Honestly just had the best vet experience of my dogs life to date with this place! The entire staff is warm, kind, and welcoming- and helped my dog who is anxious about vets. Doctor Nunez was incredible and was able to successfully give my dog his shots when his last vet visit at a different hospital was unsuccessful and gave up due to his anxieties. This place is incredible and I am so excited to have such an amazing vet now where I feel so confident in the staff and hospital. Two very enthusiastic paws up

Called today for an emergency issue with my dog and the woman who answered couldn’t have been more rude or less professional. I’ll never call again.

My cat had a visit at this practice, and the 'associate vet' was a joke. She refused to give my cat a rabies shot (my cat was 'too anxious to tolerate it', she said), and prescribed her sedative drops telling us to make another appointment (probably in a month or two with the lack of availability). Yes, please sedate my cat and avoid the treatment of her....She was almost afraid to touch my cat, despite the fact that my cat was anxious but could be calmed down with effort. My cat has an ACTIVE ear mite infection, and she refused to attempt to treat her unless she ordered tests to rule out infection (without any symptoms of infection present). Thankfully another vet actually took the time to assess and treat her. She asked 'has your cat ever been to a vet before', to which I responded, ' yes, my 5-year-old cat has been to a vet before, did you not view the paperwork or listen to anything I've been telling you?" Sure my cat was anxious, but she has never had issues with a veterinarian until today. And she will not be coming back to this pitiful vet.

I’ve been visiting Dr. Roxie for my senior Yorkie for the past two years. I love the way she handles, cares, and treats my yorkie. My Yorkie has struggled anxiety with going to the vet in the past, with Dr. Roxie and her staff I can see how comfortable he is and this is what makes the biggest difference for me. Dr. Roxie has continuously sacrificed time for us when we needed her and has always recommended the best treatments! Overall, the prices are extremely reasonable given the quality of care my puppy is given by staff and Dr. Roxie!

Dr Nunez is excellent at explaining what your pet needs, offering options, and not trying to push things that your don't need. He gets 5 ???? However the front office or billing department needs to communicate better, eg. charging for services that were decided not to be done and price of services changing.

We always get great service and care at VCA Miller Robertson. Dr. Vaughan does a great job caring for our kitty and is very thorough. She found a lesion on her exam that we hadn’t even noticed and explained everything without being alarmist or pushing any unnecessary treatments. We love Dr. Vaughan!

Once I started coming here a little over 4-5 years ago with both my senior cats, I have never looked for another animal hospital. The staff is always professional and friendly and Dr. Nunez is very responsive and compassionate. I also saw Dr. Emily who moved to West LA hospital.

Staff is disorganized. Twice they thought my dog was another dog, but they’ve always been very helpful and friendly. And will always see our dog immediately.

Dr. Vaughn is the best vet in LA, hands down. Our boys are bad and have a lot of health issues and she has been incredibly flexible, caring, thoughtful and thorough throughout all of their visits. Dr. Vaughn takes the time to listen, fully examine the dogs and ALWAYS follows up with us with any and all concerns same day if possible even in the evening after she’s had to have had a 10+ hour work day. I couldn’t recommend a doctor more highly for anyone’s dog in the metro LA area!

Horrible clinic!!! Never!!! Never visit them. They only want your money and nothing more!!!! One day they charge me 97$ for 2 vaccinations and exam. Next time for same vaccinations they charge me almost 200$ !!!! How it is possible?!!!! They told me after, it is not vaccinations day ????‍♀️! How I supposed to know that if nobody told me that!!! Be careful!!!! And yes, they “suggest ” me do for puppy DHPP vaccinations 5 times ????‍♀️.

Went in on January 7th just to inquire about prices. It seems you cannot do that because it violates some kind of doctor patient confidentiality. Would not recommend going here unless you honestly have no care in the world as to how much you are going to pay at the end of anything requested.

Can’t say enough good things about this location & my experiences. We were traveling from out of town as my wife was having a procedure at Cedars-Sinai. The folks helped me schedule an appointment for my dog’s Wellness check so she could be day-boarded. Dr. Roxy was first class as was the staff that took care and interest in my pet. Made an out of town visitor feel like a long term neighbor. Envious of those that get to use them on a regular basis. Everyone took pride in their role to giving our little one the experience that we would give her in our home. Plus worked our pet in for bath. Thanks again folks! Highly recommend this VCA.

