Great price on if you have to put your dog down cuz I only had to be 60 bucks instead of paying over $100 or more for a vet to do it

Great place to adopt an animal. I've never done so, but have only ever heard Great Reviews about this Animal shelter. If you find that you are Residencially Challenged and have a dog, they'll give you a leash and Dog Food.

Napa County Animal Shelter welcomed Solano County residents when our Animal Control in Fairfield shutdown. That was very gracious of them. Solano is still shutdown, however, when they were open, it was always a professional and efficient place. Solano Animal Control will recommend alternative places, and for that I'm grateful.

I went into the cat room with my 5 yr old nephew. They let us stay as long as we wanted. They patiently answered his barrage of questions. I felt the cats & kittens were very well taken care of & there was no offensive odor. Overall, very positive experience.

Its a good place to go for whatever you need - a pet, volunteer, donate, receive donated items and/or pet food of all types. Still have to call and make an appointment and the time it goes to voicemail, thats because they are in there but on the other line. They don't have a good phone system.

We have had to put two cats down in the past year. The cost is $75 which includes disposal of the remains. The only bummer is that your not allowed to be in the room with your pet. It is clear that this is a caring organization and we have saved hundreds of dollars compared to going to the local veterinarian.

I never write negative reviews, but I really think people need to know about my situation. I met a dog last week and fell in love with him. I paid for him and they said to come today to pick him up. However, when I arrived they gave me the WRONG dog. I told them this wasn't the same dog. They then told me they gave the dog I had thought I paid for to another family accidentally and they were apologetic. They called the family and they didn't want to return the dog. It has been emotionally devastating and just a horrible experience. I am posting this for someone who may adopt from here to please make sure you are paying for the CORRECT dog so you don't end up in my situation. I never wish this experience on ANYONE.

Staff seems to be all over the place and confused. Unaware of processes and can’t seem to get simple tasks accomplished. The goal should be to get animals into good homes...

Took my oldest son to shelter to drop off a lost husky he found on our street. She was very friendly and thirsty. I had seen a guy walking her around in the past couple of weeks but didn't know her name or where she lived. She had no collar or micro chip. We went around the neighborhood to see if she acted like she recognized anything or if anyone recognized her, with no luck. So we decided the best thing to do was first post on Nextdoor about her and second take her to the shelter. That way if the owner was looking for her she would be there and be safe and taken care of. My son was told that after 3 days she would be put up for adoption (only 3 days because she was not micro chipped). As you can see in the pictures below, she is very beautiful and we are glad my son found her, before something horrible happened to her. Just hope that she will be reunited with her human. My son said the personnel at the shelter were very nice and friendly. They thanked him for his kind heart and caring so much for animal life and bringing the husky in instead of leaving her out there for possibly a worst fate including starving or being hit by a car and left with injuries or even death.

This is such a great place to pick up food and collars for your fur babies. The staff is wonderful and always willing to help. The kennels are always clean and the animals look very happy.

We did not adopt a dog today as a companion for our grieving doggy, but this place was terrific. Very helpful & attentive through the entire rescue process, and it's quick enough, however they spend a ton of time getting you and your dog acquainted with your potential canine friend. A big plus in my book. Organized and up to date, they really are good. Please consider rescue before anything else! These dogs are all so wonderful. Meghan is the best - get her if you can!!
