Skyler one of the young folks who works there went out of the to find our big boy Samson a very good rescue. I get updates all the time on his progress. All the folks over there care very much and take very good care of the animals in there charge. I recommend adopting from them . Or ask for there help if you need it. I can TRULY say I trust them. 4 stars.

Awesome, very Friendly staff. The visit and adoption process went as smooth as you'd hope. Just an overall fantastic experience.

Contacted this rescue because a dog that I had just adopted from a friend was unknowingly already pregnant. She had 3 puppies and even though I've tried extremely hard I cannot find homes for them and do not want to take them to the pound because they're part pit and they'll most likely be put down. We already have 3 large breed dogs and decided to keep 1 of the pups. But absolutely cannot keep the other 2. They asked for photos of the puppies and information on them I sent them everything and they said they would be in touch. It's been over a week and have not heard back. I've texted the # they gave me for the photos and they're now ignoring me.

If you want to give an animal a loving home, try somewhere else. Staff are judgemental and assuming. Turned my stay at home mother away because she has a dog that is not fixed, even though the dog she was trying to adopt was spayed and she has no interest in puppies. My mom is wonderful with dogs and has a perfect home environment for one, and was very hurt by their judgements. If you want to be bullied by staff, adopt here.

An amazing and dedicated group of volunteers led by a total superhero. Rescue is so difficult, but they do it well and save so many animals! I just adopted from them, and they were so wonderful and patient.

We got referred to them, we kept calling to see if they will take out cat. Sitting in the parking lot for an hr no respond, we called again push the ring bell, texted them yet no response. Very unprofessional if there not taking any just say. It says a lot

It was a great experience! Aubrey was so kind and did such a wonderful job, she was a big part in helping us find the new member of our family, we love our little kitty boy soooooo much!!! Thank you, you guys are awesome.

Adopted a dog after volunteer told me I could bring the dog back since it was growling at my dog during the visit, if it didn’t work out after a few days, and to contact Karri. I returned the dog after 2 hrs and 45 min because it did not work out. Karri would not refund a dime of my money despite the fact I returned the dog in less than 24 hours. Bad business!!!

Called left a voicemail no one ever called me back.

I called them about helping me rescue a kitten, I know it's the middle of kitten season ... Unfortunately they were full, but I know they have a reputation for being helpful... I just took care of the kitten myself and we'll look to them in the future.

I tried adopting a dog. Filled out application and submitted it. Never heard anything back. If they did call me, they didn’t leave a message. Guess there aren’t any dogs in the shelters?

I just wanted to see if I can get a free little dog for and my apartment it was confusing all they wanted was money not help get puppy's homes

Pups n palz consists of all volunteers who are passionate about rescue, care and rehabilitation followed by adoption to new pet owners of both Cats and Dogs. I have to applaud thier unselfish giving of thier time and efforts.

Very nice place very helpful I had a big one of my pet babies passed away and I called them cuz I wanted to donate all of her things had to help him out no blankets at Bed pillow they accepted it all anything to support this adoption agency

My Bunny Girl of 11 years passed away I called Pups and they graciously took my baby's donations and were sorry for my loss. My baby keeps giving in this rescue...thank you

i walked in and it was very cozy i saw some animals next to the door the cages were very roomy with lots of patting the animals looked like they were just chillin they didt look sad or chraped i can truely tell that they give there animals a tiny home in there cage they have a nice little bisnes going on there take care of my dog ty

Found my puppy through their site. Very thorough screening process. Such a good fit for me and my puppy delilah!

Pets and Palz Rescue offers a great service to the Modesto community. They have a large volunteer support network to help house cats and dogs, offer discounts for neutering and truly care for animals. I highly recommend supporting their efforts by visiting a pet adoption event or by donating to their cause.

Agree with other posts of being unprofessional. I emailed to ask about the adoption process/an application for a dog that was not ready for adoption so I can be prepared and have everything ready for when they are accepting applications. I clearly stated I understood applications are not being accepted and continued to state that I wanted be prepared. I didn’t even ask about the dog, I simply asked about the process. Instead, I got a snarky and rude email from Karri stating it was a waste of time to answer questions about a dog that is not even ready for adoption (again, even though all I asked was about the adoption process/application). She was also responding to my emails pretty quickly so in that time should could have simply sent me an email on how the process works. Karri continued to state it was rude to ask about the process of adoption before the dog is even available for adoption. Karri’s attitude/rude deameanor is what I was appalled by the most.

dont call unless you want to be sarcasticly redirected to Petfinder.com the workers there need customer service training.

They provide a service that finds forever homes for pets. Good people heros to the unwanted.
