I've been here to license my dog. It's pretty quick and the staff was nice.

Doing a better job than killing animals that do not need to be killed. Way better than 4 years ago!

I called throughout the day on Thursday and left a voicemail for a call back. No one answers and no call back. It’s Saturday now

Love this place. Great with my pets. Recently they've been non-responsive to my phone calls/messages regarding a reschedule on getting my 7 mo kitten fixed.

Took my dog there for surgery, it's expensive compared to other vets. The parking is a pain as there is traffic constantly. Also note you will have to wait well past your scheduled time. They quote you a price on the phone and then it's higher when you go to pay, I payed $40 more I will find a new vet.

I just recently had a very frustrating experience at Moreno Valley Animal Shelter. I called at 10:30 am to ask questions about a dog that I had seen that was available. The information said updated an hour ago so I wanted to call and check. Its an hour drive for me to reach moreno valley so I didn't want to waste my time. I called and whoever answered the phone was rushing me off. When I asked questions I just got short responses "if theyre on our website theyre available". I even said that I was going to rush over so I hope the pup im looking at is still there. And she just repeated herself. My husband and I literally sped over there got there (12pm). Were the first people to inquire about her and they told me that she's not available until 1:48! And if multiple people are there to see her than its a lottery for fairness. How is that fair?? I signed in on a paper with my name and time I arrived and it didn't even matter? Fairness is for those that come early to see a dog and it goes down the line of people in order of arrival. THATS fair. I waited an hour and a half. Came back 30 mins early. I see another family come in to inquire and received the paper. Then I had to do a lottery. The couple that came in 30 mins after us got to see the dog first! And then the runner up was a lady who literally just walked in 3 minutes prior!! In the end whats meant to be will be, but the was totally done wrong. I should've been asked over the phone what animal I was inquiring about or about the lottery. Nothing! I was rushed off the phone like an annoying fly and basically wasted my time! So frustrating. Others beware of the lotteries.

I found a kitten and tried to give it to the shelter and they refused and told me to just throw it back into the treats. Even though the kitten was docile and lovable. I can’t believe this is the type of people working for an animal shelter. Disgusting women work here.

Although I got a wonderful dog out of the situation. But the staff was rude, and very inattentive.

I had a wonderful adoption experience here. One of the ladies pointed me to a great dog. Sugar is as sweet as they come. Everyone was very helpful. All of the animals were well cared for, given that it is a kennel with many dogs. I will be going back.

Sad but true. I hoped to adopt a dog. I was there half an hour before they opened. Then i was told to come back at 3:19 pm. I was there at 3. Then a family walked in and started getting hugs from the staff and management. They had a pit mix with them that was totally untrained, out of control. I never had a chance to adopt her. Its clear they cherry pick dogs for there friends.

Found a cat that had been dumped in my apartment complex parking lot and her eye was swollen and yucky and they turned me away and at the door and told me to just abandon this poor kitty. Then security told me she was going to give me a ticket because the cat could get hit by a car and to take her back and leave her in my apartment complex where again SHE COULD STILL GET HIT BY A CAR. Literally the worst experience i’ve ever had. Everything was so confusing and they were incredibly rude.

Very friendly staff. We recently lost a dog to old age and they happily took our dog’s old (freshly washed) blankets and dog bed to reuse.

They have a spay/neuter program that rocks. There are way too many farel cats...MVAS is the way to go to help this situation in Moreno Valley. Thanks for your help.

I brought my cat here to get neutered. His surgery went fine and the staff that helped me the day of his surgery was very helpful and nice. Unfortunately they forgot to give me his pain medication when I picked him up, they called me about 30 mins later to let me know that I could come back to pick up the following morning. I showed up the next morning at around 6:45am to pick up the medicine. There was a staff member walking in as I pulled up so I called to her. She first rudely rolled her eyes as she turned and when I asked her if I could simply just get the medicine they forgot to give me the day before she told me I had to wait until 7 am. I don’t see why she wanted me to wait another 10-15 longer for a mistake they had made on their part. Word of advice if you don’t like helping customers so early in the morning then find yourself another job we’re you won’t find yourself having to be rude to people you don’t know. It brings down the great customer service experience that other people in your establishment work so hard to achieve.
