Mary took good care of my cat when we were away on Christmas vacation. She was professional and caring towards our kitty. I loved that she used PPE to walk around the home (as I shared with her the no shoe policy). She kept me updated with visits and everything in our home was just as we left it. She came to meet us shortly before our trip, which I found great. I would highly recommend her business to others and will be using her again in the future!

Mary was absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I just got married and needed someone to watch our fur babies while we were gone on our honeymoon. We came across Mary and instantly knew she’d be perfect. She took the best care of our dog and 3 cats. She sent and posted daily photos and videos of them and kept us updated! She even checked our mail, collected our packages and kept the liter box tidy. ❤️ She took care of our fur babies as if they were her own. We will definitely be calling her again. I found Mary’s Pet Project via the recommendation of a friend. I knew once I talked to Mary on the phone that she is a true animal advocate who loves her work. My sixteen-year-old blind dachshund required someone to stay with him overnight, and I needed Mary’s assistance. She was very professional and thorough during her initial interview with me, asking many questions I had not thought of asking her. Mary kept me updated during her stay at my home and I felt very comfortable leaving my sweet boy in her expert care. I particularly enjoyed her photos and a video collage that she texted to me. Mary is also a gifted pet photographer, apparently! I enjoy following her business on Instagram just to see photos of the cats and dogs she cares for. Mary is literally the best dog walker/dog caretaker I have ever had. I was worried coming to Modesto as a travel RN because the city is small and I didn’t want to use a dog walking app like Rover because those walkers are not always as responsible or vetted but finding Mary and her business on Google made all the difference for my one year old golden Simba. I work nightshift so she made arrangements for night time visits for Simba. She is so responsive, reliable, and just great at what she does. When she does the consultation to meet your pup and discuss what care you need for your animal, she asks all the right questions to ensure your pet is well taken care of and if there will be anyone else interacting with the animal like another employee, she brings them along or lets you know well in advance. Extremely detail oriented which is important if you have a pet with special needs (mine is allergic to literally everything except his special dog food/treats). I fully trusted her and her employees to go into my house when I was not home and take care of my pup. Mary and her employees have been such a blessing during this three month assignment. Don’t hesitate to contact them for all your pet care needs! I’m so happy I didn’t. I wish I could take Mary and her employees with me to all my travel nursing assignments. They’re just that amazing. My partner and I adopted our cat, Lemony earlier this year. We decided to take our first vacation but were unsure how we were going to make sure she was looked after since we do not have family in the area. Eventually, we decided that a pet sitter would be the best option to make sure Lemony was cared for while we were away, while also avoiding the stress it would cause her to be boarded. We found Mary’s services through a Google search and we are so glad we did. Mary was professional and clearly experienced in pet sitting. The pre-meeting was thorough and we could clearly talk about our expectations on how to care for Lemony. Mary would come twice a day - in the morning and afternoon to feed and play with her. While we were gone, she provided us with picture/video updates every day. I would highly recommend Mary’s services for anyone who is looking for a pet sitter in the area!! I will surely be using her services again.

We highly recommend Mary’s Pet Project! Mary came in twice a day for visits with our kitty, Lucy while we were away on our first get away since COVID hit. This was also the first vacation in many years that we were able to really relax because we knew that Lucy was being taken care of so well. Mary sent photos & videos & that was so much appreciated. We love that she tailored her services to our special needs. She was so great with Lucy. It was the first time that Lucy was so calm when we arrived home. Mary also took care of the neighborhood kitty that sleeps on our porch. She made certain to give our home the ‘we are at home’ look & even placed our garbage cans out. I highly recommend Mary for your cat boarding needs. She took excellent care of my three cats in her home for three weeks. They had their own guest room (no kennels or cages) complete with furniture, toys, a window, AND MUSIC. She sent photos and videos to me every three or four days. I will definitely become a repeat customer. Oh, did I mention the great rates? If I could give her more than five stars, I would.

Mary has been walking my Labrador Retriever for the past few months. She is consistent and reliable and is able to accommodate my non traditional work schedule. My dog is always happy to see her. Mary is amazing! We called her on relatively short notice and she didn’t hesitate to help us. She was super thorough and thought about all kinds of stuff you don’t usually think about and our dog absolutely loves her. She sent pictures and videos while we were away and just did such a wonderful job. I can’t recommend her enough!

100% would recommend Mary to watch anyone's pets! I had a family emergency and needed a last minute pet sitter for my cat. She was prompt and replied back to me late at night. I have used her service several times after that. Always sends the best updates along with pictures. And my cat warmed up to her quickly, so I know that my cat was comfortable and safe with her.

I love being able to go out of town knowing my pets will be in such good hands! I never have to worry about them getting what they need, plus lots of love and affection while I am gone, while being able to be in comfortable in their home, not off a a kennel.

Mary is the best! We have multiple cats with unique personalities and needs. Mary takes the time to pet and play with our friendly girl while stealthily feeding and checking on our two antisocial scaredy cats. She also feeds our (fixed) outdoor feral family and doesn’t even charge combat pay when she has to shoo away a raccoon or two! I love that she takes the time to interview clients so that she is aware of your pets needs and routines. Since we have one kitty with diabetes and one with lymphoma, it is a huge relief that Mary is also able to administer medications. Her text and photo check-ins alleviate my concern while we are away.

Mary is a great “sitter”. Our scaredy-cat loves her. She is dependable, trustworthy and we love that she texts us pics and videos when we’re away.
