I’ve been having a rough time but having 4 babies in my presence made the hole in my heart smaller. I’m so happy that I waited to and came back to Feather Farm. Thank you for the wonderful experience today. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

This place is a blessing ???? I called 15 places looking for a bird groomer before finding this place . The name speaks for itself , it is really a bird farm . Just look for the bird statue keep left and follow the dirt road to the office. The sweetest staff answered all of my questions and offered helpful advice . Stephanie was a pro she groomed " Jack " my cherry headed conure perfectly . Stephanie and the guy assured me that I was doing right by him . I'm sorry I didn't get the other people's names . The guy helping Stephanie or the lady who ran the office. But they made Jack and I faithful customers. I'll be taking Jack there from now on . There were dozens of beautiful birds and babies there . All looked healthy , loved and cared for . They do DNA testing too ... I'll be taking jack in soon to have him tested . I thought all they had to do was take a feather or something like that but they have to collect blood . What struck me is how they truly cared about my bird . I wanted to get him tested right then but once they explained the procedure they said it would be best to do it on another visit because they didn't want to upset him twice in one day . Now they could have just taken my money and took his blood .. but they put my birds feelings first ???? I definitely recommend this place !

About 13 years ago we boarded our one parrot there and it got sick when it returned. My wife decided to give them a second chance to board our other parrot. She made a reservation, confirmed IN PERSON, and when she arrived to drop of our parrot she was told that they wouldn't take him, that we should have had a back up plan (!), and that we're putting our bird at risk for not having a back up plan (!!). So, they not only cancelled our reservation but insulted my wife. I honestly can't believe that they're still in business for treating people like this. If you give them money, you're complicit and encouraging their bad behavior. Skip them, buy your bird from a reputable shop (e.g. Your Basic Bird in Berkeley is an outstanding option for healthy birds). Don't ever use them, because they clearly don't need the money.

I enjoyed our visit here. The birds looked well taken care of. Their English Budgies were lovely, so we purchased a few.

Quite unhappy looked at website for days and hours of operation said Sunday 12 to 4. Drove out Sunday in the pouring rain. We are looking for 2 different birds. To find they were closed on Sunday. You really should fix your operating hours. Very disappointed.

For those of you bird lovers, this place has not only the items you may be looking for, but shares a wealth of experience related to a broad range of our featured friends. Even if you do not keep birds at home, visit and be astonished not only at the great variety but the various parrots outside their cages. I was pleased to see a family there with children purchasing a couple of smaller birds and cage , the look on the children's face said it all better than how I can describe. There is much more than wine in Napa Valley!
