I had a odd situation that I was very unsure about, when I called the young woman that answered the phone; assisted me even though it turnout I need to go somewhere else. Kindness during a stressful situation is the best gift! Thank you!! Glad to report everything turned out great and she is home with her sister and brother; dad sure was happy that she is back home.

Love all of the vets at Monterey Animal Hospital!! They have taken care of three of my Wheatons over the past four years. The staff is very caring, gentle and are personable. Even though I have moved out of the area, I still drive 45 minutes to have my dogs treated here. They are the best in the area!

My pet was lost :( Even though I am no longer with their practice they helped me get his microchip information updated. Now he is found!!!

Love this vet would recommend anyone to them they take such good care of my dogs ivy and Ren whenever I have to take them too the vet bringing my cat to them in October to get his wellness exam and shots I’d trust them with any of my animals they are also very reliable and you can get appointments rather easily sooner rather then later like other vets usually it’s weeks out but they always seem to have an opening also the techs and staff are all really nice and reliable

I can’t believe how awful customer service is here. My dog fell and hurt her leg. I left a 911 message late in the evening. Jessica called back and left a very nonchalant message about my needs. I called her back within 10 minutes. She acted like she didn’t know who we were. If we were even clients. When I said to her “I felt very awkward to trust the vet with my dog since she’s acting the way she is” she just answered “OK” I am on the hunt for a good veterinarian. I own one of the largest pet sitting and transportation services on the Monterey peninsula. I hear horror stories of vets very often. I won’t allow that to be one of my pets. I would stay clear of this office just because of the customer service. I don’t know why they would have Jessica working the phones since she is probably one of the worst voices or customer service representation I would ever want for an animal service. It doesn’t say much for the vet here for the owner. Not sure what’s going on but what a terrible experience.

I payed an extremely high bill for just two vaccinations. Went to another vet only to be told everything they told me that needed to get done about my cat was incorrect. This vet wanted me to pay 1,200$ for treatment that wasn't necessary or already completed. Will not be returning and I suggest no one else does too.

My dog was not feeling well I got an immediate appointment . My pup was seen quickly . While I waited in my car my puppy was taken in for an exam the doctor called me to tell me she needed to run a test to determine if he had an ear infection & what type . She gave me the price first to ok it and answered all my questions . My pup had his ears cleaned and long acting time released meds put in his ears . She gave advice on a good shampoo for his dry skin and suggested fish oil in meals as a supplement. It all was over & down with in 30 minutes. The staff & doctor are wonderful & caring . I am very happy I was able to get such good care for my baby at such a low price . So thank you to all the staff & doctor

Our dog got conjunctivitis while at our vacation home in PG, surprisingly we were able to get an appointment for the very next day from when I called. That never happens at our regular vet at home! Monterey animal hospital staff was very pleasant and got our dog in and out quickly with a totally reasonable exam fee. Great experience, would definitely recommend!
