Pretty much my go-to for beardie supplies/food. Occasionally they don't have crickets but it's not a big deal, as I can feed my baby berries/greens to hold him over. I appreciate the small, independently owned shops.

Terrible! I bought two Betta fish, two separate times, and all the supplies. They assured me the fish could survive in a small bowl and instructed me to use room temperature water. Within four days of bringing these fish home, both died. I tossed the Andersen's Pet Shop Betta Instructions and finally referenced books and google for care instructions. Bettas need warm water! NOT room temperature!!! It's criminal that two fish had to die because they are giving the wrong instructions.

We got the three sweetest, goofiest rats here! The owner is also a rat breeder and enthusiast, and he made sure they’d been handled a ton, so they were used to humans. (He actually gave us the third rat for free because we were looking for two and he didn’t want to separate the three brothers who’d grown up together. So freaking cute.) We even got to say hi to their mom! I hear that going to pet shops for ratties can be a gamble in terms of temperament, but here you know you’re getting sweethearts. If you’re a first-time owner like me, you can also stock up on everything you need, from a cage to bedding to hides and treats!

We been shopping here for our 2 cockatiels for 3 years already. For some reason they enjoy their milet better than the ones in the packs.

I've been a customer of Anderson's for over 30 years, since they were on Verdugo. Tom is super cool and knowledgeable. If you have any questions , or concerns about your pets - he's likely to have answers, otherwise hs happy to help do the research. His sister and staff are all super friendly and kind. They've got a great selection of supplies & will order whatever you need if it's availa:-)

Anderson's Pet Shop has been serving the needs of all my many pets literally all my life. Whether I've been shopping for aquatic, mammalian, or reptilian/ amphibian, the staff at Anderson's has never let us down.

Cool place but really disorganized and their prices are much higher than online ones for the same products. A little higher is ok, I want to support local businesses, but they're a lot higher. Their store is very crowded and overloaded with products.

Grooming, animal sales, food sales, equipment sales. Andersen's really took care of me when I was shopping for rats. A responsible pet shop led by clearly experienced and transparent locals.

Displeased with service. Treated my mom and I like a pile of dirt. I was not offended but my mom was. Completely innacurate business approach to doing business. Really disgusting business practices.

Best place for pets high end items

Awesome pet store. The owner is friendly and know his stuff. They have everything from insects to dog food. It is much better than Petco or any of the other big box pet chains.
