Recently moved in near this place and like many people have said, barking at all hours…especially during the day. I just don’t get it. Please be a considerate business in a residential zoned area. I love animals, but this isn’t normal, happy dogs.

This is a wonderful family run business that pays great attention to our dogs every time where there. They also offer great dog training for those in need that service. Highly recommend placing a call to them if your looking for services relating to your animals.

Tyson kennels has been serving our community for over 50 years. The majority of our low reviews are from our new neighbors (apartments built two years ago). We have an open concept. All of our kennels are large with indoor and outdoor access. This means any barking can be heard. It is unfortunate that people who have never visited or tried our services are allowed to rate our performance. Our family business is loving, safe and reliable. All of our guests come running through our doors tails wagging.

We love Tyson Kennels. Our two Rottweilers, Arnold and Winnie, are high energy and strong dogs that not just anyone can handle, but I know they're in capable hands with Tyson's. I love that they post pictures from daycare on their Facebook page so we can see our dogs having fun each day. Tyson's pickup/dropoff is seamless, they communicate well with us, are always willing to take note of our special feeding instructions, and are always friendly. It's clear that they love dogs and that my dogs love it there.

This kennel breeds some of the best, healthiest, smartest, and most beautiful German Shepherd dogs on the planet. Love this breeder and their dogs!

As a neighbor to Tyson Kennel, and a dog owner myself, I felt compelled to better understand what was going on after hearing constant barking and howling for days. I went in to check if the dogs were alright and I was appalled by the conditions. I really didnt think that dogs would be locked up in metal cages these days. Left alone howling during weekend nights. There must be a better way.

Stayed in an apartment next to this business. Constant barking. These dogs clearly are not being taken care of.

I find it strange that Google allows reviews from people who do not actually board their dogs at this business. Most of the bad reviews seem to come from people who choose to live in a previously industrial zoned area. This is like buying a cheap house next to busy highway and complaining about road noise. These guys have been there since 1972!!!

I don’t own a dog but I hear the dogs barking miserably non stop all day and nigh. We can hear them from the apartment we rented next door, and they don’t seem Happy. I don’t know what they do or don’t do to these poor dogs, but if you care at least a bit about your dogs don’t leave them there.

My dog loves to go to day care. She's so excited when we arrive and can't wait to get inside. She's always seemed happy when I pick her up too and it makes me happy that she's exhausted from all the play time.

Not sure what's going on there. Just moved into the apartment close to this place. DOGS are barking 24/7. TONS OF DOGS!

I’m grateful for Tyson’s. The staff is friendly and they are very accommodating. I can take my dog there last minute and they feed him, if I want them to. They understand that my dog wasn’t socialized well when we rescued him from the humane society. They don’t force him to play with other dogs and will start helping him make a friend there when he’s ready. Also, I really enjoy looking at the webcam during the day, both at my dog and to watch the other dogs play. Finally, my dog has been training there and has really come a long way since he started. The Tyson’s really know dog behavior and have opened my eyes on some things.

Worst place to take care of your dog. The staff here was quite unfriendly and seemed impatient. My pup came back looking quite agitated. I'd never send pup to the place again. Dogs are barking constantly, I suspect they are just locked up and not really taken care off, definitely does not sound like what they are promising on their website. Would NOT recommend to friends.

So they've been open since 1972. Is it normal for happy, healthy dogs being boarded to be howling constantly? If it was, I'd have to come to the dog park wearing earplugs.

Way too many dogs so consequently dogs are being neglected and if you want to know how much play time your dog had on a given day they can't tell you. One day I dropped Marley off with his harness on and they asked me if they should remove the harness and I told them "yes, remove the harness". The harness was never removed and he chewed thru it--another cost to us. The bleeding gouge near his eye that you can see in the picture was described to me by the manager over the phone as a "small scratch". They told me they had no idea how it happened. Now Marley has a permanent scar. The final straw was Marley getting Kennel Cough. He was so sick that he lost 15 pounds and I thought my dog was going to die. They also denied he got it there.

I didn't visit the Tyson Kennel, I happened to be in the Pet Supplies store which houses the kennel.

Dogs are always excited to go... and that’s the best review, right?

We drop our dog off here everyday, and we're really happy with them. They may not have the best website, or the best webcam, or the best social media presence, but they clearly care about dogs, and are very knowledgable. Plus it's one of few places open until 7 pm.
