Andy's Pet Grooming Glendale Glendale, California

First time I brought her in the experience was good but today I paid $90 for a hack job, over a years worth of hair growth mutilated. I called first to let them know but she didn't offer to fix it just "let us know next time" I asked to cancel the tip I left but she said she wasn't able too. The sides of my dogs head are completely different, one side is slighting blended at an angle while the other side is just hard chops. I understand the muzzle is slightly different because of hair growth patterns but this isn't even close to the photo. It's not even, smooth or blended. Imagine paying $90 for this, I'm in tears as I feel like I wasted all this money and especially after the holidays. I included photos of each side of her head and the reference photo I gave them to use.

Very disappointed with this place and the groomers. They obviously have very little experience and do not care what notes customer leaves for them. I won't go back here again. Every time they ruin my poppies head and cut her lashes although I made sure it's in the notes. They never pay attention to instructions I leave with the receptionist and when you tell them why this happens they go... oh it was a mistake ???? this happened to me 3 times and I'm done with this place. Not recommending at all. The owner doesn't care at all about things that go wrong in there.

Great service. Great prices Been coming to Andy's for 4 years since I adopted my pup. The always do such a good job with her. They also have ample selection of accessories and some food.

I was helped by "Art" and he was very considerate about me taking my cat in to get groomed. Prices were super fair. 100 even for full wash and trim and shave on my long haired cat. They did a good job, didn't cut any whiskers. It was a clean shave too, no cuts. I'm super satisfied with the service

This place is horrible do not go here. My dog had a delay in grooming because she started her heat cycle the week of her grooming appt 4 weeks ago. We had an appointment at the other location which had to be canceled and after trying to get in there, I foolishly decided to schedule here assuming they were the same. The guy at the front desk looked at my dog when I took her in and stated she would need alot of dematting since he knew based on her changing hair at that age. That should have been my 1st cue, but I still left my dog as I had to return to work. They called me a few hours later and said my puppy was ready. When he presented the bill of $70 he informed me he didn't charge me for dematting which would have been an additional $30. I was grateful until I saw my dog, I was so shocked all I could do was scoop her up and cuddle her. She was shaved bare, so low you could see her skin what extensive dematting was done when you cut her hair that low. I was upset but I thought fine it will grow back we just won't come here again. What led to this review, is the genital irritation that started the next day either from unsanitary grooming or cutting her hair too low. I had to take her to the vet she had to have an antibiotic, steroid shot and topical antibiotic/steroid combo. Also i was shocked to hear the vet say her anal glands needed to be expressed, considering I paid for anal glands expression in her grooming package. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE FOR GROOMING. NOT GOOD.

Absolutely incredible. I get pretty much one of every service they provide when I come with my two mini aussies and they always do such a wonderful job. Reasonably priced and very friendly staff, too (:

Made an appointment and there was a husband and wife running the show was there at the grooming place . Another lady was inside the store with her dog. The owner lady told me to stay outside and no greeting at all. She made me feel like I went there to beg her. I stayed outside. When the lady with the other dog went outside I went in with my dog. I Waited and they never said anything to me. I went out with my dog and the mean owner lady stared at me. If they treat you like this you know how they will treat your pet. Go to places where they respect you. Stay away from this place.

Made an appointment here for a wash and a cut. When we got there (this place is 45 mins from our house), they said they didn’t have time for the cut. Then they said dog won’t be ready until closing (our appointment was at 1). We asked for our dog back and they said it was too late, as he was already wet. They gave him back to us wet, unwashed and still charged us $80. My husband paid because they were holding our dog hostage. I am dubious that most of these five star reviews are legit and suggest you do not take your pet here. Do not believe the 5 star reviews. As others have stated, this business offers a discount for 5 star reviews.

Owner very rude interrupted my questions Did not listen to how I wanted dog trimmed i left without leaving my pet I would never go there. I have heard others say the same about this place

What a wonderful experience here! I brought my foster kitten (3~4 months old) in for a flea bath and cleaning. I was mainly concerned about the fleas and when I got her back, they seemed to all be gone! She wasn’t scratching harshly (which she was very frequently) like when she had the fleas. She smelled fresh and clean. Art’s customer service was amazing as well. Highly suggest! :) Good prices too

We've gone here multiple times since moving to LA and our dogs always come out fresh and clean. They handle full grooming care and the price isn't too bad. They even seem to do well with our dog that is super high anxiety around strangers. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

LOVE IT HERE!! So nice and such good service. My dog looked amazing. They even gave him a free flea bath because they found a few fleas on him!! They also have a great little store with a lot of well made products. Didn't take a while either, unlike the other groomer places I've taken my dog to. Definitely recommend!! ????

I have tried a bunch of different groomers, and I always end up unhappy. I like a very specific, non-traditional cut on my little maltipoo. I went to Andy's for the first time today, and my dog has never looked cuter. They listened to every instruction and executed it so perfectly. My pup came back happy and relaxed. I am so so happy with my experience here. Art was personable and great to speak with. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here for every groom!

BANFIELD Pet Hospital & PETCO Glendale Highly recommended To bring my 10month old Kitten for grooming. I was hesitant at first due to some 1 star reviews. But, after the visit today __ I am A FAN! I will surely be back & This will be my Cats Favorite Salon!! By the way, My Kitten was so happy & hyper & running & ready to play (Maybe she just Missed me;)) ---when she got back home -- I was very surprised !! -- I think she loves her new Hair cut & spa treatment . I AM a HAPPY MOMCAT! Thank you Sarkis & Your staffs for treating my Cat such a little Queen of Glendale! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤~ Miss K.

First Time at this spot. Customer Service was great & was even given a free first time perk for my puppy. They even went above and beyond to share there service and even shared my huskies great behavior with them . Thank you . I will be returning!

We have been using Andy’s pet grooming for a long time. Our puppy always comes home happy, and clean. They are very personable and our dog is always happy. He now gets excited when we mention the word “groomer”.

Really great grooming also love that they brush the dog's teeth as well

We could not smoking in the building

I usually get my dogs nails trimmed with my vet in Pasadena but I wanted to find something closer. I took them for a nail trim and this is how they returned them. When I called him to inquire about the injuries and obviously get my money back. - He first claimed my dogs had that before coming in. - He then claimed were aggressive mind you I live with children and go to a daycare. I told him if they had been aggressive he could have called me and I would have understood. - I had to take them today to the vet and the vet told me the red eye cause is blunt trauma. This means somebody hit my dog! - The owner of the business never apologized and kept saying he was feeling stressed. - I did get a return for the money but this is unacceptable. I am now having to pay $200 for the vet visit and medicine. DO NOT COME HERE!!

Love this place. They know exactly what I want. Been going there for my dog ???? from a while now. Great service, great grooming. Nail cut, grooming, brushing teeth.

Would of liked to see the actual grooming but wanted to try a new place. Stick with what you know..

My dog is a bit shy and is wary of people, but when I picked her up she was all tail wags. I've been told previously that her fur is a little challenging to deal with (as I often groom her myself, I agree). But they did a great job, trimmed the fur between her paws and overall made her very neat and fresh within a window of less than 3 hours.

I prefer Glendale location than Eagle Rock. My dogs arent afraid of coming for their bath & haircut.
