I see some people here complaining about the cost…yes, emergency visits aren’t cheap, but if it’s an emergency, then it doesn’t matter. I spent most of my Sunday looking for a vet willing to take in my cat who had been throwing up all day. They either said the wait was 10 hours or that they were at capacity. Mira Loma’s front staff was very friendly with me and were able to squeeze us in. The doctor was very professional and knowledgeable. He was able to unblock Gizmo and explained all of his results to me in a clear way and answered all of my questions. I’m very grateful that they were willing to help when so many others turned us away.

Taken my dogs here 3 times for foxtail removal. The last time the pricing was very high and I decided to go else where.The doctor called me back same day, found the errors made in the bill and corrected them. I appreciate that he took the time to go over and correct the issues. Most of the staff are nice. One of them seemed a little agitated.that worried me cause they are responsible for taking care of the animals and I don't want anyone agitated around my already nervous dog. Still this is a minor issue, all together appreciate the service and will be returning if my pups have any further issues.

If I could give then a "ZERO" I would. Our dog was attacked by two pit bulls. Our normal vet was not open, so we called and got an appointment at Mira Loma Animal Hospital. It was our first time as well as our dogs going to this vet. When I arrived I needed to call, which I understand due to COVID precautions. A representative then took more information over the phone and came out to get our dog. Everything was done by phone. i never met or got to talk to the vet face-to-face. The vet called me on my phone, as I was waiting outside to tell me that it would be $1,450.00 estimate to clean, medicate, blood work, x-rays, and medication for our dog. That is RIDICULOUS! Our dog had several punctures wounds with the main concerns being a deep laceration on his neck. All the dog needed was the wounds cleaned out, local numbing and 4-5 stitches. I would strong AVOID this place.

I honestly love them to pieces I bring all of my dogs here. I have Been coming here since before the practice was sold. We love the staff here and honestly we pay a little bit more but all of our bulldogs are healthy and happy.

Very unprofessional people. They charge way to much for vaccines and they are unable to explain what are they doing to your pet. Never coming back

Inconsistency with the different employees, they say one thing then change the story, rude to customers, and victim blame. They do not care about the fur babies that come to them, all they care about is money!

What a joke of a place this is!!! So unprofessional sending information out that’s not correct. Spent 1700 dollars and they send a girl outside who was only on her second day of work who didn’t have a clue what she was doing. I don’t recommend this place what so ever.

Dr. Jammu was great to work with and he went above and beyond. We have been using him for a year now and have referred all our friends. Also want to mention his pricing is perfectly priced and we never feel taken advantage of.

I was so shocked at the receptionist and nurse I left without seeing doctor. I wouldn’t go there if I had to travel a hundred miles to see a vet.

They killed my dog bc I didn't have the money , worst vet ever. She was only a puppy RIP Minnie

My wife and I have twice turned to Dr. Rannit Jammu and his skilled staff twice in the past four months when we were confronted w/ authentic veterinary emergencies on Sunday afternoon/evenings. Both times we were impressed with the too notch skill our beloved pets received. Dr. Jammu is a consummate professional- Prepared, staffed and stocked with top caliber equipment to deliver unrivaled care. Added plus- His clinic is kept in a perpetual state of first class cleanliness, clean enough to satisfy any military officer! We also appreciated that Dr. Jammu's staff followed up within 24 hrs to check in on the recovery of our pets. We are lifelong animal lovers and owners of both dogs, cats and occasionally a bird or two. We strongly recommend Mira Loma Animal Hospital!!

The girls in the office are very rude. They are changing policies for Covid 19, I totally understand that. Typically if your going to make changes you let customers know about them on the phone before they show up, not rudely lecture them and act like they should have known about your "new" policy you just made up. If I could give zero stars, I would. Be kind people.

My cat was at the end of his life and yesterday woke up unable to move his legs. He was in pain and suffering. I called my regular vet that I’ve used for years to put my poor cat down, but he couldn’t get me in until the next day. My cat was suffering! So I called around and after calling several places, I found Mira Loma Animal Hospital. They were going to squeeze my cat in at noon but knowing how much pain he was in, got him in at 10:45 AM. And we’ve never even been there before! They were kind and compassionate, as well as professional. The doctor even called after to let me know my cat died peacefully and explained what could have caused the paralysis. I have other pets and will now take all of them to Mira Loma Animal Hospital. I highly recommend this veterinarian!

The Doctor and nurses were all hands on deck when I brought Lady in a breath away from death. They literally started working on her seconds after I rushed in seeking help. She is fighting for her life now at another 24 hr vet clinic but thanks to the team at Mira Loma Animal Hospital for their knowledgeable and fast response to stabilize her. I apologize to the other customers and patients that were there when I walked in. I know you were all placed on a long hold but I hope you can understand that my poor Lady came in critical condition. I truly believe that your 4 legged loved ones are in good hands with this staff. Thank you again.

