Booked an appointment for 9 AM Tuesday morning. I arrived @ 8:57 AM and waited until 10:05 AM. No one showed up. Calls went to voicemail and were not returned. Update, they had an emergency (but still could have made contact) and apologized. Service was reasonable.

This place would prpbably be better if you spoke Spanish. Sometimes I don't know if they understand me fully when I ask a question because they just nod. It's a family owned business and you can see the owner, his wife, and sons running the shop. They are very nice and friendly people. A lot times their work is just not super great but at least it gets done. The dog hair trimming can be really choppy at times. Sometimes they scratched my dog multiple times and one time they clipped too close to my dog's nail and it started bleeding heavily but they were honest about it. Currently as of July 2020, a 15-25lb dog bath, trim, and nail clipping is $70 and a teeth cleaning is $90 which I HIGHLY recommend. My dog's teeth, especially the back teeth, were almost entirely encased in tartar and plaque. They were able to get 90% of the tartar and plaque off!! At any other vet places they charge $400-500 because they need to put the dog under anesthesia. So I'm not sure how Pampered Pet does it without anesthesia but it is definitely worth the price.

They take walk ins, it s good. I brought my dog yesterday. They were not able to cut my dog nails, ended we had to cut the rest. They charged us $15 for doing 1/2 work done. Not go back again.

We are in Millbrae from out of state. I asked a fellow doodle owner where she recommended a bath & grooming for our dog, Odie. Turns out Pampered Pets was a short walk away & they made an appointment for Odie when we needed it. I was very impressed! Before even taking Odie back, Oscar petted & loved on him first. He introduced his mother, brother & told me their history—taking the business after their father was no longer able to work. Odie’s grooming was perfect and we were both happy clients and give them a perfect 5!

I was very nervous after reading one bad review but this place was amazing. I brought my cat in and they treated him with a lot of care. They were patient with him and gave him a good haircut. When I arrived to pick him up he was very calm which was a good sign to me. The people there were very lovely. 10/10 would take my cat there again in the future.

I was recommended by a friend , they are really good and treat my girl very kind . Love it .

I called on a Saturday to have my cat's nails clipped. They took me right away and did a great job. I really appreciate being accommodated at the last minute. Dede cut my cat's nails and he was quick and efficient.

Today was my first time taking my dog to be groomed at Pampered Pet. I was pleasantly surprised at the care and service they provided. This husband and wife team are kind, professional and made me truly feel like I left my dog in good hands. They will definitely be the new groomers for our dog. Thank you!!

Wonderful experience here. The owners are husband and wife and are an older couple. They really seem good with dogs. I wanted my dog's hair cut shorter but didn’t want it too short as I was worried she’d be too cold. The husband understood completely and told me she’d be done in a couple of hours. When I came back he was just finishing up. (I like that you can see them both working from the front window!) The haircut was beautiful and the perfect length. She was like a new dog. Even though I live a bit far (in Daly City), I will be going back there from now on.

Pet owners beware! I used to love the service and I had taken my two cats there on several occasions! But one day, what was supposed to be a simple bath turned out to be a 6-week long, very expensive nightmare! I dropped off my two cats in the morning and was told they would be ready around 5pm. When my husband went to pick them up, he found the male cat in a cage with his mouth wide open and bleeding. We rushed him to an emergency vet in SF where he had to undergo surgery. His jaw has been broken in 3 different places and needed to be wired shut. And for 6 long weeks, we had to tube feed him 4 times a day. We contacted the groomer/owner and asked what had happened, the time the accident had occurred and if he had insurance. According to him, my cat tried to run away and slammed his little face against the wall and that it had happened around 1pm in the afternoon. We were infuriated as he never called us AND he could have taken my cat to the veterinary clinic located directly across the street from his shop but chose to do nothing! He simply left my cat in pain and bleeding for 4 hours before we finally came to pick him up. My cat was released from the clinic 4 days later at a cost of almost $7,000.00. The shop owner told us he had insurance but it turned out to be a lie. So, we filed a law suit against him which we won. However, we have not seen a dime because he cannot afford to pay the settlement!! He has not even tried to reach out to us to try and make a payment arrangement in order to settle his debt.

Very friendly people! They really seem to care about great and friendly service. I've been to a few groomers around the area and this has to be the best i've come across so far. If you're particular about how your dog is groomed, be sure to talk them through it before you leave.
