Whole Pet Vet clinic is a clean, organized, and calm facility. All the staff are friendly there and welcomes my dog as if it’s their own!

A friendly and competent vet.

Our 11 year old French Bulldog was diagnosed with spine problems and his quality of life with quickly deteriorating. Unfortunately his issues are inoperable and steroids brought little relief and lots of nasty side effects. Tank has been seeing Dr Krimsley for acupuncture since April 2020 with fantastic results! From the moment we pull up, Tank runs to the door and cannot wait to go in for treatment. Every staff member is kind and welcoming. Dr Krimsley is easy to talk to, thorough, patient with questions and seems genuinely interested in obtaining good outcomes for Tank. He may not be going on one hour walks anymore, but he is overall much happier, runs after squirrels again, jumps with joy when we come home and is no longer falling down when he goes potty. We couldn’t be happier with Dr Krimsley and the fantastic staff at Whole Pet Vet!

Starting going to Whole Pet Vet because we wanted access to quality holistic care for our cats. Dr. Lee has been hands down the best vet I have ever had the pleasure of working with! She is kind, attentive, caring, and she really listens to us and our concerns. Not only her but the entire staff at Whole Pet Vet that we’ve dealt with is absolutely amazing. We get the sense that they truly care, and we have no qualms about putting our cat’s health and lives in their hands. Whole Pet Vet is a shining example of what a veterinary hospital should be. Other subpar clinics in the Bay Area could learn a thing or two, or 20, from them.

We have been taking the dogs and cats to WPV for years. They have a wonderful office staff and the vets are the best I have ever had. Dr Wheeler sees the boys, Chip and Cooper, havanese and bichon since they were puppies. Dr Lee deals with the kitties and has been taking care of them for 10 yrs. I can’t say enough about all of the vets in the office. They are all wonderful and do everything possible to keep everyone health. You can’t go wrong if you take your pet to them.

The whole pet staff and DR’s are so friendly, helpful, caring, professional and always put your pet first. We highly recommend the entire team. There are alot of choices in the bay area but whole pet vet is the place to go. They also offer holistic care aw well and we have used there acupuncture services and been very happy with all the care. DrHilary is such ana amazing vet and person.

My dog Noah (Blk Lb Mx) 10 yrs old....is a super sweet dog, but when around new people and other dogs is very shy and the anxious (shows his teeth) type. My expereince with other Vets has never been really that good as far as Noah feeling at ease (himself). But this time with Whole Pet Vet (particularly with Corin (one of the nurse techs) -he trusted her....hope i spelled that right), he was totally fine. How do I know? He was able to do acupuncture for 20 mins. Meaning he at ease enough to let people put needles in him! Obviously during the pandemic I couldn't go in and see for myself, but I could have asked them to take a picture, of which I probably would ask for the next time I go...But in any case, just through talking with the staff and the doctor, I feel like to could sense good people. Megan was really helpful. She's one of the nurse techs I believe. But she knew a lot, communicated really well the information I needed for his meds and for all future appts, and was easy going and genuine . Talked slow, clear, and was patient. Dr. Krimsley was the doctor/accupunctist I was appointed. She was cool. She was very willing to work with my anxious/difficult dog. And that goes a long way. 4 stars because this is only our first visit. Thanks for being different and helping us out a LOT, Scott

My dog enjoyed being there.

This place is hands down the best vet I have been to over the years. My dogs actually enjoy going there. Dr. Sur and all the vet techs are incredible. Huge shout out also to Jasmine and Dee at the front desk for always being kind and amazing too. I highly recommend this vet as they treat issues both medically and holistically. Coming initially from banfield and some other private vets over the years, the whole pet vet is simply the best.

I've been going to The Whole Pet Vet for more than a decade and they are great! I appreciate their holistic approach. All of staff I've worked with have been incredibly gentle and respectful of my dog and cats, and the office manager even helped us save 6 newborn kittens! Everyone is knowledgeable and professional, and the facility is clean but doesn't have that 'vet smell'. The only down side is that it can be pricey, but I think it's worth it.

Wonderful place, great people there!

