Horrible place to go. To most people, animals are part of their family and the staff is very inconsiderate and just heartless. All they care about is collecting your money.

Friendly staff and great vets. The client base has definitely grown so getting an appointment can take some time, however they will accommodate with urgent care appts as needed. I've been a customer for 12 years and will keep coming back.

I called because my dog had a ripped toenail and was bleeding. They told me to go wait for 2 hours at an emergency vet because they couldn't see him.

I'm very pleased with Sylvan Veterinary, the staff is very kind and helpful ???? Dr. Pamela Etchegoyen is the best! She has helped my baby Blu with his issues more in one day, than any other veterinarian has in months!  She's very attentive to his needs and my concerns and takes very good care of him. I'm so grateful for all their care!! Thank you Sylvan Veterinary Hospital!    Debbie Robbins/Younger.

My little yellow lab Daisy Mae has been treated and cared for by Sylvan and Standiford Vets for 5 years. She has been through so much. Surgeries, poisonings, and parasites. They have treated her successfully as nd with compassion.

Tried to find out if I should get my puppy a check-up. Instead of giving me an answer, I was told to show up and ask the Vet if I should be there. Why they couldn't give me a call back, or just an answer I have no clue. Not sure why Covid would make a simple thing an issue. Edit: They at least gave an answer to the review, just not the original thing I wanted. Changed it to 2 stars.

I see all the negative reviews and honestly its a reflection of the owners and management. The owners DO NOT care about their staffs well being or mental health. While they are understaffed, they would rather under pay, over work, and plainly ignore the needs of their current employees. As a customer I could see the techs and doctors running all over the place trying to make all these appointments they've scheduled. As a friend to some staff members I am disgusted at the lack of compassion they have for their staff. Not to mention with the owners and management running their employees into the ground like this, its only a matter of time til someone gets hurt. Whether that be staff or someone's fur baby.

Sylvan Vet isn’t my primary vet, but I’ve been here twice for cat urgent care. Their facilities are clean, their vets are compassionate and informative, and the end of life care for my cats was as peaceful as I could ask for. They are a little more expensive than other places; but I’ve been to other urgent care vets in the valley and was disgusted by the lack of upkeep of their facilities.

First let me start off by saying that our pet family have been clients of Sylvan Veterinary Hospital since back when Dr. Moody operated it. I understand that times change and the new hospital, added staff etc.. cost money. however the prices have really gone up and the level of service has not stayed consistently good. The service lately during COVID has been terrible. Vet visits have to be scheduled months in advance. I have been waiting 3 months to get my dog in to see her primary vet. And to compound matters in many cases the owner of the pet is not allowed in to speak with the vet while the pet is being examined. Worse yet if your pet has an emergency this hospital (even during business hours) will not see your pet instead sending the customer to Standiford Veterinary Hospital which is a mess too! I would like to think that the pandemic has a lot to do with the poor performance by this hospital however I am not sure that is the case.

I took my puppy for his first visit. The doctor ,vet tech, and front staff were all very nice. The wait was 10-15 min but I was also 10 min late so this is fair. All in all I would recommend them!

They were great! They got my cat in right away. ???? prices are reasonable too. I originally gave them 5 stars. What happened was slowly but surely they start getting you. You can rarely get a phone consultation without being told you have to bring your pet in and pay another office visit over something they've ready seen them for. And now they won't see my pet unless he gets a poisonous rabies vaccine. He doesn't need it. I won't be back. You people took an oath and if you start getting money hungry instead of doing what you swore to do, you will be found out. The rabies vaccine ican be deadly and is not administered with the proper dosage depending on weight. Everybody's getting greedy off vaccines. Watch out people.

This used to be the BEST vet in town prior to COVID. Wait times were long at the beginning which is understandable considering businesses need to figure out how to adapt. Well a year later you can expect to have your pet waiting in a cage for about 2 hours average for any type of service before being helped. Hmmm, that never happened when we were allowed to sit with our pets while waiting for the Doctor did it? That's because people would never put up with that wait time. They're crying COVID but what is really happening is that they are overbooking appointments and since we cant come in, they just stack up the pets in cages and get to them when its convenient for them. Disgusting! I refuse to put my poor senior dog through that any longer so be aware if you choose to go.

Extremely nice staff and very professional. They answered all my questions and were very informative and gave lots of details. They made my pet and myself feel very comfortable and the facility was very clean and welcoming. So happy I chose this vet and we will continue to go here for all my puppy’s needs!

I picked up two male kittens that needed a home. Once they were 6 months old, I made an apt to have them neutered. However, when I dropped them off, it was only for a wellness exam. They charged me over $100 for this exam in order to actually schedule them to be neutered. So, basically, I paid this money only for them to look at the kittens and then proceed to have them neutered for over $275 each. I scheduled this apt to have them neutered and was not informed that this wellness was needed. Further, it is their policy to have this with all cats prior to a procedure. When I dropped them off, I was under the impression they were being neutered. I feel like my time is wasted for trying to do a good deed for kittens that needed a home. Will not be coming back!

I absolutely love this place. All the staff are super nice and always helpful. I'm extremely picky and wouldn't take my baby anywhere else after finding Sylvan.

After a terrible experience with another vet. We brought our puppy here and they did an excellent job. Doctor was thorough and helpful. Switching both of my fur babies to this practice immediately. They care for your animals as if they’re their own.