In early December I got a call that a ferile cat was slowly dying and asking for help I picked him up, attempted to nourish him despite a severe cold but to no avail. That night I rushed him to the emergency clinic in Highland but had to take him back with a promise to hospitalize him when I got him. I called numerous vets and none would take him on short notice during COVID times. All except Mira Loma Animal Hospital. They took in Turbo, helped work with donors and spent two days saving this poor guys life! The doctor was extremely kind and encouraging. I will be using This vet from now on. They are amazing! The vets showed their true colors in a time of need and this was the only one willing to help. I highly recommend!

Sadly our family pet did not recover from her illness, but at every step, the staff were compassionate, empathetic, and very clear. They explained everything and offered several options maintaining contact and finally comfort.

Waited for more than two hours for my dogs medication. Noone else was here but me when I showed up.

I've never had any issue before today with this office. The doctor is usually very informative and techs are usually very friendly. I took my ESA to get spayed, and I had questions as I have never been through this before. The tech gave me a attitude which I was surprised as they've never done that. I brushed it off. I asked if they would call me before they took her in for surgery and they did not. I was called after it was already done. Waited for them to call me to pick her up, I had to call them. When I picked her up I had more questions, like what kind of things I should watch for in the event she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia, the tech told me there is zero chance she would have a reaction (which is not true) and gave me an attitude. Super disappointing because I loved that vet office until today. She is a new tech whom I've never seen there before.

My dog Anubis and I had to go back to Hawaii and the vet as well as the staff were very helpful.

I hardly ever leave reviews as you can see on my profile, but Dr. Ranjit Jammu deserves it. Today was my second time taking my pet in to see Dr. Jammu and the team at Mira Loma Animal Hospital and they've made a lifetime customer. The prices are very reasonable and the Dr. Jammu goes ABOVE AND BEYOND when it comes to explanations. I have had at least 100 vet visits in my lifetime, mostly vets local to Mira Loma Animal Hospital, and I've watched prices go up while the level of care goes down. That is absolutely not the case here. I also have to commend Dr. Jammu on the tech side of his business. By default they email after-visit summaries that include copies of X-Rays, ultrasound pictures, urinalysis testing, and easy-to-read side-by-side comparisons of past and present blood work. Another cool amentity is that their exam tables start on the floor and lift your dog up so you don't have to! Long story short... Go there and see Dr. Jammu. You will NOT be disappointed.

Took my outside cat in to be treated. From the initial call to her being seen, my experience was amazing from start to finish. Staff and Vet was informative and professional. With Covid happening right now, they made this visit easy and worry free, one less thing to stress about during these trying times.

If I could give zero stars I would. My dog was poisoned so I brought her in, I actually called first so they were expecting me. When I got there they were taking dogs that needed wormer, shots, and stiches removed versus a dog that clearly looked like something was wrong. My dog had a swollen muzzle and eyes, drooling, and unable to walk. They took us to a room and said that they would be right back. She didn't come back and we waited for a half an hour. We opened the door to find her and she was taking other patients. My mom and I got fed up with waiting and went to a different vet that confirmed that our dog got poisoned.

This place was amazing before they switched owners. I took my two puppies for 2nd set of parvo and deworming. We were sent away 3 times due to the dr being in surgery or unavailable. The 4th time around they are finally seen and my puppies had diharrea and Dr said he couldn’t vaccinate....to run all these tests first and then put them on medication for the diharrea and then vaccinate. I took them to banfield pet hospital and told them the situation. They vaccinated and my pups no longer have diharrea and are good :) This place went downhill since they changed owners. What a shame...after 20 years of that being the location for our pets, we are moving on to banfield due to the terrible service. They want your money...that is all.

This Vet is here to help your pet not drain your wallet. Been going here for 3 years for all my pets. Two dogs and two cats. Update 10-10-19 New Vet at this location still a very good service.

I believe this vet office is under new management and ownership. Dr. Jammu is the best vet we've ever taken our dogs to. He is extremely thorough and takes the time to explain all of the conditions with you. He even brings his laptop to show you results and articles about your pet's conditions. He actually cares about your pets and tries to make them feel more comfortable. He doesn't try to rip you off and is very straightforward about his prices and details exactly what each item or procedure costs and why it is needed. He doesn't try to give you a procedure that the dog does not need. He even gave us free special diet can food for our dog when she had pancreatitis. My dog was recently spayed with their office and they have gone above and beyond to make sure everything is fine with her. They have followed up and called everyday to check on her. They even brought her back in to do more testing free of charge to make sure she is doing well. I couldn't be more happier with this office. His staff is extremely nice and courteous as well. This is the first time I feel that I'm in good hands and I have nothing to worry about. Also, his hours are great and he is willing to see your pet at all times through the day.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr Jammu and his staff! They are caring , knowledgeable and very affordable! Their prices are MORE then fair but most important is their level of expertise for caring for your beloved pet! I am more then pleased and happy to know my pets are in good hands! I highly recommend Mira Loma Animal Hospital!

The Dr. took the time to explain, treat and follow up. We were quite impressed with his knowledge and demeanor. Has up to date equipment to cover any procedure!