I was super nervous about taking my dog to the vet office, but when my dog suffered from UTI I couldn't ignore it. I made an appointment and went into another office the week before and had horrible experience. I made an appointment with Dr. Lee, and she was highly compassionate and great with my dog. The staff was also great even though my dog pooped in the middle of the lobby after smelling around. I was pretty mortified, but they were very understanding. Dr. Lee knew I wanted more holistic and conservative treatments so she gave me plenty of time to make my decision on care, and we opted for x-rays and herbs to dissolve the bladder stones. We also chose some grooming, because his fur was so matted. I had no idea my papillon-pomeranian could look so good! He was fluffy! My dog did really well on the herb, and he had no problem after starting on the herbs. Thank you, Dr. Lee! I highly recommend her and the office.

Great vet. Competent, licensed professionals. I always feel my dog is in good hands. The office staff are also very helpful. They went out of their way to help make sure my labradoodle got in for a non-anesthetic dental cleaning, which went really well! I highly recommend.

Easy to get appointments. Doctors are very nice and personable.

This where we take our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from the first day we had him. They are all into holistic medicine and very focused on the best and healthiest practices. The use homeopathy to help our little guy cope with the immunization side affects. Great doctors and great staff.

As a follow up to my post yesterday, the person responsible for the mix up yesterday contacted me, took responsibility, and apologized. In my book, that goes a long way to recover my trust. This is no reflection on the ability of the veterinarian staff. These pills have given my dog the ability to walk again with out as much pain. __ I have never left a negative review ever. But, this time is different. I called on a Friday morning to get a refill on my dogs prescription and mentioned to the person that I live 45 mins to 1 hour away. She said no problem we'll give you plenty of time. She didn't call back until 4:30 - too late for me to go and pick it up. So, okay Saturday - my fault because I thought they were open until 2 and when I arrived at 1:30 they were closed. So, okay Monday - I call and they have the pills in stock and I can come and pick them up. When I arrived at 1:50, they were closed again from 1:30 to 3:00 for a staff meeting. Who has 1.5 hour staff meetings and why didn't the person mention this when I called. I have never dealt with such an inept vet office in my life!! Still no pills for my dog.

Horrible experience- my lab was diagnosed w aggressive cancer by Great Vet Los Gatos Fog and Cat hospital and and a huge mass was removed at Sage hospital on an emergency from her stomach- now we need to figure out this difficult journey from here in— I had taken our lab, to this place a few years ago -so I went in person and made an appointment 10 days ago to have her seen and have alternative ways to treat /Shasta, my lab- today at 8:40 am I get a text to confirm the appointment, at 3:20 I get a call to confirm the appointment which we have been waiting for for 10 days - 3:27 pm today another message is left that my appointment is changed to noon tomorrow—- So I call to ask about taking lab tests in and I find out that they cancelled my appointment !!!! It is 6 pm when I call them, less than 3 hours after they confirm my apointment..., They say they called again and cancelled it!!! When I said is not the case, which doctor or hospital you have seen that confirms 3 times in the same day before appointment and then they cancel on a dog cancer ;(:( the lady says oh!! maybe they called the wrong number and left a message on the wrong number!!! I am shocked of the unprofessionalism and lack of care —it is unacceptable and unethical !! Then she says they don t have a doctor available !!! But seem like they did when they Confirmed my appointment 3 times - but suddenly they don t !! With an urgent need, they proceed to tell me their next available is August 12 th - in two more weeks !!! when they chose to cancel the appintment the day before !!!!!! If you have a pet that needs real care, I would not count on this place - I saw a lot of good reviews and some are from years ago but that is not at all my experience today The staff kept repeating the same thing which did not make sense at all !my dog is 10 years old and I have been to different vets over the years and all have been good except this one. They only reason I came here was to go everything I can for my dog, alternative treatment which they said they have !!!the only reason I have records of the calls and their written transcription of messages left and the lists of my incoming calls / I have proof of their lie - not sure at all how the vet is who I was supposed to see and decided not to show or get a replacement, but if it is anything like the staff manager who chose to cancel and had no apology or regret it for doing so and lied on top of it - then .... oh boy!!! So sad to count on and wait for 10 days for dog w aggressive cancer to see a vet and have the appointment cancelled the day before and they don t even tell you they cancelled it and you find out because you call the find out how to transfer the test results their Unreliable and unprofessional !!! We wasted 10 days when I could have made an appointment w reliable vet instead ... Be aware !!