My 13 year old cat was constipated which can mean dangerous mega-colon syndrome for Siamese. Scary vet day!The vet tech Nicole and Dr. Roxie B. were both so kind, gentle, and reassuring with my precious cat that I felt OK leaving her for a thorough elder exam and treatment. They even asked what litter we used at home???? Nicole has such sweet heart vibes that my shy old fraidy cat allowed a stranger to pick her up in a huggie to go to the treatment area, wow! ???? after an icky but medically necessary procedure,my cat had her dignity intact, and was presented washed, clean, and immaculate - so important since cats are meticulous groomers and love to be clean!!!! Trauma mitigated for her with this respectful attention, so very important. Dr. Roxie spent 30 minutes reviewing x-rays, exam findings, and treatment recommendations with me. Trustworthy caring folks with technical expertise!

Dr Mark Nunez showed zero compassion last year when my cat was super sick with kidney disease. I went to him due to his experience pointed out by his staff. After paying for blood work, he didn’t have the courtesy to call me and inform me my cats kidney disease was severe, instead he had someone else from their office call me to tell me that the blood work was not good but had no idea what the next step would be for my best friend. Instead Dr Mark Nunez called a couple days later to tell me he recommended we hospitalize my cat, and promised to come up with a referral and rough estimate on cost. Nearly a week went by and he called me exactly at the minute my best friend passed away in my arms. When I called his office earlier that week, they told me he’s got a busy schedule. So my best friends life and severity of his disease was not as important, because Dr Mark Nunez is busy to return calls in a professional and compassionate time frame. This place has gone down the drain since Dr Stout moved to VCA Venice. Don’t waste time or risk coming here with your loved one. Dr Stout is the most compassionate and amazing Doctor in Los Angeles. Do yourself a favor and protect your loved one and take them to her at VCA Venice. When my best friend literally passed away in my arms while I was shedding tears, Dr Mark Nunez called and left me a voicemail an excuse as to why it took him a week to follow up. Never again, will I visit this clinic.

I've brought my dog over for vet visits as well as boarding. The vets have always been nice and professional. My dog seemed happy and pretty relaxed when I picked him up from boarding, which is pretty much all I can ask for. Two caveats: first, I didn't price shop, so it's possible that another vet would be cheaper. I don't know, and at this point I don't care - the rates seem reasonable to me. Second, I did once have a disagreement with a staff member about the price they wanted to charge vs. the price that was quoted (by a different staff member) over the phone. The exchange was courteous and was eventually resolved in my favor. Crucially, the person I spoke to wasn't a jerk, was willing to listen and, after telling me that she wasn't able to fix the problem herself, agreed to get a supervisor (I think) involved. At no point was she unreasonable, and so that exchange plus the overall good service equals five stars. --- EDIT 6/13/18: I just dropped off my dog for another boarding jaunt. He clearly recognized and was happy to see the staff that took him in. That tells me all I need to know. 5/5

I have always had a tough time finding a vet that I like for my critters. When I first moved to the area I went to VCA Robertson only because it was the closest, but I now feel so blessed that they are my neighborhood Animal Hospital. I've seen multiple Veterinarians at this location and every one has been so caring, patient, and attentive it's just amazing. Dr. Nunez especially always makes sure to answer every question I have and follow up to see how my anxious dog is responding to treatments. I can't recommend this Animal Hospital enough they are such great people and really care.

Everyone was very friendly. They have easy free private parking. I didn’t have to wait long considering it was my first visit and I was 3 minutes late.

I have been bringing my rescue dogs here for almost 15 years. Some people are skeptical because it is part of the VCA national franchise, but I love the vets here, and they have seen me through four dogs, and a number of serious illnesses, with compassion and expertise. My one consistent frustration is they are always running behind because they book patients more closely together than the vets can actually manage, and there have been times when I would wait - - lets just say, 'too long'. So what I do, is schedule first thing in the morning before they have had a chance to fall behind. I trust the dogs whom I love to these people, which is the highest compliment I can pay them!
