Absolutely love Northgate Veterinarians. I had to put my Harley down. They were so nice and compassionate. I have used them for years and continue to do so.

Friendly staff that I trust with my pet.

They took great care of my cat Sophie and when it was time to put her to sleep, I trusted them to give me the right advice and perform the procedure. It’s bittersweet but thank you to all the staff and the veterinarian doctors there.

Knowledgeable vets + courteous, compassionate and professional staff made Northgate Vetranary Hoslital our go-to vet for our 2 female Shih tzus. Due to tracheal collapse (common in small snub-nosed dogs), we recently had to let them go. The staff at Northgate made that difficult decision; and the actual process a little easier to bare.

We had to put our beloved Jack Russell to sleep and were treated with the utmost sympathy and caring from the entire staff.While still grieving we are thankful for their kindness

I want to share my experience with Northgate Veterinary Hospital, on 8/30/21 our entire town of South Lake Tahoe was evacuated due to a wildfire and with everything going on and trying to pack and grab things from our house I forgot my dog’s medication. I was staying at my sister’s house I called their office explained my situation and was able to get my dog the very next day in the early morning to see the Vet! My dog got her physical exam and her medications she takes everyday for seizures I want to Thank them and highly recommend them for their prompt care and professionalism! Kyla is doing good

Great place but expensive. If you get prescription meds for your pet, check online before paying their price. My cat needed Clavamox and if I had just had the vet give a prescription and approve my online purchase, I could have saved $13+ if I had bought the meds from Chewy or elsewhere online. Bring your smartphone when you go and check prices for products before paying.

We took our cat here for an emergency visit. The staff was quick to help and handled our cat with care. Prices were high, but you get what you pay for. Very professional and knowledgeable people at this location.

My dog suffered for 2 weeks with a ear infection because they didn't prescribe antibiotics the first time I took him in for treatment. All they want is your money.

These people are attentive and actually seem to truly care about what they do and the patients they care for. Everything is patiently explained to you using clear language and they even do follow up calls! Our cat had to have surgery and they called us the next day to check up on her! I am fully convinced they are passionate about their work, definitely going here from now on!

My moms dog was taken good care of having teeth pulled and they are very friendly towards people and their pets. If you need any work on your dogs, make sure you check them out.

Our Buddy LOVES this place. They also take GREAT care of him when we have to leave him boarded for a weekend or long vacation. They are on top of his vaccinations and health checks. They love him as much as we do.

We have been taking our rescue puppy girl here for 6 years. Everyone that works their is very friendly and helpful. We adore Dr. Kimery. She genuinely cares and provides your pet with the best possible care.

Hours are great. Prices are fair. The staff is always friendly and will usually do what they can to get us in same day if possible. The Dr’s have all been really good, but my dogs see Dr Kimery and I will recommend her to anyone that asks. She is amazing, so friendly and really listens to your concerns.

So happy to find this place.
