The Doctor and Staff were thoughtful, and professional. We had to make a difficult decision and every step was completed with care and kindness.

I booked my dog her first appointment with them because they had such amazing reviews! but woah was I wrong! The man i spoke to on the phone on Sep.15th was super rude! He raised his voice at me when I was just asking some questions.

I take all three of my dogs here and the doctor is very professional and patient with all of them even though one of them can be quite aggressive and yappy. The work they do is high quality and of great value because of the amount of care they treat their animals. When I first moved to the area I took my dogs to multiple vets that treated my dogs poorly, until I got to Temecula Valley Animal Hospital! I recommend this place to everyone I know with pets!

Dr. Down is a very caring Veterinarian. Her hospital uses aromatic oils to have a very relaxing and friendly environment. She takes her time to listen to the pet parents about their "babies" health problems.

Once again, we've had an amazing experience with TVAH, Dr. Downs and her team! They are so unbelievably friendly, accommodating and thorough. The couple times we've had to take our German Shepherd pup there (most recently yesterday), it's been pretty last minute and they've been able to fit her in same day or next day. The staff is always kind to us and loving to our girl. They really spend the time to know and remember the pets they care for. They always follow up post appointment to make sure everything is going smoothly at home. Most of our friends with dogs use Dr. Downs, which is why we starting going there when we got Mila and we are so happy we did. Definitely recommend!

Called on February 16th for a rabbies vaccine, the lady on the phone was rude, and the first available appointment was not until March 12th. Also they won't see my dog because he isn't a current patient

I have always had good experiences with Temecula Valley Animal Hospital. They are responsive, professional and their prices are reasonable. They don't recommend unnecessary treatments and don't overbook so wait times are within reason. Highly recommend Dr. Downs and TVAH!

Called to set up an emergency appointment because I was worried about my dog. This was the first place I called. The man I spoke to told me their earliest appointment was the last slot of the day. I told him I wanted to call around and see if I could find anything earlier around town, but asked if it were possible to book the appointment just in case I couldn’t get my dog checked on anywhere else earlier. He told me that they don’t want to do that because if I book it and someone else calls for an appointment, they’ll be full and if I cancel, they will suddenly have a free slot and no one spending any money there... Like wow. You could have just said no. It is clear that they are not worried about the wellness of our poor animals and only care about the money spent at their hospital. I haven’t been to this hospital, so I can’t say anything else other than this, but I really felt the need to review this conversation. So sad. I’d say only call here as your last resort. ***edit because I was looking back at reviews and I don’t appreciate the response calling me a liar. I shared my experience with friends and family. My sister responded and told me she could’ve told me not to go there herself. She went there years before this happened and this place was trying to charge her an excessive amount for her dog whose legs stopped working. They said he’d need thousands of dollars in surgery and he probably wouldn’t walk right again. She left crying. She went somewhere else and the doctor gave him vitamins and he was fine after that....

My family has taken 3 dogs here. All 3 have died. This place will do the minimum tests to find out if there’s anything wrong with your pet. Then send you home just to make another appointment and charge you more.

Dr. Downs and the entire staff are always so kind, honest and informative. They really take the time to get to know my pet and talk with me about anything. They do not over book appointments so they are really able to give patients their full attention and it is never busy so my cats who are already a little scared are not made even more scared. Highly recommend this veterinarian practice!

Nice staff all though I didnt like the social distance policy they had however like last time they got my cat better now he's back to being the brat that cat can be I'm glad they got my cat well

Definitely our favorite vet in the area. Great care, and reasonable prices. We cant thank you enough for answering all of our questions along the way with our litter of 9 German Shepherd pups.

We very much like the doctor and her staff. They are respectful, careful, creative and never seem to be pushing anything on us or guilting us for yet another expensive procedure. Instead, they are kind and loving of both their animal patients and us, their customers. I consider them the best in the valley and feel very well cared about as a customer and know my pups are loved and cared for by them.

I have been bringing my cats here for the last 4 years. They are always kind and helpful. Dr. Downs is so amazing and always takes the time to maks sure we understand and take care of my pets. The staff is so friendly and understanding. I love this place and will be bringing my animals for as long as we live here. I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

Excellent care given to my fur baby. Entire staff was amazing

I love Dr. Downs and the entire office at Temecula Valley Animal Hospital. The environment is calming and there is a really relaxed vibe. They team is all caring and compassionate and you can tell that they genuinely appreciate all creatures great and small. We have a shedding labradoodle that has social anxiety who stresses out when away from the house and Dr. Downs and her team were amazing with him. Not only did they help him relax, they also spent a lot of time in the room with us, which helped me relax. When we came for a follow-up, our shedding labradoodle was wagging his tail as he approached the door, ready to greet everyone. A visit to the vet can be stressful for any animal, whether or not they suffer from social anxiety and I don't think you will find a more caring, calming or compassionate place to take your furry family members.

Just got a new fur baby and felt wonderfully cared for by everyone at TVAH. They made us feel comfortable, informed, and made our baby feel loved. This is an exciting and challenging time but we are in great hands and learning lots of fear free practices to create a welcoming and loving home. We appreciate all the advice, guidance, and resources from the TVAH family.

The vet always answers your questions and spends ample amount of time with you, so you feel she is there for the best care for your pet, she isn't just in and out like a regular Medical Doctor. I will definitely be back if I need a vet.

We just moved here from NC and we were referred here for our older dog who due to a lot of issues we had to put down. These people here are amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better experience due to the nature of what our family was going through losing a loved one. They care so much! We need more vet clinics like this one.
