I had an appointment with Dr. Myka Geruntho. I had just rescued my dog from the kill list in Orange County 3 months prior and she had a issue with a canine I wanted to get evaluated. I was approached with the worst bed side manner from a vet in a very long time. Diagnosing without proper X-rays and only visual examination. Spending my money without even getting a word in! When I asked if she would like to know MY GOALS as a patient & dog owner she said "you know what ill just give you pain meds and you can find somewhere else to go!" Also stating "I am a new grad, which means I've spoke to specialist very recently" thinking that this makes me think she has a leg to stand on. It tells me she has NO EXPERIENCE dealing with dog owners & needs to learn how to approach patients with kindness and understanding. NOT abrupt & pushy! Bethany is 8 years old, over-bred I know she has issues. As a dental hygienist I am presented with patients who have issues but I PRIORITIZE & handle them with "kid gloves" I don't make them feel bad. I give them the knowledge and they are free to do whatever they want! its their money & time. I will not be returning to this vet!

They are very good with my Sophie. She goes on walks, they play with her and she has a very good time on her visits. I will continue to board her at Murrieta Oaks! I am a happy customer and so is Sophie.

This place was awesome. Each person was very caring with Sampson. They were always concerned that he was not stressed out.

I was told my dog would be first procedure of the day so that he wouldn’t have to spend hours in a cage. He suffers from ptsd. When I checked him in (8 am) the day of procedure was told that wasn’t happening. And then there was the surprise of insurance not covering potentially hundreds of dollars 2 weeks before Christmas. Should have listened to my gut and left. Called a few minutes after 1pm because I hadn’t heard anything. Was told they were just taking him in (what a coincidence, not). This procedure was estimated at 2 hours. At 4 pm I was getting into the car to go get him because I hadn’t heard anything when the phone rang. The vet said she had just taken out his breathing tube. I asked what happened and why did he have a breathing tube at 4 pm when they took him in at 1 pm. She said he didn’t go until 2 and I couldn’t get him until 5:30 pm. Long story short, blatantly lied to twice. They never had any intention of honoring their word and did as they pleased (kept him 9 1/2 hours) regardless of my request (which they agreed to). Stunned and disappointed in the lack of integrity. If they had said straight up what their policy/procedure was and no exception I could have made an informed decision for what would have been best for my dog.

After working with a different vet locally for years and not being happy with the way the treated us or our animals we were lucky enough to find Murrieta Oaks Veterinary Hospital. The staff are all very professional and genuinely care about the pets and families they serve, Dr. K is exceptional and not only has taken great care of us, but also was very supportive and compassionate when our elderly cat finally reached the end of her run. Our girl was under extensive treatment her last 6 months or so and Dr. K and the staff were great to work with. We adopted a new cat who was housed at Murrieta Oaks until weaning a litter of kittens and then she came straight home with us. They work with local adoption agencies and we had a much greater sense of comfort knowing she had been well cared for and socialized prior to our adopting her. Best Vet in the area by far!

I always have an amazing experience with all their staff. They really do care about the animals and always take me in on an emergency basis if needed. I have five dogs and sometimes accidents happen when playing. I wouldn’t take them anywhere else!

They are so patient with my dog September. Very clean, friendly, and reasonably priced.

We brought our 10 year old yellow Lab, Dexter, in for major surgery on his throat. The staff was extremely professional and friendly. The surgeon and staff followed up with us after the procedure and the following day. We could not be happier with the excellent results. Before the surgery Dexter was having an extremely difficult time breathing. He is now breathing easily and is much more comfortable. A special thanks to Dr. Jeff for all the help and advice that he provided.

The Murrieta Oaks Valley Hospital (MOVH) staff that helped us are very professional - from the time my husband and I called to make an appointment for our Yorkshire Terrier, Queen Sweetie, to the time we picked her up from the hospital. We felt comfortable leaving Sweetie for her check-up at the hospital because the tech who came to meet us was very sweet, calm and pleasant. Her instructions on what to do next and what to expect were clear. Dr. G was very professional when she discussed the plan of treatment for Sweetie. She answered all our questions. The bill estimate was explained properly so my husband and I were not surprised with the total payment we made when we picked up Sweetie. The instructions given by Tiffany on Sweetie’s medications were clear. All labels on Sweetie’s medications were written clearly. Overall, our experience is positive! We highly recommend MOVH!

Very nice staff. Great place I would take my dog again. I think when people bring there animals to board the staff should listen a little better. I packed just enough food so once I got back I would feed my dog dinner. Instead of that my dog didn't get breakfast cause there was no food. ( Helps to listen) I'm just glad I got back sooner and the staff found out what happen. Other then that everything was great.

We went in for a quality of life check on our senior dog, the staff was very helpful and attentive. They were explaining everything step by step and made everything very easy to understand.

Could not ask for a better experience at a vet, I am so so thankful to have found Murrieta Oaks to help my pup. I only recently moved to California and had not sorted a new vet yet. The groomer noticed a growth in my dogs mouth, which prompted me to make an immediate appointment with the vet closest to my house. That vet took an xray, noticed a growth on his liver and told me I only had 3-6 months left with my nearly 12 year old dog. They did no blood work or ultrasounds but told me there were no additional options and any testing would be a waste of resources. I was pretty devastated to get this news, but knew I should get a second opinion because something didn't seem right. I called Murrieta Oaks and they were able to get me in same day, thoroughly explained what the process would be if my dog did have cancer and explained how they could verify what is going on with him so I knew my options. They took his blood for blood work right away (and it was super fast, he was barely out of the room for 5 minutes) gave me cost estimates for the upcoming options and explained the timelines in which I could expect to hear back. Brandi and Dr. Labelle were so so kind is listening to me explain everything I had been told previously. I felt like I was the only client in the office and really appreciated the attention and care they brought to helping my dog. The clinic is spotless, everyone is incredibly friendly and super helpful. I am so happy to have found Murrieta Oaks, they will be my forever vet!

The people working here (from the person who answers the phone to the doctors themselves) are fabulous! The compassion they have for our pets is beaming from every interaction they have with the fur parents. They’re informative, They explain options so that you can make choices that work for your finances. They are super detailed when they’re walking you through what’s happening with your pet, and their wellness plan is pretty darn good!! We discovered this place when our cat had an emergency and when I called them (be smart and call exactly when they open) they were able to see her that day! Their kindness to squeeze her in ended up saving my cat’s life. My family is so grateful to have found a place we can trust and feel comfortable with.

Took Blossom in for vaccines and Hunter was fast, efficient and to the point. Blossom is testy with most people, but took to Hunter just fine. Thank you!

After a terrible experience at another local vet I was so impressed with the level of professionalism and true love for my boy! They were upfront and honest of cost and I appreciated the clear details of his treatment and upcoming surgery!!

The reception and nurse were very friendly but the Vet was a little stiff. She seemed to be more business like instead of warm and friendly.
