Posh Paws Pet Salon Modesto, California

I did a post on Craigslist about backyard breeders scamming people because I was scammed last year after putting down a deposit, someone messaged me telling me that there is a groomer in modesto that sometimes breeds there poodle so I look up the groomer (posh paws pet salon) and turns out the owners are the ones who scammed me. Be careful of who you do business with. Youd think owning a business people would be more professional. Sometimes that's not the case.

Great place. Very friendly people and great with my aussie she had a blast with the workers and the other pets, her double coat looks better than ever! Also note: make sure to call and book your appointments ahead of time

Owners claimed everyone that goes there are family friends. I believe the owners husband tried to intimate me when we confronted them on over paying. They claimed if we leave a good comments we'd get a good deal. I dont trust the owners or staff here. Be careful who you do business with. Especially if they are selling puppies and refuses to return money after being scammed out a puppy. They told us they owned this place and the guy acts and tells you he will get his street homies on you, if you dont do what he says Do not go here unless you like over paying or being scammed

Very knowledgeable and excellent groomers. I really liked that the dogs aren't caged and get to run around with one another. Did such a super job on my Shorkie.

The worst salon ever. The lady in the front has no way to talk to a customer very low and unprofessional. Therefore , not attending my dogs . I don’t recommend at all this groomer place.

I was really enjoying this place and they always cut my dogs hair real nice. The first thing that upset me was when they “booked” my appointment and i showed up and they said nothing was booked, they cut his hair at the end of the day after the rest of the dogs. The second thing they did is when i called to book an appointment they had told me to come in on a Monday at 11am, he said “where not usually open mondays but that monday we will be open” and when i showed up no one was there. Very unprofessional on their end to book me for an appointment knowing the shop is closed making me waste my time and gas. Lost a customer for that.

I have been coming here since they opened. The owners really love dogs and my dogs always get treated well and they come home looking cute and clean. Highly recommend!

We had our husky malamute groomed here and they did such an amazing job with him! We are super happy with the work!

After trying a few other groomers in the Ceres/Modesto area and not being pleased with either the groomer or facility. I found Posh Paws! Our labradoodle Harley is pretty high maintenance when it comes to her hair, She goes once a month. She’s always so happy when I drop her off, she loves to hug all the groomers. The staff and owner are amazing! We won’t use any other groomer but them.. Thank you Posh Paws for always keeping our girl looking so pretty????

ALWAYS a pleasure going to this shop, the people are great and my dogs cuts come out fantastic every single time I love how they add the bows and bandanas on our boys ???? HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! I was convinced they gave me back the wrong dog after they were done with him ????

Love this place and my dog BoJack does as well! He always has fun playing with the other dogs and they always leave him looking great!

We LOVE Posh Paws Pet Salon. I cannot say enough good things about them. We take our mini poodle here and when we pick him up he is always so happy, not stressed out or anxious, and looks adorable! It was super important to me to find a groomer that he loves because I've taken him to a few different spots and he was always scared & stressed out upon arrival but not with Posh Paws Pet Salon. If you're considering trying them out, do it, I promise it's worth the couple weeks wait!

Have an appt. in a few weeks as they are very busy. Will be our first time visiting!

Check out there dog food. Same prices as Blue Wilderness, but so much healthier for your fur baby's. I dropped off mine in am for grooming, researched it online, when I picked up my girls I bought a 30lb bag.

Posh Paws is wonderful! The staff there are excellent with the animals, you can see how much they care. They get to know each client and all the moms and dads. I wouldn't take my Beagle anywhere else in the area. Posh Paws has moved their location but their service is as awesome as ever. They are without a doubt some of the most caring dog groomers I have ever had the pleasure to deal with. Even our newest reduce who is skittish around almost everyone has no reservations here. He runs right and and wants love!

I’ve been going to posh paws for almost a year, I won’t take my little Nala no where else!!! I absolutely love the new location. All the groomers are great at what they do and I also love the fact that they don’t put there fur clients in Kennels and they are free to play with other dogs. I never have to worry if she’s safe or treated right because I know they love what they do and it shows!!! My little fur baby always comes out looking amazing!!! I can’t wait till they open back up after this pandemic passes!!!

I usually take my dog to Petco for walk in services but since the whole pandemic that was no longer an option because they aren’t having walk ins. This place was super nice and super quick. Will be bringing my boy here from now on????????
