Cottage Veterinary Care is a wonderful veterinary service! Their staff are caring, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Nice staff and good with the animals. I appreciate their attention to my questions. Very little street parking but there is a parking lot near. I drove past it the first time I went, but see the sigh now!

After foraging for veterinary clinics online, this one seemed the best. Called to make an appointment, but they wouldn't take my pet. The receptionist said they don't like to mess with eyes, in reference to my pet having some minimal swelling around her eye. Was surprised, & quite disappointed, that they wouldn't so much as make an appointment to look at my pet. Thankfully, the swelling resolved on its own in a few days while waiting for an appointment elsewhere.

We have been taking our two Icelandic Sheepdogs (13 & 7) here for a year and couldn’t be happier with how they have been cared for. We have had some ups and downs: tricky lipomas, nail tears, arthritis, dental work, etc. All have been handled very well by the staff here. Dr. Wilkins is the best, she’s very attentive and the staff always follows up to see how the pups are doing after any visit. Highly recommend!

Brought our dog here when injured, just as we were leaving town to return home from vaca. Traumatic experience especially when not in your own hometown. Staff was comforting and vet was reassuring. We were seen within a few minutes. We were very grateful to them for examining our pup so quickly and throughly.

We are relatively new to the area, both our cat and dog have been seen and i have zero complaints so far. That being said, I know covid has made things very complicated, but their system for greeting patients for appointments doesn't seem too efficient. I waited outside for 15 minutes for my appointment, knocking on the door 3 separate times and calling twice while being sent to voice-mail as I could hear people talking inside the reception area. A vet tech just happened to be walking by to come inside and noticed me and checked me in. Again, I know it's difficult right now but it shouldn't have take so long for them to even realize I was there for my scheduled appointment.

I felt that they were a nice office however it's just didn't cut the mustard with me the dog was never diagnosed properly and has since then had to have been put down

Dr. Kim is the best! She is caring, smart, and her staff is just as special. My rescue had suffered with problematic skin. Dr. Kim is the first vet (and this includes local vets, vet in Aptos, and vets in San Jose ) who correctly identified what our little guy's problem was. I(Our dog loves visiting the office. He gets really excited when we go up the steps to the office.) The office is in a lovely Pacific Grove house. I highly recommend Dr. Kim for your pet's needs.

When we adopted our dog and brought her to Cottage Vet she had chronic health problems. They were able to spot something that two other vets had missed. Our dog needed surgery and Cottage Vet was incredibly kind and supportive throughout the process. We have had our dog for a few years now (healthy and happy) and the Cottage Vet staff has remained as supportive and compassionate. I highly recommend them.

Brought our 8 year old dog in for a checkup and vaccine update. Such a nice group of people. My dog is a big baby (to say the least) and they took great care of her. We definitely found our Vet!

these guys are just amazing. my most recent experience my cat was diagnosed with feline leukemia and had a sever respiratory infection and had lost an eye due to an ulcer and it was just a bad scene... She stayed after hours to perform the procedure and explained everything and was very caring and even gave me a hug. the whole staff was very caring and loving and even sent a follow up condolence card that brought tears to our eyes. The diagnosis was a complete shock to us and they handled the news and everything wonderfully. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. they are willing to work with peoples situations and will do what they can.

Yesterday was my first visit to Cottage Veterinary Clinic. First let me say that Dr. Kim Wilkins was the most wonderful, caring, thorough, super smart, friendly & knowledgeable vet I've ever met. EVER! Ditto for her tech & receptionist. She spent over an hour and a half with my dog and was so gentle and loving with her. We talked for over 20 min. before she even examined her. I came in with a laundry list of problems that my 14 yr old dog was experiencing. She said she would start with the basics and see where we went from there. Afterward she again sat down with me and explained all her findings and her plans for treatment. When all was said and done she was SPOT ON with her diagnosis and recommended treatment. (I know, I looked it up on line when I got home!) I also found her fees to be beyond reasonable and she is willing to work with you if you need a payment plan. I liked her from the moment I met her and by the time I left I was in love with her. THIS WILL BE MY VET FOR LIFE! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Dr. Kim!
