We just had our two labs At the Château for 12 days. They took excellent care of the dogs while we were gone for Christmas and New Year’s. I would recommend this place to anyone. But also go to doggy daycare and the dogs like that as well

This is the third time we have boarded our dog here. The kindness and special care the team at Briarcliff show Sophie is so appreciated. Our family frequently brings their dogs here for doggy daycare. I highly recommend this business. tanyone who believes their pets are a part of the family.

Friendly staff and good pricing! Our dog Max is always well cared for and happy when we pick him up. They went the extra mile when they noticed some injuries to Max’s leg (that I failed to notify them of at drop off) and made sure to contact me to let me know they’d keep an eye on it and render first aid if he needed it. Highly recommend!

So noisy.. We live nearby and the dogs bark and howl constantly as if they are left unattended. Not just at certain outside hours but almost all day long. Makes me wonder about the lack of attention they are getting.

Im not here to talk bad about any businesses but I believe in honesty! People bring their fur babies to Briarcliff hoping they will be well taken care of while on vacation ,but instead you’re being overcharged for rooms like the vineyard suite where the tv is never on ! Not sure if they even work, and some have no beds ! The dogs being kenneled in a loud and stressful environment. Also, the kennels are very old , there is mold on ceiling and the drains are always clogged up . The staff is forced to tell customers that there are plenty of bedding and blankets available !!!! NOT TRUE !!!!! Ever wonder why you still can’t come inside ? Whilst the manager will tell you, you can’t come inside due to covid, it’s actually to cover up the poorly ran facility. Horrible Management employees come and go with in weeks ! Scams and lies !!!! Just for a quick buck !

The dogs are not getting the 10 min playtime, the staff has to take a quick pictures of the dog to send to the Owner and then they take the dog right back to kennel. The Kong toys are not being filled up every day ! The dogs are always in the dark , lights are only on when the staff is cleaning to save electricity! There is not enough blankets for the dogs and the Tv’s in the Suites are never on ever !

Best pet resort in the region. Owners and staff are so friendly and truly do care about the well-being of your pet. I especially love the updates and pictures that they send me of my Pug, Gracie, during Pet and play time.

I had never left my dog before. So it was all new and scary. They made me feel comfortable leaving her, and sent me daily updates. We definitely recommend, especially if you are in the same situation like me.

My dog came home from a weekend there and urinated for at least 3 minutes straight. I have never seen him do that. It led me to believe that he was not given ample time outside the kennel. When I brought up my concerns with management, they did not apologize. On the contrary, they got all kinds of offended and snotty with me. I never went back after that.

We left our dog at Briarcliff for four days. Our dog needs a prescription medicine every day, so I brought enough capsules for five days, just to be safe. I explained his medication requirements when i dropped him off and was assured they would take care of everything. When I picked him up, I realized he was given his medicine only once. I wanted to know why my dog wasn't given his medicine every day and was told I would get a call from the owner to let me know what would be done to make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else's animal, but I never heard from them. I will never take my dog, or any other animal, there again

They were able to take us last minute on a weekend, sent us photo updates of our pup, and we could tell she was much happier and more relaxed at Briarcliff than with previous kennel stays. Would definitely recommend.

Great accomadations for our pets. Friendly staff. Reasonably priced. Only recommendation is to have more staff available on Sunday. They are only open 2 hours for pick up and drop off and only 1 staff member. The place was packed. I waited over 30 minutes to get my pooch.

We’ve brought both our dogs here a few times. Not only is the staff incredibly genuine dog lovers, but the facility it top notch, clean, and very well maintained. Love the updates and pictures.

We love this place. They take good care of our dogs and even when we call them up to see how they are doing staff doesn't get upset!! They will even send you photos of the good time your pet is having. A couple of years ago they had a problem of loosing toys, etc that we would leave but they seem to have fixed this - but check for good measure anyway. It's a long distance to go back for medication or a favorite toy.
