Lots of room for the dogs to run. People and dogs are very friendly. Sadly the garbage cans are outside, the poop bag dispenser us almost always empty. All in all a great place!

For years Alana's remains my absolute favorite spot for a terrific breakfast or lunch. The food is always fresh, tasty and served up by the best staff on the Peninsula.

I had the single most supportive customer service experience of my life here last week when we went in with our brand-new dog, Luigi, to purchase him a collar and pick up a few other supplies. We had just adopted him a few hours before and had no idea that he would be freaked out by the aisles. He had an absolute panic attack about a third of the way through the store and attempted to slip his lead. We made a bit of a commotion as I managed to get him into one of the aisles and sort of hem him in and start calming him. An employee was there immediately and they didn't ask what was going on or worry that we were causing damage or anything of the sort - the first words out of their mouth were "What do you need?" with a very clear tone of "How do I help make the dog OK again?" I told them I thought he just needed a bit of space (no new people too close) and they said something to the effect of "I'll clear a perimeter", then warned me that they were going to move something out of the way in the next aisle and that it might frighten him (I think it was a cart for re-stocking). Then the employee returned to the front counter, saying we should take our time. After a minute, Luigi was calmed back down. We didn't venture any further in, but carefully grabbed what we needed and checked out. There were three or four employees gathered at the front counter and they didn't say anything more about what happened, but just rung us up normally and engraved a tag for him. I was so focused on poor Gino that I forgot to thank them, but hopefully this review goes some way toward showing our appreciation. They were honestly so wonderful and so compassionate toward our sweet, frightened boy, offering the exact right level of interference. We'll be coming here again once we've built up his confidence a bit. In the meantime, he's very handsome in his new collar and is enjoying his new rope toy.

AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Whenever I come in here, whether to take my dogs to the self-service wash or need to buy them something, I am met by an incredibly nice employee. They always ask if I need help and give me recommendations if trying to decide between products. The washing station is always clean, and they're doing a great job accommodating for COVID restrictions (note: photo includes apron before shelter-in-place; they are now offering disposable aprons for current times). Spoil your pet and take them in:)

They are being Sweethearts and helping us find the best fit and type of leash and harness for our dogs. A Vizsla and a pitbull our fur kida.

Good place to buy & order dog food online. Also good place to give dogs bathes since they have self-served bath places. They also have free samples of dog foods that help me to pick my next bag of purchase.

Self service dog wash was extremely convenient and fast and a real back saver. Plus it's not our bathroom covered in dirt and water droplets.

Staff are super knowledgable and care about your pets. The level of quality in the products is much higher than you would see at Petco or PetSmart.
