Can’t recommend enough this amazing place. Our dog Is ecstatic every time we drop him off. The staff is caring and super professional.

My pup loves this place, she’s always excited to see them and is always happy to play. No webcam but they do update on instagram, and there is a loading zone right in front where you can drop off/pick up your pup easily. They have been lifesavers with my busy lifestyle, and they also have been very sweet and nice with any questions I have. Best daycare hands down. Also, never overcrowded unlike other daycares, so I always leave with her smelling good in comparison to other overcrowded daycares where she ends up smelling horrible. She has never gotten sick from this daycare, whereas at the past daycare she got kennel cough because of the extreme amount of dogs there. I would DIE for this daycare, and this daycare has done so much for me that it has earned my eternal loyalty for as long as I live in Los Angeles.

My pups loved it. My German shepherd was a bit nervous at first but had and awesome week day and a fun day care day with her sister winter .

I love uptown pup I take my two dogs there multiple times every week and it's the only daycare they have every been so exited to go to. Both of my dogs are highly energetic and when they get home the always pass out.

I’ve been taking my Australian Shepard to Uptown Pup for several months and he loves it there. The staff is VERY caring, friendly and they take the time to answer all your questions. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I’m so glad I found Uptown Pup.

This place has been the second family of our 2 dogo argentinos. They have watched them grow up and because of them our dogs have incredible social skills. After over a year the dogs still run up to the front doors like a kid on Christmas morning . The staff is very caring and aware of dog behavior. The slightest change in their mood and the staff checks in with us to see if everything is OK. Highly recommend uptown pup even if you don't need a daycare, the social benefits alone is worth taking your dog to them.

I've been regularly bringing my dog here for over a year now. Whether it is a play day or a week of overnight boarding, my dog is STOKED to be dropped off. He also comes home happy and tired. Every employee has been so kind and makes me smile on a consistent basis. I highly recommend Uptown Pup to any and all dog owners.

They have amazing staff, large area for my pup to play and most off all they treat my pup like family.

I'm concerned. I saw a German shepherd being walked in the 85°mid day sun. His tongue was almost dragging on the ground, it was just too darn hot to be walking a big dog like that, any dog really! The walker had an Uptown Pup t-shirt on and was on his phone as the poor dog plodded next to him. The walker had NO WATER or water bowl for the dog. This is unsafe. I'd think a professional day care would be have more understanding of how easily dogs can become seriously ill from heatstroke and how uncomfortable it is for them to exercising when it's hot, especially big dogs. It takes big dogs most of their energy just to keep cool in hot weather. At the very least they should carry water for them.

We love Uptown Pup for our dog, Pan. Really friendly staff (both in front and back) and our pup is always excited to head there in the morning. Have had success both boarding and for day care. Highly recommended! As an aside- I saw one bad review talking about their dog always getting Time Outs - Ours does too sometimes, but he's a growing puppy and needs them to learn how to behave and play well! If you are walking in and seeing your dog getting TOs, it says more about you as a dog owner not taking the time to socialize your dog than it does the puppy daycare spot. Be glad you have a daycare place that respects the dogs enough to help condition them.

They care a lot about the dogs, owner is very warm and welcoming.

Staffs are very friendly and flexible, they love my dog, indoor play area is large and clean. I wish they had a larger outdoor area and webcam access to check how my dog is doing!

Great place to drop off my pup before work, everyone is extremely friendly and my Jimmy loves coming in to see all his friends!

My Obi is pretty hyper and loves everyone here. This is the only daycare he likes. I love that he has other friendly pitbull friends to play with. No discriminations here!

My dog Minnie and Shortie love coming here!! They always look forward to going and come home tired and ready for bed. The staff are really nice as well. I highly recommend Uptown pup since once you walk in you can see the pups activity on the tv. Most doggy daycares I’ve been to don’t have this gives me peace of mind when leaving them for daycare or boarding.

I have been taking my dog here for a few months now, and I have to say this is the best doggy daycare my wife and I have found in all of Los Angeles. We always feel comfortable leaving our pup and we know he is in good hands. Highly recommend this place.

Uptown Pup is such a GREAT asset to the Arts District in DTLA and my pup Capri LOVES it there! The staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable and I always feel comfortable leaving Capri there. I highly recommend them!

Do not go here if you have an "energetic dog". My dog has been going here for the past month and whenever I pick him up he is always in a 4X6 foot pen by himself. When I ask about why he is never with the other dogs I get a slew of different excuses. The main one is that he has lots of energy and they only put the dogs in "time out" for 5-10 minutes. I know this is a complete lie because only ONE TIME out of 20 visits has he ever been in the pen with the other dogs when I pick him up. The probability of me showing up exactly within that 5-10 minute where he is in time out is impossible. I also know this because he is abnormally hyper when I take him home (as if he has been confined to a cell all day). The staff is really nice, but would only recommend this if you have a low energy dog - otherwise he will just be in a cell all day. I took my dog here for the purpose of activity and socialization while I'm at work. If I knew they were going to be putting him in time out all day I would just leave him at home and save the $35 a day...

Uptown Pup is the greatest boarding and doggy daycare facility I have ever had the privilege of using! I 100% recommend them! Also, when it comes to dog boarding and daycare, they have the best facility and customer service in LA! They always go above and beyond and take excellent care of my two pups, Esther and Boy! Boy takes medication twice daily and has some other health issues that need attention. Not only do they take great care of Boy but Uptown Pup has all of his information saved in their system, which makes drop off SO much easier. They also make traveling much easier for me because I never have to worry about Esther and Boy when I am out of town because I know that they're in the very best hands! Thank you Uptown Pup!

The smiles on our pups faces says it all! Great place in the Arts District DTLA. Very accommodating with flexible pick up times. We love seeing the photos of our pups playing, smiling and wagging their tails on Instagram when we are out of town. We just dropped them off yesterday for their fourth stay and they were really excited to be there. We tried other places previously and our dogs would come home stressed and thin from not eating. We don't have that problem with Uptown Pup. They come home happy and tired from playing with the other dogs. It's like a little vacation for them too. So glad we found this place!
