Have gone here twice for a nail grind for my 16 lb dog. My dog doesn’t love having this done, but she doesn’t hate it either. She’s had her nails regularly ground with a dremel for over 5 years. The last time I was here my dog was delivered to me with the exclamation, “Your dog is bad. You should touch her paws so she gets used to it.”. My dog is not skittish when her paws are touched. I can only assume she was handled with a lack of finesse. For $30 a pop I expect a bit more caring and understanding. That said, the job they did was thorough.

They did a great job grooming our sheltie. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Took my dog for nail trimming and they were able to take her to the back and do it right away without an appointment. She seemed happy when she came out and her nails were shorter!

This is the second time I've taken a couple of cats here for a friend and each time I have been pleased with their staff as well as the speed and quality of their services. Great location with lots of parking in the back.

This is the worst pet store ever!! The customer experience was horrible!! I was ignored when I asked for help and when I came back the next day to return an item they told me they didn't accept returns take your business elsewhere because this place certainly doesn't deserve it !

I asked them to trim my mini aussies fur an inch. Instead, i got an inch left of fur. No meaningful apology or conversation with the groomer offered.

Don’t understand how anyone can leave possibly a good review about this place! 0 stars! We are still talking about the day we picked up our Golden and all of a sudden he couldn’t walk anymore! Nobody would admit anything and he got clearly injured during the grooming process! But it takes a heart, passion and integrity which this place doesn’t have! Be beware!!!!!!!

The products they carry are great but their customer service is terrible. The employees never greet you and make you wait at the checkout line because they are doing something else behind the counter.

Excellent grooming service. Great to pick up a treat for the pups when walking around downtown. A bit expensive for buying food and stuff regularly. But nice for a treat or for gifts

Pricey pricey. Watch out for sneaky no returns policy

I took my dog to get groomed and then picked her up close to closing time. I paid the girl at the counter and left. When I got home, I found that my dogs ear was cut pretty badly. So much so, I had to take her to the vet. The next day I called and I spoke with the Manger/head groomer. After explaining what the situation to him and he began to argued with me that his groomers could not have possibly cut her ear while grooming her and if they did they would say something. Again, I reiterated what I knew and sent picture to show him the cut. At no point did i even ask for my money back. All I was looking for was for them to admit it and say sorry!! That did not happen. No apology whatsoever! He just continued arguing with me how they did not harm my dog. I vowed never to take my dog there , nor purchase anything from their store ever again! Please keep this in mind if you take your dog to get groomed at Bow Wow Meow in Menlo Park! Check your pet thoroughly before leaving. So this does not happen to you or your pet!

Store carries dog treats that you buy by the pound from bulk bins & a dry beef sausage that makes great training trays when cut fine. I give the store 4 stars. But, avoid the groomers if you have a dog with a two layer coat. An improper cut can take more than a year to grow out.

Went in for nail trimming, it was fast and easy and they have a fun supply of treats you won't find at the big chains

I used to take my dogs to Petco but after discovering this place I have been coming here instead. I like the way they groom my shih tzu very angular and clean cut and my dogs still look nice as their fur grows out for a couple of months. It is pricey but worth it.

The best place to shop for your furry baby but the grooming shop I won't recommend

They trim my dogs toenails with minimal trauma and super fast! So many specialty dog and cat foods. He loves his treat afterwards.
